  1. We took our son here after he expressed an interest in exploring Tae Kwon Do. His first few visits have only increased his enthusiasm. Watching the group and individual interactions confirms that the instructors are great with kids. The location works well for us and the scheduling options offer a great deal of flexibility for busy families.

  2. Our son is a new student and loves it so far, its all he talks about. We chose TMA Tae Kwon Do based on our neighbors high praise and they weren’t wrong. The instructors are fantastic and work well with children

  3. The instructor works really well with my son and Christine did really good explaining what they offer and how taekwondo helps in every way! I love that the days and time are flexible and they can work around my busy schedule! And it’s literally down the street, can’t beat that at all!

  4. I enrolled my son into TMA as a beginner and he loves it. It’s great place for your kids to start Tae Kwon Do for your kid. The team is very friendly and very energetic environment for your kid. We love it.

  5. We have joined 2 of the 3 intro classes, with the 3rd soon. First impressions are the staff is so very welcoming and friendly. They made my child feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in. They seem to have a genuine love and excitement for their craft and it’s contagious. We look forward to joining the TMA crew.

Master Amir is training my three children. We are delighted to have arrived at his facility. It’s incredible how disciplined and beneficial his methods are. He incorporates all of the children and ensures that the training sessions are carried out with humor, fun, and the pupils’ undivided attention. My children’s personality, determination, and desire to be active are being encouraged greatfully. A factory for teaching self-confidence, respect for oneself and others, and working as part of a team, with the rest of the team motivating and saying, “You can do it.” To be honest, you are doing a fantastic job. Not to forget the facility is spacious and well equipped. Thank you

My son just had his first class today and absolutely loved it! We joined immediately. He loved his instructor and is extremely happy to start his Taekwondo journey! The Instructor was awesome, very patient with the kids, makes sure they all understand what they’re supposed to be doing, and insures they all show respect and be well mannered.

Master Amir really brings the best out of the kids. My 5yr old is a bit reserved and just loves the playful but focused teaching style. He trusts Master Amir and is so excited for every class.

Master Amir makes lessons fun for the kids, incorporating fun, while also instilling self-confidence and patience. He makes sure each to take time with each child to make sure they understand new lessons and holds them accountable for their practice and development

Awesome activity for kids; aside from the physical training and exercise they teach young kids confidence, respect, determination and other important values in a fun, playful but disciplined learning environment. Master Amir is awesome with his patience, playfulness and individualized approach to each student. My daughter is always excited to go to her taekwondo class and showed improvement in her physical, social and emotional skills since she started her classes. Highly recommended for all parents and kiddos!

Our son has been with Reding for 6+ years now. Professors Mark, Larry, Steve, and coach Ashley are fantastic. Professor Larry’s Monday BJJ Competition class is our must attend appointment for the week. Larry has cornered for us in several tournaments in the DFW area and, win or lose, his encouragement to our son is to put himself out there. Professor Mark has a way with teaching kids that is pretty special to watch. Whether in a class setting or a private lesson you get the sense that he really loves your kid. Mark’s Thursday beginner BJJ class gives our son the opportunity to impart his 6 years of learning to the young kids an lower belts. It’s great to watch him teach a little 5 year old beginner how to take him down, put him in side control, and start working for an Americana! 🙂 Sensei Steve and Coach Ashley run the Saturday morning Judo Comp class. They’ve fostered an competitive environment giving the kids lot’s of confidence and tons of skill to go along with strength training. Our kids medal in every tournament and bring home trophies but most of all they have fun and love working together. The team also gets to teach beginners and lower belts at the Thursday beginner class. All in all, Reding Martial Arts is a family. We love it and we love to have y’all join us! Come learn something.

Love for jiujitsu started here! Absolutely the best environment to grow! I didn’t know how mentally and physically stabilizing the right academy, filled with right people can be! This team is absolutely amazing. Oh, & the woman’s open mat, you should find yourself there!

I’m new to jujitsu and Reding Martial Arts has been a great place to jump in and learn. ALL the professors are outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming, there’s a place for everyone from wanting to compete to self defense, to self improvement. They also have a women’s open mat which is pretty awesome. Highly recommend RMA.

Highly recommend checking Reding out whether you’re looking for yourself or your child. Most of my experience is with the kids’ classes, and being a youth coach myself in a different sport, it was so refreshing to see coaches truly engaging with the kids like this! They keep classes engaging and fun, but also maintain order so that the kids are actually learning and progressing in their skills each class. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere and great location!

I would’ve loved to train here but $300+fees/month is just way too high for my price range. They try to get you into a 4 month contract so you stick with it, but it seems more like a predatory work practice to fool those who are new to fighting. Aside from the price, I think the gym seems okay otherwise. Only one heavy bag, but they do have nice mats and kick shields. There is also a small weight lifting area for conditioning. I didn’t see any trophies, which isn’t a great sign. One of the sparring partners I had there had quite the temper, but the rest were very nice. If you’re made of money and prefer grappling to striking I would recommend Reding. Not very beginner friendly.
