  1. Gourmet indeed! Had breakfast with my wife here and it was delicious and well presented. Our excellent server brought us avocado toast on gluten free bread, and gluten free oatmeal creme brulee, and it was fabulous. The pastries in the display case looked so inviting, so we tried a gluten free almond horn and (no surprise) it was yummy!

Another solid gluten free choice in Salt Lake City. HIGHLY recommended

  2. It’s delicious. We ordered the Greek salad and the salmon De croute. The salmon was moist and in a French pastry. It came with a side of delicious and decorative mashed potatoes. The green grains and Greek salad had chickpeas, feta, tomatoes, olives, cucumber and fried cheese balls. So yum! The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We didn’t get pastries but they look delicious and authentically French. The cheese balls and dressing have a little kick of spice.

  3. This cute little brunch location is a great place for a small meal. The workers were very friendly and the food came out quick. We had the panini and the grilled cheese which tasted fantastic, alongside the tomato soup. The grilled cheese is made also with blueberries, which is a pretty obscure taste, but it tasted so good! We skipped dessert, but there are a plethora of choices from the bakery section. I hope to come back and try it!

  4. I really like this place, but this time the cakes I tried I didn’t like too much.
The red velvet was just white chocolate; I couldn’t feel the chocolate flavor in the red part.
    The tiramisu wasn’t sweet
The fruit tart at Smith’s tastes better.

I really love the passion fruit mousse, but this time I tried something different and it didn’t work out.

  5. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived at 8pm but we were seated immediately.

    – Kids meal – flat bread with cheese: the cheese pizza was good. It was very cheesy and the crust was crispy. It came with a bowl of grapes and a drink (chocolate milk). Perfect portion for a kid
    – Turtle bread pudding: when I ordered, the server asked if I want my bread pudding to be heated and I said yes. When getting my order, the server asked one more time and I said yes. However, when it arrived the bread pudding was cold. I didn’t bother to ask our server again as I couldn’t fetch her for some time. The bread pudding was very chocolaty & decadent. It tasted good for the first few bites but overtime, it was too sweet for me. The piece was big and it was good for sharing.

Overall, the food was good but the dessert was too sweet for me. Would love to try other dessert menu when we come back.

I was skeptical about the baked cream cheese and crackers appetizer but WOW was it the best way to start the meal. Absolutely recommend it 10/10. I also had the garden sandwich which is fresh and filling but light and I tried my friends meal (she got the ravioli) and it was SO good. I would order all of the above again. Oh and the summertime spritz was the perfect beverage as well. Highly recommend this place

New pot of coffee with glasses of water. Steve did a great job keeping our coffee topped out. We had the Chicken Salad sandwich with a salad and house dressing. Which was tasty by the way. Also a Spinach Omelette was had, Hash browns a little crispy, I didn’t ask for them that way but like them that way much better. They were slightly greasy but very good just the same. As well as the Pancake that came with it was delicious and perfect.. We also got the French dip special which is always a tasty treat, but we got that for someone else, to go .

This is a wonderful little place to sit down for lunch or dinner or just a slice of pie. Fantastic service from everybody (even the host who was brand new). The entire staff was happy, upbeat, friendly, and had their own recommendations from the menu. All of the food was awesome, but don’t leave this place without dessert. The only comparison of their dessert that I have is desserts that I’ve had walking the streets of Paris. Perfect little restaurant with awesome vibes. Classy, yet down to earth. Don’t hesitate trying this place. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed everything about the food here. The options we selected must have been made for us because they were perfect! Pasta is not usually something I enjoy, but it was recommended by the waiter as a special. I am always more than happy to try recommendations and I’m glad I did. The avocado pasta was so flavorful and was a great texture combination. Not overly starchy like some places. However, I would marry the baker of their deserts in a heartbeat. Lol! I’ve never had anything ever taste to good. Blueberry sour cream pie sounded odd, but looked amazing. I tried it and I didn’t leave disappointed at all. Best thing I’ve ever tasted to be honest. I would love to come again. It’s a bit pricey for my regular budget, but I would fit it in when I could due to the taste. I’d come more often if the prices were a little lower, but the quality is there. Thank you for the amazing food.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Dodo. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, atmosphere was great (but a little chilly), facilities were very nice and clean. I wish they took reservations but the wait wasn’t terrible. They told us it would be a 70 minute wait and it ended up being closer to 45 minutes. Not ideal but not the end of the world. We were told weekends are crazy busy so we went on a Tuesday night for dinner. I’ve listed what we got and what we rated the dishes out of 5 stars: 1. Artichoke Dip Appetizer ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Worth every penny. Absolutely delicious 2. Blueberry Parmesan Halibut ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very yummy but not worth $36.99 3. Ravioli ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surprisingly the asparagus in the Ravioli is what really made this dish shine and the tomato basil cream sauce was fantastic! 4. Cajun Seafood Soup ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Flavor wise it was delicious with just the right amount of spice but for $5.99 the portion size is definitely lacking. 5. Blueberry Sour Cream Pie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️(+) This Pie was the star of the meal! Even though we were stuffed we couldn’t help taking more bites of this pie!

Stopped in on our way to a show at The Eccles Theater. This was a short walk from the event, but far enough out to avoid the crowds. The food quality is high, the dishes are authentic, and the options, although limited, leave you wanting to share with your friends so you can try them all (which is exactly what we did). Coffee was great, no cream or sugar needed. Our food came out quickly so we got in and out in a snap. I want to go back and shop their German market as soon as I can. The candy and deli counter look awesome.

This place is equal part unique, scrumptious and well valued. Sure this is standard on every pedestrian German, but so happy to have one of them here. Only issue is that everyone else wants to eat here too, so lines all day long. Even though it is cafeteria style restaurant, so much business goes through that everything is fresh and efficient. Even houses an indigenous store and deli. Cool German beers also. This will be my first stop next time in SLC. I wish there was a similar place like this at home in Vegas. Good job!!!

Finally tried Siegfried’s for the first time. A great little German delicatessen. We tried the schnitzel with gravy, Reuben sandwich, goulash with spätzel, sides of cold potato salad and macaroni salad, with apple strudel for dessert. The schnitzel was the favorite for all of us. We will come back to try other items on the menu.

This was our first time trying German food and it was great! You just walk up to the counter, order your food, and they make it right there in front of you. Super speedy. Lots of the food is already made, but it was still really good. We got the wiener schnitzel with sauerkraut and sides. You get a good amount of food for the price. I wouldn’t know how authentically German it is, but it sure hit the spot. The sauerkraut was delicious – it has little pieces of sausage in it. It was really good with the schnitzel. There’s also a little German shop right there in the bistro where you can buy different German snacks and foods.

I absolutely enjoyed every single dish that I tried at Siegfried’s. Meats were cooked to perfection and very tasty without any weird factory aftertaste. In fact, it tasted just like home-made food. I loved it. And service was very fast. It is not really a restaurant (or it does not feel like one in a traditional sense) but rather a deli but I don’t care. Best food I ate out in a long time.
