Be it their supply and quantity of items may be limited though for it is a small store. Do feel free to stop by such a store though for the relatively unique selections and options. They are ripping us off here in Folsom with their higher prices in the Folsom store because people in Folsom average a higher wage. This Folsom Walmart is packed with lots of stuff. The vibe is the senior citizens. It feels like Walmart keeps the store stocked for them. This Makes it a Win Win for Everyone Else. Only Suggestion Widen a few cosmetic aisles and smooth out the inclined parking lot. I bet their carts roll away often & hit cars because it was a struggle for me to keep my shopping cart in place while unloading it and it wasn’t even full… I can imagine an older person needing assistance on the steep parts of the parking lot.

Prices are good. There were plenty of check outs open. My checker today was exceptionally nice. There was a large quantity and variety of second day bakery items. I was able to get some hard to find items like whole chilies and dark chocolate cocoa that I needed to make my mother’s birthday celebration just right. The lay out is much more efficient than other Walmarts or Winco. I like that I don’t have to cross the whole store to get to the groceries. Plenty of parking was available as well. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot.
Way better than Rancho Cordova Walmart! Way cleaner bathrooms, way more items to choose from.🤗
While the Walmart itself is your standard fare big box American superstore, there is one particular element that makes this Walmart an absolute destination. That element is a man named Doug. Known as “Bulldoug” to his close friends, Doug singlehandedly raises the bar for all other retail employees across this great country with his friendly demeanor, wonderful customer service, and outstanding facial hair. He represents the last stand in American hospitality. Everyone I know called this store “Dougmart,” because that’s all we care about.
