  I can’t say enough good things in one review about Jukido Academy! I want to start off by saying that Sensei George Rego is FANTASTIC at what he does. He is so patient, kind, respectful & understanding. The dojo is set up very nicely, is so clean, and there is soft padding on the floor that keeps the students safe while being instructed. All of the students are very engaged, focused and determined. One of the many things that won me over in deciding to have my oldest son become a part of the Jukido Academy family was the fact that the older students are so very helpful during lessons with the younger students. Every student I have met has been kind, respectful & welcoming to my son & our family. All the students are expected to help each other during the practicing of Sensei’s instructions. Sensei George & his other instructors are fun, energetic and 100% engaged at all times. The children’s program meets twice a week and my son wishes it was every night because he loves it so much. The Jukido Academy has already given my son so much! He is more confident, self-sufficient, well behaved, respectful, patient and shows so much more pride in the work that he does during homeschool lessons, too! I love the core values that are the driving force here at this Dojo. They don’t simply give out a new belt to a student simply because of attendance, so no “participation trophy”. A progression in belt color may only be achieved through hard work and mastering of the skill-set for which that belt requires. I also love the one week free trial that they offer in order to ensure that the Dojo is a good fit for the student and their family. The monthly rate is 100% affordable and the Dojo is completely transparent regarding pricing, schedules and what is expected from the student and family. As a homeschooling, budget-minded mom of three, I don’t like surprises, especially when it comes to $$. To be honest, the principles and values that my son has and will learn are priceless! Sensei George and the Jukido Academy have an open door policy and are very receptive to questions and concerns. I didn’t really know what Jujitsu entailed and what exactly my son would be learning, so Sensei sent me videos and then took the time to explain further regarding what I would expect. I couldn’t ask for a better instructor for my child & myself! I can tell that he is absolutely dedicated to the teachings of Jujitsu and I loved learning about this form of self defense. My son, Michael, is a unique child and is special needs. The fact that he has been made to feel welcome, proud of himself, and is flourishing at the Jukido Academy makes me so happy I could cry. So, in closing, if you are looking for a welcoming environment for your child(ren) to learn respect, self defense, discipline, honor, integrity, service before self, friendship, restraint, strength, humility and kindness, Jukido Academy is exactly what you’ve been looking for!   My daughter Athena just joined Jukido Academy and is already much happier there than the local karate class she was in for nearly 2 years. My wife and I really like that she has to earn her ranks and not just be given a participation trophy/belt after so many weeks. Sensei Rego is knowledgeable and truly dedicated to his art and his students. it’s easy to see that this dojo is all about the student’s progression and not about the tuition/fee, not to mention the prices are very fair.

  Both my son and I have been long time students of the Jukido Academy. Our experience with Sensei Rego has been incredible, on and off the mats. There’s a reason why the Jukido Academy is the longest running martial arts school in Flagler County and the surrounding area. It is simply the best.

  If you want your child to learn true martial arts, as well as self-defense, this academy is it! I have tried other studios, and they are all about making money 1st, then teaching. Master George Rego, treats his students like family. My daughter is 13, so since she’s so tall, we put her in with teenagers and adults. He made her feel very comfortable, as well as the other students. She learned more in one day, then the previous studio she had been at for a year. The monthly fee is beyond reasonable, and most importantly, Master George is an amazing instructor who communicates very well to all his students. He always takes time to talk with you about anything concerning your child. I’m just so happy we found this dojo, a family to be more accurate.❤️🥋

  As a member of the Spartan Jiu-Jitsu Academy for almost 2 years now and it’s been an amazingly healthy experience. Our Head Instructor Igor is an active IBJJF black belt competitor and teaches a systematic curriculum taking you through all the positions, controls and submissions of both modern Jiu-Jitsu and traditional (old school) Jiu-Jitsu. The gym mats and restrooms are kept very clean. There’s always plenty of space to train, and with the flexible class schedule I can train morning, afternoons or nights if I choose too, 5 days a weeks and (open mat Sat) Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is for the whole family as there are classes for all ages and skill levels. In addition, your fellow training partners are the best group of people you can find. All committed students working together to improve their own Jiu-Jitsu. As a fellow student myself, I enthusiastically invite anyone curious about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to come visit us. We welcome all and Jiu-Jitsu is truly for anyone.

  This place is AMAZING! My teenage daughter loves taking classes here. The coaches are very knowledgeable and passionate. They always go above and beyond and take great care of the kids. Their administrator is fantastic too. She keeps the entire operation running smoothly and is always there for the parents.The facility is spacious, tastefully done, and extremely clean. Highly recommend.

  My twins have been training at Spartan’s for almost 2 years now. They love it!! It’s a great place for the entire family to train Jiu-Jitsu. Very clean & welcoming environment.whether you’re a beginner or already advanced, there are classes and people for all the different levels. Once you walk through the doors you are with the family. The instructors Igor and Ryan are top-level professionals and legit human beings, with no egos 🙌🏾 and sooooo good with kids 🥰 10/10 would recommend spartan Academy to anyone of any age who is trying to learn self-defense or get a six pack 😄

  After the pandemic lockdown, I had gained a lot of weight. Then, I had started BJJ here and lost almost 40lbs! Not only that, I won three championships! One of them at the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF)! The Professor not only teaches great techniques, he also teaches and practices great discipline. Totally glad to be a part of the Spartan Academy team!

  I’ve been training at Spartan Academy for close to 2 years, the environment is amazing and can be enjoyed by anyone from an absolute beginner to a seasoned competitor. The coaches are great, really get to know each student, and push everyone to be their best self. If you live in the area and have been wanting to give Brazilian jiu jitsu a try, or if you’re visiting from out of town and want to get some rolls in, Spartan is THE place to go!
