  1. The tour I received was very informative and I was surprised at all the amenities they offered. I was asked about my Mom and her needs and they were truly concerned of that. I spoke with some of the residents and they all were so proud of where they lived and loved all the social activities within the community. The apartments were well designed and spacious. And I loved that they had meal service with a menu and several options, with a wait staff. All in all, for the price and what is included, need to look any place else for my Mom. I know she will be very comfortable and safe there.

  2. CEDARHURST is amazing! I was invited there the first time about 6 months ago to help train a dog for a lady I met at church. This place is beautiful and all the employees are like family. I have been blessed to know a few more residents and even had meals with them in the dining area. The food is great and you have several choices at each meal. They even bring you a menu ! Let’s not forget about dessert, so delish 🙂
    I was amazed that this resort like residence was in Tulsa. There is even a huge salt water swimming pool that you can exercise in.
    My advice is to take a tour, ask about all the cool stuff you can get involved in , you may even meet some new friends during the tour ❤ The residents are always friendly and inviting others to activities like playing cards, dominoes or watching movies in the theatre room…it really is a theatre room ! The apartments and outdoor areas are beautiful. They are pet friendly so bring your little fur baby with you .
    Cedarhurst is very interested in its residents. They know all residents and pets by name and make the effort to know all the folks that visit.
    I could go on and on about all the amenities they offer but you should go see it for yourself.
    It really is 5 STAR living.

  3. Cedarhurst of Woodland Hills is fantastic and has been such a blessing for my mom. The staff truly care about the residents. They go above and beyond to make sure their residents are happy, safe, and involved. My mom raves about how good the food and menu selection has been the last several months. They serve fresh, healthy options rather than the typical institutional food. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my mom to call home. She loves her apartment and feels safe and comfortable there. She’s made some good friends as well. I highly recommend Cedarhurst of Woodland Hills!

  4. Cedarhurst felt just right not long after I walked in the door. The residents were friendly and welcoming. That spoke volumes to me. And the staff showed such an interest in meeting my needs. It was the 6th place I’d visited that day and without a doubt I knew it was the right place. I love it here!!!

    The facility is very clean and the staff are super friendly. I am pretty OCD on cleanliness and there was nothing identified as unacceptable. My dad was very well cared for and very comfortable while living there. The Executive Director is very prompt in answering questions and needs. Prairie Rose is a very safe environment for your loved one.

    Mom was at Prairie Rose for almost 12 years. She felt very comfortable and at home. There are many activities to participate in and off campus with transportation provided. Meals are good and other amenities that are enjoyable and helpful. The facility is very attractive and kept updated. The current manager, Megan, is very concerned and compassionate to the residents. She was very sensitive and helpful to our situation. There are some lovely people at Prairie Rose. Thumbs up to Prairie Rose!

    My parents moved to Prairie Rose several years ago because they lived in a different state and they had reached the age were it was important they be closer to me when they needed help. Several years later my mom passed away and my Dad felt he was surrounded by too many memories and moved. After his move he realized how much he loved being at Prairie Rose with all the friends and family he made while living there. He returned to spend the rest of his time there. The day he came in to the apartment and found Megan there waiting to greet him he said “I’m home.” While this last stay was brief as he too has now past, I know he felt comfort in being where he was. I also need to say the support and help I got from everyone at Prairie Rose during that time can not be expressed in words. I will be forever grateful to them.

    So far our experience has been good. My mom moved in just a couple months ago. Her apartment is really nice. She’s met many kind people, both residents and staff. There are a ton of things available each day for her to take part in. Right now she’s getting acquainted with her new surroundings. The staff has a good balance of encouraging her to participate and still giving her freedom to do what she wants. There’s a nice laundry room on each floor. The maintenance staff is helpful and kind. Same with the people who work in the dining room. One day my mom wasn’t answering her phone so I called the office. Right away they sent someone to check on her. She was in the dining room and had misplaced her phone. It was such a relief to know she was fine, especially since I live out of state. The only complaint I’ve heard from my mom is that sometimes the food isn’t the best. I’m sure it’s difficult to please everyone all the time. Overall, we are very pleased.

    Megan is the worst pathological liar there is. Do not believe a word she says. She will get you in there and take your money for an extra bonus in her pocket. She does not care about the residence well-being or safety at all. She will bring people in there that cannot care for themselves or on their death bed. All for that extra paycheck. I’ve caught her in several lies trying to cover up saying she never said that and will flip it back on you. She is very manipulative. Also uses the company card for her personal use as well. Please do not put your loved ones or people you care about in this facility.

    Words cannot express how grateful we are for the dedication, professionalism and thoughtfulness of the entire staff at Scandia. We moved mom in a few months ago and she loves it. The property is always immaculate, the courtyard is gorgeous and the apartments are very large. She has lived in a few places and she said she really loves living at Scandia. My mother would get overwhelmed at other places that had a large number of residents. Scandia is smaller and everyone knows each other. The staff makes not only the residents feel comfortable but makes the family feel like mom is in great, safe hands! I would recommend this community to anyone!

    Scandia is such a beautiful and peaceful place. I could feel it as soon as I walked in. The living spaces have such a great layout and the common areas are gorgeous! They plant new flowers every season, have laundry and trash services, elevators, grocery and errand services, and the staff are truly caring, kind and genuine. I’m an RN and I have seen a lot of retirement communities and this one goes beyond anything I’ve seen before! I would absolutely recommend Scandia in a heartbeat!

    This is a beautiful and safe place to be. Everything is so maintained as well as respectful and friendly. It is so comforting to know that anything you need will be taken care of. Walking through the courtyard is such a delight a huge water fountain and gorgeous flowers everywhere. The activities are done with such class. I love being a caregiver in such a peaceful atmosphere. Anyone would feel at home at Scandal.

    As a Financial Advisor that works with clients who are looking for a transition in the levels of care of their family, and want peace of mind, I want to build relationship with communities that offer what I would look for in a retirement community. Scandia has a beautiful, walkable layout, that exudes peace and security. The staff are pleasant, helpful and genuinely care about the residents. I strongly recommend visiting. Consider them when looking for a welcome place for that next phase of life.

    This is a beautifully gated retirement community in the heart of Tulsa providing privacy and easy access to restaurants and shopping. They have taken independent living to a new level by offering housekeeping, dining services, a chauffeur, grocery shopping and laundry services. They also have a theatre and community gathering area with coffee and cookies/games/parties. The apartment manager, CJ, is compassionate, friendly, and someone you can genuinely rely upon. The apartments are newly renovated and immaculately clean and spacious. This community is a must see!!
