What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Good location, usually stocked up & keep shelves full of items. Nice place to stop for a quick few things.

  2. It’s a typical Kroger, store is clean and well organized. Looked and looked for pistachios, found every nut know to exist where you would expect them to be and by accident I finally found the pistachios by produce. Really, guys we can’t keep them together. My time is totally wasted roaming around, I know that’s the psychology but I must most viently disagree. Stop wasting my time.

  3. Customer service desk employees are super rude. My mom went in to pay her Ameren bill there and the employee behind the desk told her “um were closed” then proceeded to walk away and went into a little office and then came back out and said “I had to fire someone”. Like that’s just rude. Could have been more nicer about the whole situation instead of giving a poor attitude

  4. Customer serviceon7/20/2023 was very nice she knows her job and she is always friendly

  5. Closes at 10pm now, used to close at 11pm. Since I work until 10 pm I cannot shop here anymore. I do not understand why every store is limiting shopping time further and further. Walmart has better prices anyway.

Have been shopping at this location for over 15 years, but as of yesterday, I will be taking my business elsewhere. They have gone completely downhill over the last 12-24 months. It is never just one issue either, but it is always something every weekend. Shelves not stocked, deli counter closed, meat/seafood counter unattended, or only having self-scan checkout available during the day on the weekends. There is no reason that someone who is purchasing $400-500 worth of groceries should have to use the self-scan. Those should be there for the convenience of people who have a small amount of items.

The worst customer service that I have ever had in my life. There is an employee named Jackie, she was very rude and didn’t help, and ignored all the customers who needed help. I will never shop at Kroger after this bad experience that I ever had

Only self checkouts were available at 6pm. The store was full and the self checkout lanes all had long lines. I was treated like a criminal as the service person watched me. The machine notified me that that I was doing something wrong, it then locks up and the service person had to put in the code to make the machine work again. There isn’t enough room to bag my weekly grocery order. This is CRAZY. Customers including myself were treated like criminals. There was no customer service, no one else to help. PLEASE OPEN UP THE REGULAR CHECK-OUT LANES. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!

I’d give it no stars if I could. The fact they cannot man the seafood and meat case past 2 in the afternoon for the last 8 months is absolutely unacceptable. I used to really enjoy this store. Now I will gladly go elsewhere for fresh seafood and meat. Do better Kroger.

We like to shop at this store because of the produce and the fresh Sushi. The problem is there policy of having one lane opened and backed up with 10-15 irrate customers and having to use self check! Crazy! Their business model will fail. Why not hire some of these young criminals running the streets of Peoria carjacking, robbing anyone they can find and shooting one and other almost every day. It would be a win win for everyone! Makes sense doesn’t it! Put criminals to work instead of releasing them back into Society to keep on commiting crimes! We were here today only one checker opened! Do you know how unhappy your customers are? Why not hire a few checkers before the one lane that is opened will not be necessary because you will have lost so many customers and self check is all you will need in fact you do not need any employees at all when you think about it.

The first Amazing saving grace of this store is… the lady that makes the FRIED CHICKEN!!! Each week I include a Kroger fried chicken dinner in our menu. Now, the chicken isn’t as good as KFC’s special recipe… but who can afford KFC’s prices??!? No, the lovely lady who fries up Kroger’s chicken is a master at her craft… crunchy coating with a tender, juicy interior!!

Second saving grace… in the aftermath of Covid – when stores like Walmart are utterly derogating their pickup customers – this Kroger location is treating their pickup customers with Respect. I will occasionally attempt to shop inside this store, but since Kroger Corporate had them play “Hide&Seek” with all their center aisles (thinking if they move EVERYTHING around, gullible shoppers will go to the exertion and time to FIND their regularly-shopped items) customers like me (disabled, older with expendable assets) probably went across the street to shop at the nicer Hy-vee. However, the pickup option is this Kroger’s Saving Grace. I can still go to the Kroger Website (NOT the Kroger app… ALSO completely destroyed by Corporate Sapheads) and find my favorites, along with some weekly bargains. Then the lovely pickup department finds my car (30 minutes sooner than they do at Walmart) treats me Respectfully, and loads up my car. The amazing young man who helped me yesterday was an example. Absolutely freezing temps, brutal windgusts, and this young man is out there loading up cars in a wonderfully organized manner. Courteously, and yes cheerfully!!! Amazing! I’m glad that young man, and the older lady who creates perfect fried chicken… understand that just ONE grocery store employee can make a big difference in the life of Peoria’s shoppers.

Your store has the worst pharmacy, I called four times to be told they don’t have my refill after my doctor told me twice they called it in and followed up. Then today go to another pharmacy just be told that your pharmacy filled it. Called to confirm then three minutes later got told they don’t have my medication in stick to fill, you are the worst. I have had refills sent there and never get notified for puck up then they expire, your staff is rude as well. NO one should go to this pharmacy.

Not too loud, yet crowded, even during the work week. Semi decent pick of brands. Store was small though. I would recommend it still, probably the best Kroger in Peoria.

In Kroger’s fuel rewards program, you earn 1 pt./per $1 you spend. Once you’ve earned 100 fuel points (after $100 spent on groceries), you’ll get 10¢ off per gallon on up to 35 gallons

Hy-Vee offers fuel perks on select grocery items that vary weekly.

Unlike other stores, there isn’t a set reward per dollar amount spent — either check the weekly ad or browse your local Hy-Vee to see which items offer fuel rewards.
