  1. Very disappointed with this meal. Me and my family use to go here on a regular basis. The corn chowder used to have a different color, consistency and flavor. It was cool and it lacked flavor. It used to be one of the best corn chowders in this state. The carrot muffin was undercooked and mushy. We used to buy a 6 to 8 pack of muffins to go they were so good. I know the franchise was bought several years ago but DO NOT CHANGE THE RECIPES. Going to cafeteria grade of food was the wrong choice. Fire the chef and get some competency back in the restaurant. Spruce up the tables and your furniture because they are falling apart. Go back to your old food and this 1978 franchise might make it to 2030. If not this franchise will fall like the rest of the sad chains from the Covid era and beyond.

  2. I have had my eye on this place for years and finally decided to try it. It was empty for us during brunch. My partner and I ordered two mimosas and they were okay. We got the spinach art dip and the bread was cold but the dip was good. I ordered the burger with the garlic parmesan bun and it was great but my partner didn’t enjoy her breakfast sandwich and the potatoes were hard and cold. We love brunch spots but I unfortunately won’t return to this one.

  3. I’ve been here several times in the past. I don’t know how I managed to not to review this restaurant before.

This was a birthday celebration. And he lived up to every expectation. My wife and I we’re being treated by my mother-in-law. That was very sweet thing for her to do. And the restaurant really added a lot of festivity to the event.

We got mimosas, and enjoyed a fantastic plate of eggs benedict as well as a delicious omelette and split a blueberry muffin. The food was delightful.

The waitstaff was very nice and wanted to make sure that we had a great time. Mission accomplished!

If you’re looking for a great breakfast or brunch out, stop by Mimi’s. The muffins are fantastic. They have a great menu which includes eggs benedict, corned beef hash and eggs, and a variety of baked goods including muffins that just make your mouth water.

    Give it a try!

  4. Great French Onion soup. I have been to Mimi’s in Phoenix. This one is just as good.
    Great breakfast here.
Caught it after lunch crush. In and out with good service.
    Quaint atmosphere.

  5. I recommend you come out to Mimi’s Cafe! Excellent service by our waitress Jessica. She went above and beyond in making our experience a pleasure. Mimi’s is definitely the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Albuquerque. Our food was very delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Delicious good and excellent service. The Nosh board is so worth it and big in size for the price. The spicy chocolate on there is the best! The new bacon wrapped figs were crispy, salty and sweet. Everything felt priced accurately for the value and quality of the food. And the wines were great – our server was so helpful in pairing. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful ambiance. I was on my own and sat at the bar for dinner and a glass of wine. Had pistachio pesto pasta with shrimp and a glass of semillon. The pasta was very good, but I probably shouldn’t have added the shrimp – too far inland. The wine was a great pairing with the pasta. The bartender was great and made me feel comfortable.

Came here to have a late lunch and was greeted immediately by the host. The inside decor was very nice and included a wine bar near the front entrance. Upon being seated we were offered a wine sampling by the waiter along with bread and herb butter. Because I was eating late my party and I split an appetizer and an entree salad. Everything tasted wonderful (the steak was cooked perfectly) and our waiter was so attentive. I definitely will come back for dinner and dessert and to try some of the wine pairings.

I remember when this was St Claire Winery, and its still along the same line as that. The host staff was a bit rough around the edges, maybe just having a bad day? Definitely not the personable type. The waiter was great though, and overall had a good experience. Great place for wine drinkers.

I had been to this winery before when I was in town and enjoyed it. We stopped in for a wine flight. I had the Limited Release flight and it was a fun flight of three wines that are in limited supply. The Petit Sirah had aggressive tannins- if not tannins something was aggressive. The Petit Verdot was smooth and fruit forward. I loved the Cabernet Franc. It tasted as described-robust, velvety, earth. We ate light and the food was tasty.

Great first experience at La Madeleine. 🙂 Original plan was to get breakfast food, but after reviewing the menu, I really wanted to have some of their famous tomato soup, and pasta! Boy was it good! My husband opted to stick with breakfast food, and got the cinnamon roll French toast, and he enjoyed it! Absolutely love the French bread, and the tomato soup was a 10/10. The girl who checked us out, and served us, was absolutely the sweetest, and had a great smile and attitude. She let me “taste test” the tomato soup before buying, and you can’t beat good service. Thanks La Madeleine!

We’ve been frequenting this place since we travel to Albuquerque a lot. Their breakfast is very good, good prices, friendly staff, lots of parking & convenient location. Dining area was clean, lots of room for kids or wheelchairs. Bread was fresh. Highly recommend.

We walked in at 8:20 and the employees were already shutting down the restaurant. The food was as good as any other La Madeleine restaurant. The tomato basil soup with a sandwich is my go to. Thank you restaurant chains for keeping me alive in Albuquerque. The family owned businesses can’t keep up with flavor and quality. Bon appetite!

The French onion soup was fantastic. The ham and Swiss cheese on a crassunt was very tasty. The tomato basil soup with quiche was fantastic. Service was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. We will be returning!

They had no espresso to go with my order, only decaf. Food was good, bread was soft and crunchy on the edges. Croissant was flaky and well balanced with food.
