  1. My family and I were on vacation visiting from New York City and The Gregor Gracie Acadamy. I brought my kids in for a visit to train as guests in their No-Gi kids class. The whole facility is very impressive, super clean and well laid out. Everyone was super welcoming and treated us like family! Roger and Jerry are great instructors and my kids learned some great new techniques to take with them back home. I’m sure if you live in the area, making Gracie Barra a permanent home is a no brainer but if you’re like us and just visiting Orlando and need a temporary place to train, definitely put this place on top of your list!

  2. I came to Orlando for vacation with my family and I had the awesome opportunity and experience of training at Gracie Barra Orlando, and meeting Prof. Roger, his staff, and students. From the first moment I walked in and stepped foot on the mats, they made me feel like home.   3. First and foremost I’d like to thank Professor Roger Santos and his team for taking me in for a no gi class while I was in town. The is a great school with greater people. If you’re interested in BJJ and are in the Orlando area I would highly recommend them. Fast paced fun and fundamental BJJ with great people. They were very welcoming and it was a privilege to work with them. I most certainly will make other visits while in town. Thank you!

  4. Professor Roger is an exceptional teacher who showed me such great hospitality opening the mats for me to help prepare for the Pans. Great place to train if you live in the area and a great place to visit when on Orlando if you need a place to train.

  5. Gracie Barra Orlando is by far one of the best Jiu-jitsu academies I’ve visited. Some teammates and I from Renzo Gracie New Hampshire were down in the Orlando area for the IBJFF PANs competition and were in search of a place to train away from home. Their facilites are top-notch, well equiped, and very clean, but most importantly, very welcoming.

    Professors Roger and Jerry were gracious hosts. The moment we walked through the door, they made us feel like we were a part of their team. The same can be said for the teammates at Gracie Barra Orlando, while training not once did I feel like an outsider to the academy. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for a home academy to train out of or somebody on the road in need of a place to drop in for a few sessions.

    Listen… the level of professionalism and attention shown to the kids in the 5pm sessions is unparalleled with any other place we’ve been. The patience that each of the coaches shows with each and every one of the kids in session is amazing. I’ve seen at least 5 and they are all very patient and very knowledgeable in each discipline they teach! They take their time to explain technique, have no problem teaching the kids discipline, and they are all great role models for them. We’ve been here for almost 3 months now and it’s like a family. We came to one of the weekend events and the whole vibe was like being at a good friends backyard barbecue-in a good way! We are so happy we found The Jungle MMA fitness. I give the camaraderie, the coaches, the whole system 5 stars and highly recommended if you are looking for great training for children in multiple disciplines. They also have amazing adult programs which one of these days I’ll finally sign up for! Thanks for making this a positive experience and place for our kids to learn about discipline, self-defense, and offer great growth opportunities.

    I definitely want to leave some input from a parents perspective. We’ve kept my daughter busy from an early age and started with Victory Martial Arts in Lake Nona ..that was a great intro but some coach changes ruined the experience for us and turned more into a kiddie play session with a coach more interested in showing off his awesome karate kicks. After a brief stint at a well known gymnastics facility in altamonte that also turned into a joke we decided to pull our daughter out and look for something else closer by. We ended up at the Jungle because of reviews and I wanted a legit facility, they are operated by some professional fighters and have active professional fighters so I was hoping they took training seriously. My 5 year old daughter has grown immensely in skill level and confidence since joining this gym. She’s learning true fighting techniques that could save her life at some point in the future and is learning respect/discipline because of the methods Coach Alec applies. As a parent I prefer that the little gorillas classes are a good mix of strict training with a little fun mixed in to tire the kids out with fundamentals in Muay Thai & Jiu Jitsu. They get a lot in during the half hour class. During spring break we were fortunate enough to accidentally show up for a cancelled class and the coaches didn’t turn us away, Coach Alec spent his personal time giving a private lesson to my daughter and I’m very thankful for that. It was very cool and not at all expected from myself or my wife at all. Overall this has been a very positive experience and I’m glad I chose this gym for my little girl.

    We’ve had our three kids enrolled at The Jungle for the last two years and we wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! All of the coaches are fantastic. Coach Alec always knows what kind of coaching each kid needs on any given day, whether they need tough love, gentle encouragement or just a hype man. We’ve seen amazing physical, mental and emotional growth in each of our kids, thanks in large part to the coaches. We live in Windermere and drive 30+ minutes each way 3-4 days per week. I’m sure there are good gyms closer to home, but we know it wouldn’t compare to The Jungle.

    The Jungle is the best, when I moved here from NY I was nervous about starting mma and finding a good gym that cared about me and would really help me become great at this sport. Jungle is more than I could’ve asked for and is genuinely a family with so many welcoming people, all the coaches are thorough and care for you. Highly recommend joining the Jungle.

    Amazing gym for those who want to pick up martial arts for fitness all the way to those who want to pursue a pro fighting career. I visited Jungle MMA to keep training during the holidays and met some amazing friends and coaches to learn more skills from. Looking forward to singing up every time I’m in Orlando.

    I was referred her by Marcos Olivera. He trained here in preparation for winning world championships. This place wa huge, clean an professional. Everyone was gentle and sweet.     I highly recommend this academy for anyone who is looking to take up Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu. Fabin Rosa also offers Muay Thai and Cross fit. It’s a family friendly environment for kids of all ages. My family and I try to train 3 times a week. What I really like about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is that it’s a great workout that doesn’t feel like a workout because your mind is occupied trying to learn the technique. We truly enjoy our time here.
