  1. I brought my little grandson’s there for date night with Gigi. Another reason to go there is because my daughter Christina is a server there and has been for 2 years. I wanted the boys to see how hard their mommy works. She gave us great service even though she had large tables to take care of. The boys loved the mini cheeseburgers and chicken fingers. I ordered the pasta with shrimp but will admit it wasn’t my favorite. Just wanted to try something different. Me and the boys shared the chocolate lava dessert. It was a great night overall.

  2. My company recently held a retirement celebration party upstairs in the Green Room. We had an open bar with appetizers and dinner. The event was perfect! The room was spacious for the number of people in attendance, it was clean, smelled great and the food was delicious! The staff – specifically Rachel and the other two bartenders (sorry, I’ve forgotten their names) were fantastic! They allowed me early access to the space so that I could go over table placement, specialty cocktail suggestions, use of their A/V system, etc.
    If you are looking for an affordable place for your next meeting, party, event, etc. Look no further than The Loft. You will NOT be disappointed!

  3. I freaking love this place! There is seating both upstairs and downstairs. I honestly prefer dining upstairs as there is some lovely live music. The environment is amazing, filled with an amazing group of loving employees! Their Pimento Burger, Thai Shrimp Tacos, Grilled Salmon & Mashed Potatoes are the best! 🤤😋
    I’ll definitely miss this place when I relocate🥹

  4. You get what you pay for is certainly true at the loft. Certainly not the best meal I’ve ever had, but the best I’ve had in a while. Dishes are simple and easy to execute. The chicken isn’t perfectly cooked, the steak certainly was. The pairings were great. The service was beyond fast. All in all worth every penny, I’d even be willing to pay a little more. Thnx “The Loft” for an excellent night.

  5. Found The Loft to be incredible. Our server was just the most fantastic server we had in all of Columbus. She gave us some good info on the area. Did a great job in recommending the grouper. Then it was time to select cake. The coconut and carrot cakes were a dream, and the pieces were huge.

    We love diners, and this one was fantastic. It was our first time in Columbus, GA. I ordered the red velvet pancakes (no whip cream). I love that it came with eggs and a breakfast meat. My husband had the steak and cheese omelet. We both loved our dishes, and they were reasonably priced. Our server. Jr., was great. Answered my questions, quick service, and really personable.

    Great food and just as good service. We had the rooster (eggs, bisquits, chicken and gravy!) and several build a breakfast meals. The best pancakes were the peach and cinnamon. There was a 20 min wait bit worth it. Also the decor is old and the tables and chairs are in need of repair but the food far out weighs the other things. Wow just great food!!

    We stopped here to try a new restaurant and overall everyone was pretty satisfied with their meals. We tried the Turkey and Gravy meal, French toast with eggs and sausage, patty melt, grilled cheese, and a breakfast item called the rooster. The rooster was probably the best item that we had.

    My server was Jr. He did a fantastic job at making me feel welcome. Good with menu recommendations as well. I had the chocolate cake. It was delicious. The food was nice and hot and every time I come here the staff is so friendly and helpful. A Columbus staple.

    Food was delicious! Waitress was Great. This was our 1st visit and the waitress recommended “Captin Crunch French Toast”. Wow..it was worth it. Everything was great food!

    We tried Mabella’s tonight. We absolutely loved it. From the service to the food and drinks we did not have a single complaint. My husband got the Lavender Gin Fizz and it had a slight sweetness but wasn’t over powering. I got the peach Bellini which was a little *too* sweet for my personal taste but I’m also the person who doesn’t like margaritas or anything like that 😂. But I love peach! They bring out bread for the table and it was super crispy which we love. For an appetizer we got the pan seared provolone cheese. I feel like this is the mozzarella sticks fancy cousin. It was nice being able to eat melted cheese without being judged LOL. When it came out it was sizzling like fajitas and we were surprised to see it was our appetizer! I got the grilled chicken Marsala. Absolutely loved it. I got full very quickly and ended up being able to bring some mashed potatoes and chicken home for the kid. My husband got the scallops. It comes with 4 but he ate one before I got my photo. He said they were great and had great flavor. Our server was awesome. I believe she said her name was Evelyn but I forgot to double check before she grabbed our check book from us. She was super friendly and kept our table clean and our waters full. Overall our bill was $110. That included 3 alcoholic drinks, the appetizer, and the 2 entrees. If you’re looking for a good date place with a nice atmosphere I would recommend it. If you’re looking for a place for your kids I don’t think I would take them here because of the menu/prices.

    Stellar. Blown away. Gorgeous repurpose of an old historic building. Went on the off-chance NYE to see if they could squeeze us in. We lucked up and enjoyed sitting by the beautiful Christmas tree. Delightful service, flavorful food, & great vibes all around. Chose the wild mushroom ravioli w/petite cut of steak (very rich, delicious, and steak was tender), it came with a sizable yummy ceasar salad.

    First time here. Had 2 waters, fried calamari and artichoke appetizer, ceaser salad, rigatoni and calzone…$65. Went within an hour of opening, was able to get a table without reservation. Food was good, our server Andrew was good as well. It’s definitely worth a try if you have never been!

    This place is warm & welcoming. 2 story dining and Food & Service was very impressive. Filet is so delicate you could pull apart so tender, marinated & chard to a Tasty Crisp with roasted Garlic Cloves.

    To be honest it’s ratings and reviews are rather inflated! Service was great but attention to detail matters… chipped glass caught my lip. Potato soup was bland (I wouldn’t recommend putting mushrooms in potato soup). Burnt bread is not plesent even if you intended to burn it! The drinks were good and the entree was good…. I am fond of the brussel sprouts! This is not a 5 star restaurant!
