  1. Good breakfast restaurant with plenty of indoor seating along with a couple tables outside. The service was friendly and quick. Food was good and portion sizes were OK. Very reasonably priced as well. Place has an old at-home comfortable atmosphere.

  2. This restaurant is a local favorite and I can see why. The prices are very reasonable considering the increase in food prices we are experiencing lately. The menu has many choices and they service breakfast all day, which is always a favorite for my daughter. I ordered a fruit plate with cottage cheese which was very fresh and the portion was generous. The service was efficient although I thought our server was a little gruff. Otherwise it was perfect! We will definitely be back.

  3. Friendly and quick service. Huge menu with dozens of breakfast options and the same for lunch. Food was above average, and prices were very reasonable. Fairly stark interior, lots of tables and booths but not a ton of character. Overall a very pleasant experience and I’d probably come back for a tasty and cost conscious breakfast.

  4. Wow wow wow. This diner was awesome. The food was fresh the service was great. When I’m around this area again I’m definitely coming back. I had the country fried steak and it was delicious. If your looking at this review just come here you will be satisfied when you leave.

    Just wow! What a amazing time! From the moment we walked in till the end. The ambience is intimate & romantic. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and made me feel super special for my birthday! Our waiter was phenomenal (shout-out to Edward) and service was excellent!     A fantastic experience that I will cherish for a while. Delicious food, we have been going to this restaurant for about two years but when the pandemic hit we stopped going temporarily. 3 years later, the restaurant is just as good and possibly better. I ordered Pork Osso Buco, which was exceptional, especially since I don’t usually care for pork. The creamed potatoes with truffle were well blended and buttery, and the pork was very tender and juicy. The Red Snapper is also delightful, with a Bacon Ziti cake (that was incredible) to accompany it. Dessert is also very delightful here, with a creamy marscapone filling that complimented the moist layers of rum-soaked coffee cake. Complimentary shots of limoncello were also offered. Our waitress, Faith, was friendly and extremely helpful with finding the perfect item for every person dining. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion or just to have a classy dinner.

    Where do I start? From the moment we walked in, the service was incredible. Giselle is definitely one of the best waitresses. The chef sent a pear goat cheese app which was very good. The oil and cheese is a perfect blend. Order the Sexy Sicilian. That drink is divine. We ordered wild mushroom risotto which was cooked perfect. Gordon Ramsey would be proud lol. We also had the butternut squash and ragu. Both were 10/10. The staff sent out an anniversary zeppole. The wild Berry dip was so fresh. We finished with complimentary limencello. Everything about this place is amazing including the piano player. We will definitely go back.

    Amazing meal! Outstanding service! Everything was delicious and recommendations spot on. Our waitress, Katie, was attentive and super friendly. Melon and speck, delicious breads and garlic parm herb butter. We then split 4 small pasta dishes so we could try as much as we could. Cacio e pepe, Veal Agnolotti, butternut squash ravioli, and Pappardelle ‘Capri’. All amazing! Get the donuts for dessert!

    Angelina’s was a perfect experience! Arrived a little early so enjoyed a drink at the piano bar, which was a nice added touch to the start of our evening. We then moved to a table inside a nice semi-private room and we were provided some nice starters including fresh bread, crispy flatbread and a chef’s sampler of goat cheese and watermelon, which was simply delicious! We started with the beef carpaccio for our appetizer. Absolutely the best flavors combined together to get your palette going. Our main entrees included the Wagyu steak and the veal chop (which of course with truffle season, had to truffle it up!) We shared the chestnut squash raviolis, again with some added truffles and everything was cooked to perfection. We really wanted to try the canollis, but just didn’t have quite enough room to enjoy. We are definitely looking forward to returning with some friends in the upcoming months.

    My girlfriend and I happened to stubble upon this place. So I googled them and saw they had amazing reviews. We had lunch and let me say everything we ordered was amazing!!! The food quality was on point 💯!!!! I ordered the Carne en Salsa and the beef was so tender, juicy, and delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Tácitos Ticos and she loved every bite of it. Def order the Costa Rica Coffee if you love coffee. This will be our go to spot for sure now that we are new to the area.

    We had an early dinner at Lapa’s as a family. We were all very pleased with everything. The food was absolutely delicious, and healthy. All dishes (we had shrimp, chicken and beef) had a very fine taste. They are also vegetarian-friendly. Our host was very kind, as well. Recommended strongly if you are in the area.

    Having lived in Costa Rica, I was very excited to have stumbled upon this place. Great service and the food was EXCELLENT! I ordered the Carne en Salsa with Patacones and gallo pinto! Excellent flavor. Food was hot and well seasoned! Gallo pinto was some of the best gallo pinto I’ve ever had! Patacones cooked perfectly. Nice crunch on the outside, soft on the inside and sprinkle of salt on top 🤤. The Carne en Salsa was absolutely delicious. Moist, perfectly seasoned, swimming in a delicious gravy. Was really impressed. I already can’t wait to go back honestly! Go support them. One of better restaurants in the area for sure!

    We absolutely loved the food here! authentic Costa Rican cuisine with a very homey flavor and excellent attention and service! So happy to have found Lapas Bistro!! We came for lunch on a Saturday and for Brunch on a Monday. The gallo pinto was amazing! Congratulations and can’t wait to come back to Sanibel Island and visit you guys again!!!
