What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. we love this place! It’s always clean and they have equipment there that you can use if you don’t have your own with you. If you are looking for lessons they have all kinds, from hitting to pitching and they even have clinics during the summer and spring break for kids.

  2. WOW! this is a very organized, clean, well-managed place to take your kids or even yourself for some good catching/batting/pitching practice. The platinum membership pays for itself if you plan to schedule lessons with coaches and provided unlimited family fun in the cages. All of the staff and coaches are super friendly and we have been very impressed with Aaron Wells. He is great with kids, very encouraging, and knowledgeable.

  3. It’s a regular nice dbat the machines gives a you different pitches like curves balls but also on the pitching machines it’s also a little bit faster then you select so if you do 50 mph you get like 55 mph

  4. Fun for the kids. Fun for the adults. Great place to throw a birthday party. Clean facilities and safety is a priority.

Great place to play, learn, and practice baseball or softball hitting. Cages to rent for self pitch, or batting cages that pitch baseball, softball, slow pitch or fast pitch. Went for it first time and it was great. Maybe need a few more machine pitch machines as those were the only things being used while I was there.

Nice place. The front desk did not have customer service skills. Pitching machines throw too low or too high. I will avoid this location.

This was our first visit. Very nice, new facility. Machines were consistent which I have found not to be the same at all batting cages. Staff was friendly. Only negative is a very dark parking lot at night. Definitely need someone to add lighting to the parking lot.

Nice clean facility. Went for the first time to have my son and a friend hit from the pitching machines. The touchscreen at times errored on your selections and there is no edit or back button to modify so you essentially get a bum session (front desk help did give us some credits to make up for it so that was nice but easily avoidable IMO). Also, the auto feeder will run out of balls in the middle of your 15 pitches and it takes your whole credit without proceeding where you were or crediting you for a distripted session. Some type of warning for first timers needs to be posted or a system message needs to alert you prior to starting the machine if the balls are low. Also would be helpful for a floater to walk around helping people with machine issues. Only 1 person working behind the counter when you first walk in with no other support staff (Sunday). Overall I’ll go back on a rainy or hot day to get some cage sessions for my son but management can make some improvement tweaks especially for first timers. Easy stuff to improve upon. Glad to have a nice facility in the area. Good experience overall. My son loved it so that’s all that matters.

Like always, John at the front counter is super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend everyone to get a membership here, super easy to book cages on their website too. If your also looking for lessons, they do pitching, batting and catching lessons for all ages.

Ok cages, service level has declined over the past 12 months. Texelite prioritizes their select teams over making this location a true baseball facility open to all, which from a revenue perspective makes sense I’m guessing due to the fees they generate from the players. Their scheduling app is great for cages, but good luck booking a private lesson through it as from my experience you’ll have a 30% chance of having a seamless experience. More times than not booking a lesson is the beginning of a negotiation, so be prepared to be flexible to the point of showing up and your instructor isn’t even there (happened multiple times) or the lesson cage has been taken over by select team practice.

Came here for pitching lessons with Ryan. All of the instructors here that we talked with have been outstanding. If you need additional lessons for your kids, this is the place to go.

Mediocre at best. The facility is very small. I found D-bats down the road to be easy to get a cage for one or for a group, or lesson with professional well trained athletes.

This place is hard find, no name on the building or sign. It is behind a car bodyshop & smell fume. The cage rental,$20 comes with a helmet & a batt. Arrive on time or u lose time. I was late because couldn’t find the building. My play was only 20 min., included pick up ur own ball to refill the bucket. I will go Pflugerville batting cage next time.
