What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. It’s a big diner, maybe they will never go out of seats. Their menu is vast. I’m expecting decent quantity for that price, but quantity is more than expected.
We had chicken fingers, pancakes are big enough for two and are delicious. Service was little bit slower, at the end it’s worth it.

  2. Now this is a diner experience! This place is rocking. The ladies serving you are constantly moving and working on something. The food came out hot, quick and delicious! I tried the Stella Breakfast Sandwich and my belly thanked me. It was loaded with bacon! Our server was Moe and she was awesome. Moe was friendly, attentive and hard working. We will definitely come back to Stella’s Diner on our next visit to the area to try more items on their menu.

  3. Excellent food! The bruschetta appetizer and mimosas were especially memorable. Our server was friendly and personable, the service was prompt, and the diner was clean and quiet! I loved the Betty Boop decor and bright colors. My partner and I will absolutely be returning (:

  4. The best Diner in Syracuse. Stella’s Diner has the tastiest breakfast and lunch options and provides quick and efficient service for an affordable price. The Stella’s Sandwich, with two fried eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat, is my go-to order every time. My friends and I enjoy morning debriefs at Stella’s and appreciate the friendly staff, who are always ready to bring another coffee refill.

  5. This place was really wonderful. Huge portions and fresh vegetables in the Freata (never heard of this dish so maybe spelled wrong) was especially loaded with great stuff. My meals could have fed 2 people easy. Highly recommend for breakfast! Tell em Dave sent ya!

Went to Francescas last night for the first time in awhile. It was amazing!! The outdoor patio is so cute and has a nice atmosphere. I tried the special pasta dish. It had a pesto sauce and duck sausage. I was super impressed. I also had the butter cake for dessert and I now understand why everyone raves about it, it’s definitely in my list of best desserts now. I also enjoyed a watermelon basil cocktail that was very refreshing and the rest of their drink menu looked really nice. I will have to come here more often.

We loved this place the minute we walked through the door. The decor was eclectic and welcoming. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. The food…amazing. From the fresh baked foccacia to the fresh pastas, the food was delicious. Innovative flavor combinations made each dish a delight to eat. We highly recommend Francesca’s.

I orderded a rack of lamb, it was one of the best lamb dishes I have ever tried. So delicious. I definitely recommend it. I would say, it is one of the nicest restaurants in the city for me. The entrance of the restaurant was a little loud, but the places in the back are somewhat quieter. A little expensive as it seems, but worth a visit. I will come again.

I got the lobster ravioli here. I was a bit concerned about the pink sauce because I am a picky eater, but it was great. Some parts of the pasta were slightly undercooked. And, I paid 26.99 for 5 pieces of ravioli–way too expensive to not have leftovers if you ask me. I also got bread at the table after I sat down, so at least that helped to fill me up! The bread was pretty good. For dessert, I got the to go butter cake. The cake was good–moist and very rich!

Really really awesome restaurant. Very glad we came tonight. It was not where we intended but ended up being terrific. The specials were great. Good wine list. Dessert choices are also outstanding. We had the famous butter cake.

Had a lovely dinner here when visiting Syracuse with my partner. Service was wonderful, they let our dog sit on the patio with us and even brought her a water dish. The food was delicious, everything was cooked beautifully. The Saffron Scallops and Garlic Shrimp were our favorites. Great environment all around, would definitely return next time we’re visiting.

It was my first visiting. It was a busy night but luckily we got seats. We were told that the paella would take about 40 minutes, but the drinks and small plates we ordered were very delicious (even the olive and bucket’s small free plates were very delicious) and I didn’t feel like waiting too long. And I highly recommend their paellas. The seafood paella has lots good flavors and it was very delicious totally worth waiting. I’d like to try another paella next time.

My father and I just dined in and let me just say this food and service is incredible! Everyone was very hospitable, the menu was appealing, and the food was sooooo filling and delicious! The hostess and waitress we had were both so lively and prompt when responding. I would definitely eat here again Edit: I forgot to add this but as a suggestion, please put WORDS on the bathroom doors because the pictures confused me (I wasn’t looking too hard at them) and I just entered the closest door which turned out to be the women’s restroom. I wasn’t aware there was the men’s room around the corner as it was sort of tucked away and there weren’t words which caused me a moderate deal of embarrassment

We sat outside. The atmosphere was perfect. The staff was friendly & quick. The food came out fast and was amazing. The Paella was perfect. Took me back to my grandmother’s kitchen. The cocktails were just as good. New to the area, but this will be a monthly visit.

Experience was not the best. Most of the menu has changed so I had to try new items. I had a paella which was prepared incorrectly. It was mushy and burnt at the bottom. We opted for two shrimps instead of octopus and our server still put in extra mussels. In an attempt to savor my burnt food I asked for condiments and was informed that condiments were an additional fee. Additionally, the waiter kept bringing my table bread without informing us it was an extra charge. It was would have been a great experience despite the obvious ridiculous extra charges and distasteful food. Additionally the server was not friendly and did not check on our table, he spent most of his time on his phone at the bar and attempting to make us order more food. We sat here for 2 hours being pressured into buying more food which we did not. This was a very cheap restaurant with little care for their customer satisfaction.
