What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I worked here as a waiter in the winter of 2014 until May of 2015, and had the chance to speak with most of the residents. Many are very pleased with apartment’s location, being close to a gas station and multiple churches, and not too far of a drive to downtown. The folks here are usually happy, and the managers of the home keep the interior nice and homey for the different seasons we encounter in Boise. This may not be the perfect place for everyone, but it manages to fit the bill for most. There are also many activities going on around the home, and it is not hard to find something new going on.

Very nice place. They also allow small dogs.

  2. My parent lived here for a couple of years before passing. It was clean, the food was great with wonderful loving service. The management was always accommodating when we came from out of town to visit.

  3. I am lucky enough to have a friend that works at Chateau de Boise, an assisted living facility. She has invited me on numerous occasions to participate in their activities or share a meal with her. Today I finally accepted her offer for lunch and I’m so grateful that I did.
Most of us go through life not really wanting to ever see a rest home or even an assisted living place.
This holds true for me anyway, but I’ve also always wondered what I was going to do when I get to that place in life that I too will need help with what I take for granted now.
Today was an eye-opener, to say the least, and extremely edifying. The residents have their own individual apartments which are a plus in my book. I need and enjoy my alone time and privacy.
All their meals are prepared by a qualified Chef, they are served in an uptown restaurant-style, and from the looks of things, (The place was pack, not one table not being used.) the residents gather daily at meals, crafts, and other events often.
A community within a larger community giving a more personal touch.
As I looked around the room I could only imagine the wealth of wisdom and knowledge they share with one another.
This made me want to be a part of it all. The good, bad, and ugly!
To sum it up, I no longer wonder what I will do when I can no longer do it by myself. I only hope I’ve got the financial wherewithal to pull it off.
Thank you Chateau de Boise for the lovely lunch and great conversation. I’m impressed!

  4. My mom feels safe and cared for at the Chateau. The staff, lead by Jill D, manager, are kind, respectful and show good humor. There does not seem to be a lot of turn over in staff. They stay. They know residents by name and help however they can, going beyond their job at the moment to provide service to residents and care givers. They practice healthy safety precautions and so far there has not been a confirmed case of COVID. They keep residents informed. There are many activities offered inside and bus trips as applicable.
    Love them!

  5. We found Chateau de Boise to be a safe and comforting place for my father-in-law. The staff is always so kind, they go out of their way to engage with the residence and as with most facilities they experience a lot of change however, they seem to try to incorporate the voice of the residents. I often would over hear their meetings on “how they can improve” which I found to be awesome. My father-in-law was initially reluctant to participate in activities but soon felt comfortable, relaxed and at home. The food was good enough, 3 balanced meals a day and a little snack bar which my father-in-law loved. Bravo to Team Chateau de Boise, please know how much y’all are appreciated!

We recently moved my mother into Independent Living at Garden Plaza. After reviewing several different senior living facilities, this one rises above the rest. Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful facilities and amenities. I couldn’t even happier with our choice, and my mother is happy and comfortable. Food services and cleaning staff are amazing. Moving in was fast and convenient. All in all a huge 5 star!

I visited many senior facilities for my mother in the Boise/Meridian area, and by far the best one is Garden Plaza of Valley View for many reasons. The exterior and interior are so beautifully appointed – it resembles an upscale ski lodge. The extensive lobby, dining room, gym, laundry room, common areas, elevators, etc. were all warm, inviting, spacious, attractive, and friendly. There are several floor plan options that would meet a variety of needs and tastes. The food is delicious – the international chef has been there for many years making sure the residents get tasty fresh meals. There are many interesting and fun activities available to keep the residents engaged and to create connections. Best of all, the staff are superb. I met with Lesly Cook (sales associate) several times and she is extremely accommodating, supportive, patient, and kind. She is so helpful with information, communication, and support during every step of this process. I would highly recommend visiting with Lesly and going on a tour of Garden Plaza if you are looking at senior facilities in this area.

My Dad lived here for 15 years. He made many good friends, and the staff was like family. All of the staff members from the house keeper that came to clean his room once a week, to the bus driver, the wait staff in the dinning room, the folks at the front desk, the managers and the activities director and more made him feel at home. Like family. When he got cancer, and had to go into assisted living, the staff there was equally as kind and careing. During the difficult time of his getting sick and passing, I was treated with the utmost kindness, compassion, respect and helpfulness. A large part of my heart is at Valley View, with the people who touched my Dad and I’s life. It’s a wonderful place to call home. I absolutly recommend Valley View.

I am a neighbor of Valley View and had a wonderful experience with a staff member yesterday. I approached two ladies on their break time and asked for some assistance. Without hesitation, Char, said she could take care of my problem and she did so immediately. It shows me that Valley View has high caliber employees who recognize the value in taking care of people’s needs. I am sure that the residents receive and appreciate that kind of care and concern from Char and others daily.

The residents make everyone feel so welcome. The dining experience is fabulous, just like eating in a regular restaurant with so many mix and match choices or you can have the featured menu of the day. ALWAYS delicious! I love that so many families enjoy the events like Grandparents Day, BSU home game parties, opera, dancing and so much more. Sherrie does an amazing job at providing the entertainment and activities that residents can choose to be active everyday. The lodge-like decor is exactly spot on with an Idaho feel with cozy stone fireplaces to beamed ceilings. I feel as if I am in the Sun Valley Lodge. The staff are exceptional and have said more than one occasion that “They are privileged to work in residents home”. They treat residents as if they were family. Way to go Garden Plaza!

STOP! I found the place! Come see for yourself! It’s not to good to be true. It’s true it’s beautiful and the staff is amazing. The facility is first class and its location preplanned to take advantage of extraordinary shopping, more dinning choices than one has days to visit. Come take a walk in the beautiful park directly across the street. Look me up I’m a new guest of 21 days Retired!

Bri is a true luxury community for 55+ adults. There’s so much to do from swimming, working out at the gym, or meeting up with friends for happy hour in the clubhouse. The staff are helpful, friendly, and truly care about everyone here at Bri.

We moved into Bri November 10th 2020 on the second day it opened. We had lived in Green Valley, AZ for 20 years, traveling to Meridian to visit our daughter Sandra and husband Zane. They had recommended that we move to Bri when it opened. We moved to The Lofts at Ten Mile waiting for Bri to open a year later. At first living at The Lofts we met Linsay the Executive Director to select our 5th floor unit overlooking Julius Kleiner Park. Subsequently both Linsay and Chelan (Social Director) showed us our mostly finished unit. A year later we moved to our 5th floor unit. The staff here Linsay, Chelan, Andy and Josh (Maintenance Directors), Karen (Community Director), Melissa (Food Service); all whom are very friendly and very helpful. We have met many friends at Bri’s Continental Breakfast. Bri has provided the opportunity to get Covid shots, including recent booster. We give Bri a 5 star ratings and plan to stay here for many years. Ron & Lila

My husband and I are loving our life at Bri! We recently sold our home and decided to give ‘over 55’ living a try. This place is absolutely beautiful with many amenities. The social scene is active and varied. The staff is professional and friendly. The location is so convenient with nearby shopping, restaurants and Meridian’s finest park, directly across the street. Our new community already feels like family!

We love our new apartment! We have such a beautiful view overlooking the park. The courtyards are beautiful with so many activities for us to enjoy. Lindsay and her Bri staff are the best. They all do such an outstanding job of making us feel special. Morning coffee and a beautiful continental breakfast to start our day off couldn’t be any better. What a great way for us to enjoy our retirement years.
