  1. As a loving parent of two Brazilian jiu-jitsu students, I care about the facility’s cleanliness, safety and overall atmosphere, as well as the faculty members’ professionalism, knowledge of the sport, and their hearts for the students.

    *This brand new gym features a fresh-scented interior with a glass-walled kids room/ private coaching room at the deeper side of the mat, allowing new moms with loud babies to be present while their older kids can attend their class.

    *In case you didn’t have time to change into your Gi, they have a changing room aside from their two bathrooms.

    *Instructors Rodrigo and Monique are powerful yet gentle teachers. You will love their respectful and passionate coaching style, they are amazing.
    I saw younger students being built up not only physically but also emotionally as well.

    *Danielle is one of the owners and she has a heart for the jiu-jitsu community. She too is a jiu-jitsu mom, and she loves to help unifying other families through the sport.

    We love bringing our boys to this gym and I want you to take your whole family here to see what I’m talking about!

  2. This academy is phenomenal! From the culture it fosters, to the amazing techniques taught. The professors are amazing, high level competitors and practitioners. They invest in their students and build a family environment. The owners are amazing and very welcoming. My daughter has excelled in this sport and it’s all thanks to the professors and the team. If you are looking to build mental and physical strength/technique, I highly recommend you stop and check them out!

  3. This gym is truly incredible, you will not be disappointed!! First off – the facility is absolutely beautiful, plenty of mat space and extremely clean. There are multiple restrooms, changing rooms and even a shower. The coaching is about as high level as it gets, professor Rodrigo is a world class competitor and truly cares and loves his students. Lastly, it’s the most welcoming gym I’ve ever been to, you’re greeted by your first name every time you walk in and it truly feels like a family environment.

  4. I’ve witnessed Rodrigo and Monique pour into their students out of passion for the sport, and it’s incredible! Learning under them has been an exciting experience. I’ve watched them make Jiu-Jitsu fun for the little ones while simultaneously teaching them important skills. Danyelle and Joe never fall short of making the gym hospitable. Amazing gym overall

  5. Rodrigo and Monique have dedicated their lives to the game. I’ve had the pleasure to train with them for 2 years now. I’m constantly inspired and motivated by the work they put into their students and themselves. They are always leading from the front and are genuinely great people. I’ve seen them routinely clock 70+ hours a week into training, coaching, refing, and competing. There is no one I’d rather have in my corner.

    My kid has been attending to Mudo martial arts for a couple of months now and I could not be happier with our experience. Not only do the students learn the art of Tae Kwon Do but also learn; discipline, respect of self and others, as well as focus that goes beyond just their Tae Kwon Do classes. My son takes such pride in earning each belt and has been extremely proud of being Master Daniel’s alumni. He has learned that it takes time and hard work to achieve a goal, and that it is all worth it. He is learning to be a leader and how to start passing on the knowledge he has learned. I can not thank Mudo Martial Arts enough for giving my son both physical as well as mental confidence in himself, which is so important in this time of uncertainty and increased reliance on technology. Master Daniel and staff do an awesome job of balancing the teaching of a new skill, with also having fun. I am so happy to have found this dojo and would recommend them to anyone ……also!! Master Daniel’s mom is sweet and nice! Comprehensive and respectful.

    This is a great Martial Arts school. The instructor (Dan) and his staff are awesome. Master Dan himself his very respectful, knowledgeable and professional. The classes are well run and all the kids I see come in have smiles on their faces. I needed an activity to enroll my nephew in since he was always at home just playing video games and was very shy. At first he was nervous and didn’t want to go but after a couple weeks of classes we saw a real improvement in his attitude and confidence. Dan also invests personally in the children’s education and anything else their parents request. They have periodic belt tests and that’s the chance the parents get to ask Dan to address any issues they need help with at home or in school. Dan always makes an effort for help in any way he can. I would highly recommend this establishment for any parent looking for an great social outlet for their kid to get involved in and learn about self defense all while making new friends and learning how interact socially.

    Our daughter just loves this place. She is always ready to come back. Currently two days a week but she would wanna be here everyday. So for sure something is really good here. Instructors are nice and help understand the activities. Finally we got the latest $99 for 9 weeks offer. Great one to start with and already planning to continue with their usual curriculum. Surely recommend.

    My philosophy is that as the cycle of life continues we must do are best to make sure our kids come out better than we ever could . Placing my daughter in Mudo Martial arts is by far the greatest decision I have ever made and I couldn’t be more please with how much she has learned in such little time . The Instructor/Master and front desk personnel not only meet all my expectations – but raise the bar on discipline , educating and communicating with all there students as if they were there own . My attention was caught with the promotion of 9 weeks for a lil under 100 bucks .. after the 9 weeks were up , my daughter was sold and we signed up for the year plan . This facility has won them a life time student and I couldn’t be happier with this journey ! Even though the staff is very welcoming and loving they are true masters of discipline and make sure to teach their student honor and respect , not only in the class but also at home – making sure to keep in touch with their students grades at school and behavior at home .     Highly recommend it. My daughter learnt skills that she will never get from school or anywhere else. Self-defnese and way more skills. Master Daniel is strict and fun when needed. Your kid deserves to go to MU DO Martial Arts.

    This gym saved my life and the owners (Al & Vee) of this establishment not only provide authentic and traditional MT training but the atmosphere is completely family like and you’ll be hard pressed to find a gym as dedicated to the art of 8 limbs in the DFW area. It’s a little slice of Thailand in East Dallas and I simply refuse to learn striking anywhere else other than Rojas Muay Thai.

    This gym is awesome! My whole family trains here. It started with my son & daughter doing kids class, which motivated me & my husband to do Thai 30 fitness. We’ve moved to learning Traditional Muay Thai by coaches with legit credentials. The gym has a motivational atmosphere and coaches make you feel welcomed.

    This gym is purely amazing! Kru Al & Kumu Vee are both great people & teachers, they are kind, compassionate, yet know when to push you. The people at this gym resonate the same great vibes, as they welcome you with an open heart and are supportive, as you train.
