The instructors know what they’re doing and expertly guide each kiddo to achieve their potential. My kid loves it and her little sister is psyched to turn four so she can “finally” join. There are so many skills beyond cool ninja moves that the kids learn. Watching the little kids in class is fun. Seeing how polite and confident the older kids are is astounding.By Jessica Echterling (9 months ago)My daughter and my son have been students at this Karate school since February 2021. Both of the instructors (Mr. Loos, Mr. Koski) are professional, yet fun and outgoing. They are also easy to work with, and have good communication skills. My daughter’s self esteem and confidence, have greatly improved since she started Karate. And it’s a great way, for my son to burn off some energy. I was hesitant at enrolling my kids, due to some of their mental health concerns, but both instructors have been very patient, and understanding, which is hard to find these days. My son also had to miss some classes due to an injury at home, and the instructors worked with us around our schedule so he could make up the classes he missed. - Reviews:My 8 yo is very new to BJJ and he is loving it so far. Other gyms have the ratio of kids to coaches way too high. RGA has the opposite approach. Class sizes are much smaller and there is way less chaos. They can really give each kid a ton of individual observation and instruction. The difference is phenomenal. First of all, it was super clean and even had showers. Training was top notch. It had a smooth transition from technical to situational, and finally the rounds. It was a very inclusive environment, we felt welcomed and comfortable to ask questions. The teammates were respectful. This place is excellent. My buddy is a regular there, and I went to try it out with him over the holidays. Despite being a noob, I had a ton of fun and I actually managed to learn a thing or two.
The instructors were thorough, technical, and clearly very high level. But they still took the time to go around and help us all individually.
If I move back to Iowa, I’ll start rolling at no-coast for sure.
Such a wonderful place to train with amazing people, no matter your skill level this is the place to stop! Seriously go give it a try! Great kids program as well!
Also Jeff in there with a buzz cut is an easy take down, make sure to roll with him!
Great group of instructors and students here. I was in town visiting family and stopped in for a class and was very impressed with the space and the instructors. I felt very welcomed and I would definitely recommend to anyone to check this place out! Thank you No Coast!!
Joined No Coast almost 2 1/2 years ago. It is amazing place to train and meet wonderful people. Immediately felt welcomed by everyone and felt like part of the team.
Love how the schedule is for everyone. Primarily attending the 6am classes taught by Jordan, allows me to find a balance with family and work – getting more knowledge and skills in an hour class than I have from 2 hour classes training elsewhere.
Friday Open Mats are amazing and provide experience to roll and hang out with all of the other wonderful people from day and evening classes.
Jared has been incredibly impactful with private lessons teaching me concepts and techniques that have been able to achieve immediate results with in competition.
Jared and all the staff have grown such an amazing gym and culture. So happy it found me. Having so much fun and it honestly makes me a better person (spouse, parent, teacher, ect.).
Can not recommend the gym enough.
Dropped in on a class today. Super welcoming environment. Everyone was cool and approachable. The coaches were knowledgeable and helpful. Good spot to roll.
