  1. Can’t say enough about how wonderful the instructors are at the Bay Parkway Brooklyn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu location. They are a perfect mixture of fun and discipline, and my son LOVES going to class. Not only is it a great workout but also the best way to teach young kids patience and understanding.

  2. When I first signed up one of the instructors from this location reached out and was eager to help me reach my goals. A year and a half later, both the respect and knowledge I’ve gained from each instructor for both Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing has been invaluable. I love the adherence to tradition while still remaining modern in a growing art.

  3. I can’t say enough about this dojo. It has helped my son to have more confidence in his abilities to excel in school and his life at home. If you want a sense of community this is the dojo to be at. The adult classes are great. The Ali and his instructors are awesome. They will help you find your inner strength physically and mentally. If you are looking for a place that gives you this and more sign up. You won’t be disappointed 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

  4. My daughter started taking classes at BBJJ around a year and a half ago, and ever since she became extremely confident in herself, very well organized, and very responsible. The change was noticeable not only for me but also for the family members and friends. She loves going to the lessons. The teachers are amazing here! They not only teach the physical strength, but also help students develop emotional and mental strength. Besides learning, students are having a lot of fun. At BBJJ every Holiday is celebrated with at no cost to the parents. Kids have a chance to invite their best friends to the party and have a movie night or funny activity together. I wanted to thank everyone who is involved with the BBJJ, especially our favorite teachers Mr. Ali, Mr. Cancel and Mr. Sam for being so caring, generous, patient, kind; For never giving up on the students and for never disappointing them. My daughter and I appreciate EVERYTHING you all do for us!

  5. This is more than just another activity for my son. Brooklyn BJJ has incredible teachers who care about their students and work hard to teach them not only martial arts but life lessons that they need to grow into well-rounded adults. Brooklyn BJJ is also a community and their special events for Halloween, St. Patrick’s day and their invaluable Bully Busters sessions are events that my son looks forward too and he can even bring a friend. I’m also happy that my son can come and train as often as he likes without limitations to a certain number of days a week. We looked into several martial arts courses in the area when deciding where to bring our son and I’m so glad we chose Brooklyn BJJ. You will be too.

I cannot speak more highly of Glory and the instructors I’ve worked with. I’m a visiting student and have trained at two institutions – the Glory team has been beyond welcoming and supportive. I recently started privates with professor Omar – not only is he a genuinely kind and supportive instructor but his ability to simplify instructions and create continuity between sessions is the most effective I’ve encountered. So excited to see how Glory will grow 🙂

Very professional, friendly and welcoming staff and instructors. The practitioners are at different levels, do not flex their egos even if they are very skilled and are willing to work with you and explain things in order for you to make progress. All are willing to share knowledge and break down the techniques. I have no prior martial arts experience but my friend from Japan introduced me to Brazilian Jiujitsu recently and it ignited a spark in me. I just started and today will be my second day training. I plan to keep at it in this gym until I get a black belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. It’s a lofty goal because I’m older, working full time, etc but I feel motivated by the people there. At the end of the day, it is also a great workout because the classes are very intense. I was able to meet and learn from Professor Omar yesterday. He exudes an aura of confidence yet he respects everyone at the gym and also isn’t afraid to say sorry if he locks a student’s arm too tight. He is definitely the real deal and funny as well when describing the techniques in order to make them easier to remember. He also personally shows the moves and spars with others, unlike those typical fat karate/kung fu instructors who just stand there and watch. It’s so good that I plan to go every Monday through Thursday in order to keep learning until I am able to participate in the advanced classes on Fridays and Saturdays. Your membership can be paused if you’re away for vacation which is a plus for my family. I didn’t try the Muay Thai classes yet but plan to do so soon as it does look fun and the instructors seem to really pay attention to their students. Parking in the area is tough but there is a train station nearby.

I’m so happy I found this gem in bay ridge. My son loved training there. He equally liked both jiu jitsu and kickboxing. I wanted to thank the whole Glory Martial Art Center team for providing absolutely amazing experience for our children. Toddlers are hard but you demonstrated professionalism, patience and unique approach that allowed my son to enjoy each class he took. You encouraged him to do better, you teach him discipline yet he always had fun. Thank you for always making us feel welcomed. Starting from reception area and warm greetings by Bajram to of course all of the coaches that were always friendly. Thank you so much and hope to be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this incredible BJJ gym and was absolutely delighted with my experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home from the moment I stepped inside. I attended the Ramadan open mats and found the training to be exceptional, catering to a wide range of skill levels, from novices to seasoned practitioners. If you’re in the Staten Island or Brooklyn area and are looking for a top-notch BJJ gym, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. It truly stands out as a welcoming and supportive community that fosters growth and development in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Hands down one of the best academies i’ve trained at. The staff are all super helpful and understanding. Regardless of your martial arts background, they break down the basics and teach you techniques that are actually realistic. Both the Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai programs are top notch, and would 100% recommend it to anybody with or without experience!

Absolutely love this place! Moved to Brooklyn in June 2022 with the intention to start my journey in BJJ. PSABJJ had by far the best honest reviews it seemed and after training for 5 months at this academy I can say that reviews are well deserved and yet still don’t do it justice. The environment and family that the professors have created is exactly what is needed and missing in many gyms today. I can’t thank them and recommend them enough!

It’s a wonderful place to start Jiu jitsu. The professors are great teachers and really friendly. They ensure you’re comfortable with the pace and take extra care about your safety. Training here has definitely helped boost my confidence and has also been good for my mental health.

My son was in the Little Grapplers class. He’s on the smaller side, and as a former practitioner myself, with numerous battle scars, I was initially worried for his safety. My fears were totally unfounded, as Marc and Steven have created an amazing environment—safe, generous, encouraging, and engaging. The creed the students recite at the end of the class are exactly the kind of values I try to instill in my son. We were sad to leave when we moved out of Brooklyn.

This place is amazing! My daughter has been going here since she was 5 and we both LOVE it. The two professors are knowledgable and great with kids. They do an exceptional job of creating a welcoming atmosphere for all types of kids/adults. Having a daughter I particularly appreciate how geared towards women they are in a sport that has at times been male oriented. I have been consistently impressed at home much the students learn over their time here. The facility is clean, the price is affordable and you can tell Professor Adami & Professor Crocilla truly love BJJ. I tell all my parent friends, PSABJJ is where it’s at!!

I started my Jiu-Jitsu journey in late 2018, and PSA was recommended to me by a close friend who trained there. As soon as I took my first class I said to myself, “I’m going to be doing this for the rest of my life.” PSA and its owners/professors Marc and Steve were welcoming and helpful from the start, and have continued to be, throughout my training. Jiu-Jitsu has been the most beneficial thing I have ever done in my life, and I am grateful to be part of such an excellent academy.
