  1. While the food is descent, I despise the cash only policy. It’s bad enough that most expats will not pay US taxes thanks to the benefits of Foreign Earned Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credit. Then in a obvious attempt to ensure the flexibility of fudging income results, this business only exception cash with the suggestion of the customer withdrawing funds from the gas station ATM. So, you pay an ATM fee and most commonly an additional fee to your bank for using said ATM. This increase the bottom-line cost for the meal. 😡 👎👎👎

  3. I don’t know what General Tso did for the Chinese military but his chicken SLAPS! And let me tell you, ya can’t go wrong if you eat at the Hong Kong. Once a week my coworkers and I get the lunch special and ooooooooweeeeeee!!! Half the time I can’t even finish and I end up getting two meals out of it. All for under $10 😱

    crab rangoon had little to no filling, BBQ pork was dry and tough, basil leaves with chicken was chicken and vegetables covered in hoisen sauce with the basil completely omitted. called to get my dish remade with, yanno, basil like asked, and we were told there are Thai options but this isn’t a Thai restaurant. spent way too much money for not what I ordered.

    Food was very skimpy and not good at all the crab Ragu didn’t have any filling at all this was my first time and last. I don’t recommend it. Please don’t waste your money. This is literally what I got.

    The veggie egg rolls were disgusting and seemed old. The only thing that made them edible was the sweet-and-sour sauce. I was excited about the spider roll until I started eating it. The spider roll was disgusting as well. On the menu they make the sushi look so fresh but this sushi was clearly not fresh and probably prepared 2 days previous. The shrimp fried rice was OK but had no flavor unless you add soy sauce the string beans were good. The staff also tapped on the counter with her pen while I was looking over the menu as if she was urging me to hurry up.

    My go to place for sushi. Firecracker and Godzilla roll are my favs. I’m not into the raw kinds just yet. Food is always fast and fresh. They also deliver and it’s not too much. Make sure you get spicy Mayo ok the side. You can sit in as while. Kids friendly.

    The food is really good here. My significant other and I love Chinese food and have it often. Yet, the food is not always great at other restaurants. Except for here!!! 😋😋😋

    The only Chinese food I eat. In fact we had this for dinner tonight! Highly recommend the egg rolls, shrimp fried rice, crab Rangoon and sweet & sour chicken. I’ve been coming here 20+ years and my order has always been fresh and accurate!

    !!!!!!!!!NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY!!!!! If it was possible to leave 0 starts I would. Made an order approx 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, we spoke to a nice woman on the phone while ordering as we have a special needs child and had to explain if it was possible to get peapod chicken but have the peapod on the side due to our sons sensory issues. She was so kind and accommodating and even recommended we ask for no garlic! As SHE mentioned “we wouldn’t want him not to eat it” and we thanked her! She was awesome. Now whoever the woman is dealing with actual costumers in person…is horrific! We walked in and right away she began to lecture us “you don’t do that” “you get peapod chicken no vegetable next time” kept repeating to us “don’t do that again” we explained to her as well WHY we ordered the way we needed to…she told us “I don’t care next time no vegetable” we let her know we won’t be coming back as we normally go to lung wahs in Hammond where they ALWAYS accommodate someone’s sensory issues. Trying to rip off a family with a large order. If I’m paying for a large peapod chicken why do YOU get to withhold the vegetables I’m paying for? It’s included in the menu! With the price! costumers training needs to be provided

    I very much enjoy the food here. I’ve never been disappointed with the flavor. It is a cash only business. I like the atmosphere and the Chinese decor inside. The staff is very friendly as well.

    They used to be a very good Chinese restaurant now they’re giving people can shrimps with they food it don’t even taste like shrimps just horrible

    Never, not a penny. He (mr hong) only takes cash. Not a sign anywhere just embarrasment after a $50 order and no way to pay in cash no atm, no cards.. i have to ask why? Are his all women, barely english speaking, staff getting their unemployment and social security paid? There’s no excuse in this day and age that is not suspect for this kind of book keeping b.s. not to mention that there’s probably no sign cuz he’s afraid of getting robbed of all that cash!!!! grow up mr hong and fly right we need your taxes paid and your staff properly taken care of to give you one penny of our hard earned, taxes paid on, cash. And if what you are doing is legit, post a sign in your window so we know b4 we come in what you are all about— and invite the long overdue oversight and audit your business is due
