What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Gigantic parking spaces. Charging stations. The store is huge and has more than the average Walmart store. That said, it does look old inside: the floors, the lights, etc. Employees were mostly nice and okay to interact with. Even though the store was nice, their selection of organic products was very limited.

  2. I don’t really go to Walmart to often but l should. They have so many things in this super store. I guess to be honest it just takes a while to get threw the long lines l just don’t have the time. Here are some great finds at this store.

  3. Unfortunately, I didn`t like my experience with Walmart. I ordered online 5 bags of Milorganite fertilizer 6-4-0. Day late I received email they 2 bags short and are suggesting to replace with Sunniland 6-6-6 Lawn Fertilizer, which has completely different formula. Before I picked my order up, I stopped by at the garden department and was surprised to see 5 bags of needed item simply located on the shelves (the picture is attached). I could easily just buy it. But since my pick up is waiting for me – I went there. The lady brought to me 5 bags of fertilizer, but two of them were Sunniland they replaced. I asked her why it was replaced, when you do have it on the shelves right now at the garden department. She said, they know. What`s the answer!? So, Walmart tried to rid off no needed items this way.
I picked up my three bags only and went back to the garden department and bought two more bags by wasting time with online pick up.
If you ever get a message from Walmart of the shortage on your order – go inside and check the store first before you picked it up.
For me – I will go to Home Depot next time. I never had such experience before.

  4. anytime i do a curbside pickup for groceries. i am still somehow waiting just as long as i would if i went inside to check out. i am currently waiting to pick up my order and it has been 35 minutes, meanwhile someone has pulled up next to me, waited five minutes and received their order. definitely one of the worse walmarts i have been to.

update: i just got home and the dish soap i was given, the cap broke off and dish soap spilt in the bag.

  5. Horrible horrible place. Rude employees that refuse to help you. There are always outs of items perit their shelves are never full of anything. Their prices are skyrocketing and Publix is cheaper in many items than they are. Very unclean.

Found a Lego set on clearance. Scanned it at self checkout. It came up as full price. The supervisor said she can’t give it to me at the clearance price, proceeded to peel off the clearance price tag and take the Lego set with her so I couldn’t have any evidence of the price. As I was talking to her I also noticed that all of the candy next to self checkout is mislabelled and at the wrong prices. No one there knew where anything was and didn’t care about your shopping experience. The complete opposite of Walmarts in swfl.

Staff is incredibly rude. Cashiers often close lines just as you reach the front, so I started using scan-and-go only to be told I had too many items in my cart to use self-checkout. But scan-and-go requires the use of self-checkout. Going to go back to publix. Walmart just isn’t worth the hassle.

This place is a disaster. The store is relatively new and ok, but the staff is far and away the rudest I’ve ever encountered. They regularly close the customer service desk, often while an employee is sitting behind playing on his phone. I had an item come up with the wrong price and they told me I would have to return THE NEXT DAY to be refunded the difference 🤣 This place is a joke.

Nice store…..clean, friendly employees, big so has everything you need. Only 1 cashier normally, so if you can do self check out, which I do, enjoy shopping

Oof, I’m not much a review person but the customer service at this Walmart was horrendous – I spoke to 4 different associates just trying to find a location for a specific product (I had even looked it up myself online before asking and was looking for directions for aisle k29 as the signs stop at k27) the First Lady pointed to the back wall however we still couldn’t find anything so there was a gentleman working in the kitchenware aisle near the back wall and he would not speak to me, I asked him if this was aisle 29 and he said “no” and continued on as I stood there waiting for him to maybe help locate the aisle, so I asked again if he knew where it was this time and he ignored every word and continued on with what he was doing, I went up to the front to find someone in customer service and there was a lady standing with an empty cart so I asked her “can I ask you a question” and I got “I guess” and so I found another younger lady working near the cooler section/bbq – and she was the only one that was genuinely willing to help us find some ice packs. She brought us to two spots, she was kind and very helpful, after such a poor experience with all the other associates (that are being paid to help customers) she was a breath of fresh air and who you would want to be helping your customers. Kudos and thanks to her – I wish I had gotten her name to recognize her more directly.

This Publix is well stocked. The sushi is fresh and they accommodate special requests. My favorite section is UTZ Chips, every flavor just like up north. So glad to be able to purchase in the south!

This store was great but now it has become bad to worse especially in the customer service at the deli. All kinds of procedures that they employees don’t follow , I’m shocked and also shopping somewhere else!

I love Publix in general and used to love my neighborhood Publix, but in the past year I have watched it decline more and more to the point where I will now take my business to another Publix or even another grocery store altogether. Produce is awful! Brown cauliflower week after week (and at $4.99 forget it!). I bought a chopped ceaser mix, and the date was good for another 10 days. When I mixed it, it turned pink! I love Propel water, I have been buying it there for years, and suddenly, they seem to never have any! This isn’t about supply issues anymore because other Publix stores seem to have all of these items and more! This is a management issue. I am so incredibly disappointed. They also removed the scale from the front entrance of the store where a lot of people would weigh themselves. This has always been a great health idea, in my opinion, especially for those who can’t afford a scale and suffer from diabetes, obesity, heart disease, etc. What happened to my neighborhood Publix?????

Please see attached picture, this was an apple “Coffee Cake” (strudel) that I bought today from the Publix bakery. As you can see, it is raw on the bottom. (Yes, I returned it and got my money back.) But someone who doesn’t know any better is going to eat this and get sick if something isn’t done to correct this. Unfortunately, this is not the only product in the bakery that I’ve brought home only to find that it was raw. Oftentimes, their muffins are undercooked in the middle as well. I know this is not the Boynton location’s fault. These products are baked at a central Publix distribution bakery and then shipped to the individual Publix stores. But someone in management has GOT to say something to the main Publix bakery distribution center. This is not a new occurrence, this has been going on for years. I shouldn’t have to go to Walmart’s bakery to buy a thoroughly cooked strudel. I hate to admit this, but Walmart’s strudel is AMAZING! Plus, Publix charges $6 for their raw strudel, whereas Walmart only charges $4 for their perfectly baked, light, and tasty strudel. Please, Publix management, say something to your main distribution bakery to fix this. I know they can do better than Walmart if they care enough to try.

Go early in AM in season (November-May). Plentiful parking. It is best to bring your own bags. Offers personal checkout for guests. Will assist with items to car and cart returns. Clean store. Good produce choices, friendly interaction, and service with deli staff, seafood staff, and stocking staff should you need help finding items. The Publix app is great. You can search each section of the food market for sale items, and it will navigate you to the aisle you need. Well stocked. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Plethora of food choices. No self check out but has full service. Clean and easy to navigate.
