  2. I had an excellent experience. Both of my visits were great. The dentist and the hygienists were very knowledgeable with excellent “chair-side” manners. I was very anxious about going and almost cancelled my appointments, but they did a fantastic job helping me relax and get comfortable. They are efficient and have the best customer service. I am so joyful to have found them. Thank you for making my experience great!

  3. Even though they weren’t my regular dentist, they were able to take me next-day to fix a broken tooth. I was so extremely impressed with the way they explained everything to me from what type of treatment options I had to the pricing! They were friendly and convenient. And during my wait they offered water. Very hospitable. They took my insurance and it was very reasonable. Even considering switching there to be my regular dentist. Great first impression and I highly recommend!

  4. Always a great experience. From the receptionists to the dental hygienists to the dentists, everybody is super friendly and makes for a great visit. Most recently had Brittany as my hygienist and she is a gem! Walked in bummed on a gloomy cold day, walked out in a great mood.

  5. From the initial phone call to make the appointment to the appointment itself, the staff were kind and welcoming. I never felt belittled or talked down too. The dentist was exceptionally gentle as well. I’m glad I was referred to this office and look forward to continuing my dental care with them.

    Overall, the experience was alright. My main issue was with the billing side of things. I was getting my wisdom teeth out. I was told I had to pay up front for the surgery to “reserve” the oral surgeon’s time. I was uncomfortable with this in the event I would potentially have to reschedule my appointment date—which never happened. However, you should always read the fine print before you pay for a service to see if you can get your money back if you cancel—I’m not sure what their policy is. Regardless, I paid to reserve the time on the schedule. I get a text notification about my appointment, only to find out that it had been bumped up 30 minutes earlier than what I was expecting. I called to inquire why no one called me, because if I wouldn’t have gotten that notification I would have shown up late (and potentially not be given my back). I was told by the receptionist that sometimes the oral surgeon will shift the schedule around slightly. I found this somewhat annoying, especially for those that might be working before hand or with a tight schedule. They should really make an effort to reach out when they start moving appointments. On the day of the surgery, I had booked out the entire two/three days (as is common with wisdom teeth). I don’t recall the time I went back as opposed to my appointment time, but I do remember waiting for a while. Surgery goes fine. Staff is nice and friendly I would say. No dry sockets and no problems afterward with the medication or anything. About two weeks later, I get a bill in the mail for some odd 300 bucks. I was really confused and called wanting to know why I was getting billed again when I had already prepaid for the surgery. They gave me somewhat of a runaround when I called. Receptionist said she needed to talk to the office manager about it and would give me a call back. I never got a call back, voicemail, text, or email. I decide to call Aspen Dental customer service number. The call center rep was able to tell me that it was a discrepancy between what my insurance covered when they quoted me versus what my insurance was actually covered when formally billed. That’s a downside to prepayment I suppose and staff not appropriately applying insurance. In general, I would just say be aware for fishy billing practices, uncommon procedures, and unresponsive staff post appointment. Always ask clarifying questions and make sure you read everything they give you and all bills.

    Dr ricks is the best dentist I’ve ever had. He takes pride in his work and makes sure him and I both think it looks great before he is satisfied. I don’t Think I would ever trust another doctor with restoring my front teeth! The assistants are all amazing and knowledgeable and Lexi was great! Michelle the office manager explained everything and made me feel comfortable.

    The appointment was for my wife. She had a tooth that was bothering her and chose to come here. After her exam we were taken to an office for review of her options and prices for certain procedures. First option was over $6000 and was for a simple extraction with an implant in the space in front of where the tooth would be pulled. She declined and requested the simple extraction which would be $35 with insurance. The finance person left the room to confirm an appointment time with the Doctor and came back and said sorry but the dr forgot to add a code and now the cost would be $355. To which we thanked her and left immediately. Total scam. It’s more like dealing with a car salesman than going to dentist. We will never recommend this place. Waste of time

    Made an online appointment for my son who was having significant tooth pain. Totally by my own error I showed up on the wrong day. Instead of having to leave, the entire staff worked to get him in, and the Dentist was able to fix him right up. Although I was the idiot that showed up unannounced, they treated us wonderfully and provided a great service. Friendly staff, knowledgeable team. Great overall

    I hadn’t been able to go to a dentist in many years, but they got me right in, x-rays, cleaning and fillings, and they were all very polite during the whole visit and I’m very grateful for their time and work.

    No anxiety when I make a dentist appointment!!! 🙂 I like coming to Main Family Dental Care. The staff is extremely helpful and very friendly. I have been coming here for years and they really do make you feel like family. You are treated like a person, not a customer. I also have been bringing my son since the age of 5, he is now 17. They make him feel very comfortable and explain everything they do. The dentists are highly skilled and extremely professional. We are always greeted with a smile! Dr G is understanding and compassionate.. Highly recommended…

    We recently moved to Iowa from Green Bay, WI where we didn’t have a dentists, because when I went to Fay Dental in Green Bay, WI the hygienist I had was very rude and disrespectful to me so we didn’t go back. So when I went to Main Family Dental Care I was very pleasantly surprised of how nice everyone is, and the best part they don’t judge you no matter how your teeth are. My hygienist was super nice and I didn’t feel judged at all, and matter a fact she was very caring and gentle with me when she did my cleaning. I am so happy that they where the first dental place I found and called, because I feel I can trust them to do all my dental work. My husband had his teeth cleaned also, the same day, and recently he had to go in for an emergency tooth extraction and they took him in as soon as they could to pull it. So if you are looking for a dentist where they treat you with respect and make you feel like you are cared for then you should definitely choose Main Family Dental Care for all your dental care needs because they are so very well worth it.     This place is awesome! I was originally hesitant because I haven’t had good luck with dentists. In the past I’ve only experienced judgmental dentists and staff. But at this place it isn’t like that at all. Everyone was super nice, I never once felt judged or unwelcome. Dr John did a great job! Thank you so much!! I want to also edit and add that my second appointment here was awesome as well! I had Lisa this time and she was so sweet and very informative and did a great job keeping my anxiety down during my visit! She even made sure to have someone check in on me the next day just to see how i was doing since I had some discomfort during my appointment and I really appreciated that! She is absolutely wonderful! Thanks again 😊

    I was extremely impressed by Dr. Griebahn and his staff. Everyone was professional, yet very warm and pleasant. My family just recently became new patients and visiting their office felt more like a visit with family who deeply cared for us. They even worked with our small children while our teeth were cleaned. I cannot recommend them enough. We are grateful for their excellent customer service and quality dental care.
