  1. Popped into town for a few weeks from Virginia and stopped by this gym based on reviews. I’ve been training for a little over a year and wanted to get in a couple of classes while here.

    Cody was very welcoming, informative, and gave a great class. All the other members of the gym were friendly and welcoming as well. The manager reached out to me immediately after I inquired about visiting a few more times while in town. He too was very helpful and accommodating. Can’t wait for a few more classes and will definitely be making this the gym I attend whenever in town.

  2. Had the pleasure of training here for a couple of months while in town for my job. The staff is welcoming and helpful no matter what level of training you have. Would highly recommend if looking for a gym in the Tucson area.

  3. An amazing place to train!

    Instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and work hard to make the journey a positive experience. When I first started, I had no experience in any of the grappling arts, so they really made sure I had a good grasp of the fundamentals. They continue to observe my technique, giving me suggestions to help me improve. And they are always approachable — questions are welcome and encouraged.

    There’s also a strong sense of community. I always feel supported by the other members; everyone is there to help everyone else. One day after class when my car wouldn’t start, several members came out to help. And since the gym was closing, Aaron (the owner) even gave me a key to let myself in, while I waited for a tow truck!

    I absolutely love this place and the vibe! They really made me feel welcome the first day and everyday after.

  4. Awesome atmosphere, great instruction. Everybody is kind but works hard. New to BJJ and this place is one of the reasons why I’ll be continuing this journey!

    This is the best place!! There’s a place for everyone!! Jiu-Jitsu teaches you so much! The professors André , Albert, Enrique and Al are the best. They really help you understand and keep you motivated. While learning skills you are also getting in shape and sharpening your mind. This place and all of the wonderful people in it have helped me change myself mentally and physically. I am learning more than I thought possible.     Amazing place for kids to learn self defense. My daughter loves this place. She always has a lot of fun and learns a lot. The coaches are great. Very friendly, and professional. Definitely recommend…..

    Undisputed is a fantastic gym! I did a free trial class in Muay Thai along with my 19 yo son. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, from the staff at the front to other members and the teacher. I was happily surprised that there were zero pressure tactics after the class to get us to join. Both my son and I have been participating in the Muay Thai classes for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. John is an amazing teacher, supportive of beginners all the way to competitors and pushing everyone to excel at the level they’re at. Everyone is friendly and I really like the family owned atmosphere that is apparent everywhere. There are plenty of options for classes so it’s possible to work into a full schedule. Undisputed has my whole hearted recommendation.

    I came to Undisputed for two months while we were staying in Tucson for the winter. Blown away by the community, the kindness, and the quality of the training. I focused on muay thai and Coach John was one of the best muay thai trainers I have worked with. I have spent time training in the land of muay thai, Thailand, as well as other gyms in the US and Canada, and John’s attention to detail, passion, and patience is top notch. I also loved Josh’s boxing classes when I needed a break from the spicy muay thai. I will absolutely be back, and know where to travel to when I need to fine-tune my skills!

    John Bassford is an incredible teacher. With his help my frozen shoulder quickly improved. He also taught be the basics of Muay Thai in a fun and accessible way. Everyone is very friendly – highly recommended!!

    Trained here for years before moving away and I look forward to dropping in whenever I am in town to visit. Hands down the best gym I’ve ever trained at. Coaches are fantastic and there’s something for everyone. Strength training, Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling even Yoga if you’re into that sort of thing 😉 I miss the people and the classes here every day.
