  1. Wow, Rockford you are lucky to have an establishment like this one. Myself I would recommend making a reservation, as they fill up fast. The reason for the full restaurant is the food is Fantastic. The group of chefs they have are phenomenal and know their skill. A Great Chef is hard to find; but I know where they are. This place is expensive; but worth every cent, I guarantee you will leave full and very satisfied. The flavors of the food is outstanding and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very informative about the menu items that are offered and answered all our questions. The atmosphere was just perfect I wouldn’t take the little ones here as the establishment is geared towards young adults and adults. Great place for Date night I highly recommend and will definitely come back, I don’t mind paying for food that is better than some places in Chicago.

  2. Incredible atmosphere, delicious farm to table food selections. My favorite place to meet friends. Get the sirloin or fillet if you love steak! Their Mediterranean salad is my favorite salad ever. My son is a big fan of the bone in Ribeye and we both love the ribs and chicken pasta.

  3. I got the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer and the seafood marinara as my main course. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a very romantic feel to it. My boyfriend and I don’t go to upscale restaurants very often and this place was definitely worth it.

  4. Went here for date night and the vibe was right. They had the outside set up beautifully with a band playing peaceful beautiful music. The food was good a little basic and high priced but we pay for the experience and location as well. The drinks were good I am big on cocktails so I need the picture worthy but also taste so good and leaves me feeling just right as well, and the Bar tender did just that. The waitress could’ve tended to us better to make us feel more welcome but despite we had a good time.

  5. my family and I came in for dinner a couple nights ago and the food and service was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and we were seated almost immediately. The service was fast and our server was super friendly and attentive, often checking in on our table. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Our lamb and steak was cooked perfectly, the meat was so flavorful and juicy. The shrimp Dijon was so so so good, my personal favorite. The pizza was new for me and was delicious. We will be returning!

    I haven’t been here in years, used to come here for Thanksgiving every year until one year they were serving pretty much a raw turkey until me and another lady said something and they came and took the turkey away and everyone was left without having turkey on Thanksgiving and still had to pay full price. But went again and food was great although it took a long time to get when hardly anyone was there

    Stockholm Inn was enjoyable. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The waitress was helpful in answering menu questions. The food portions are very generous. The lingonberry tea was really good. I visited during the week. I can imagine it gets very busy.

    I had the smokehouse skillet and my wife had the buffet. I was super impressed with the skillet. Lots of meat mixed in with eggs, peppers, hash browns, and onions. DISCLAIMER: MY WIFE, WHO IS HALF SWEDISH, DOES NOT DO WELL AT BUFFETS. My wife was disappointed by the buffet. The biscuits and gravy here meh, the bacon tasted like cardboard and the variety was OK. The service was great and the atmosphere was memorable. Also, the meatballs from the buffet were really good.

    We had the buffet for $13 each. Amazing. Every bite was fantastic. Swedish pancakes are to die for!!! The server also retrieved cream cheese for me, even though it was on the buffet and I just missed it. I was thoroughly impressed.

    The best Swedish- American restaurant in Northern Illinois. 🥞pancakes and 🍒Lingonberries are the best match ⭐️. In one of the best areas in Rockford, Illinois you will find this jewel 💎 a small piece of Sweden 🇸🇪 in the Midwest🇺🇸. Pancakes are just out of this world 🌎 the lingonberries add an amazing 🤩 taste 👅 to the pancakes but there’s more in the menu try everything because here food is just delicious 🤤. jag älskar Sverige! 🇸🇪

    We went to this place when visiting some friends in Rockford. It was on Memorial Day, and it seems like people always had to wait for a seat. For the food, we tried the skillet, Swedish pancake, stuffed French toast, etc. I liked the skillet and the Swedish pancakes. Overall the quality was fine, nothing really impressive or special.

    All of the food ordered was cold. Coffee was so weak you could see through it. Everything was bland. Ordered a steak and eggs. The steak was half raw. The eggs were small and also cold. Too many plates came out and not enough table space. I’m sure there are other places serving HOT breakfast! Not worth the money! I would give this place a ZERO, but the pancakes were DELICIOUS!

    We were in town for a graduation and decided to try this place. We are absolutely glad that we did. The food was amazing, and that was the lowest part. The service was even better than the food. There was always someone walking around with a coffee pot filling cups. I love the plausible denyability of a never-ending cup of coffee because if my doctor asks, I only had one cup. The most impressive part was our server. My daughter has nut allergies, and our sever (I think her name was Carol) was very knowledgeable about the products and made great recommendations around them. It’s very appreciated! Not only will we be going here the next time we’re in town, but I will absolutely recommend ot to anyone else as well.
