What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Prob the worst wash I’ve had here ever. I got the ultimate wash. Forget that prices are higher now, but the wash itself was awe full. I got white residue all along the side of the car. And the front looks like it didn’t even go through a wash. Vacuum was mediocre at best. Been going here for a decade but I think it’s time has come to an end.

  2. Paid $31 for the inside/outside cleaning, including dashboard, console, windows, vacuum… Speedy, at first, but had to vacuum out again because it was a poor job. Second time was definitely better but too an additional 15 min of waiting. Then I get in to see that the dashboard and gear shift was not done well either. I don’t have another 15 minutes to wait for them to get it right again. Pretty disappointed. I will stick with Love My Car in Germantown. They do an amazing job and I’ve never had to ask them to redo anything. It takes a bit longer but at least it’s done right.

  3. Total waste of money! Garbage! Will not be coming back. Horrible . Just left car wash and my car looks like this 😶 rude employees that can speak English. I will be charging this back on my credit card, be prepared to do the same!

  4. If it was possible to give no stars, I would even giving not a star is not justified…

My first rate and review at July, 27th, 2023 was deleted…

We just got back from vacation in the mountains. There were some paths flooded and we had to drive through there with our car.

At Juli, 27th, 2023 (5:30 p.m.) I drove directly to Flagship at 2100 Chapman Avenue in Rockville and wanted to have the car cleaned. The interior was already cleaned by myself and I still wanted the interior and exterior cleaning for just under 38 USD.

An employee looked at the car after I had communicated my request and, based on the “condition” of the car, told me that I should pay a surcharge of 20 USD in addition to the approx. 38 USD. When I asked why I should pay a surcharge of 20 USD, he told me that the car was dirty🤔

Yes of course the car is dirty; of course I don’t drive a clean car to Flagship to clean it, or?

However, since the car is “only” driven through the car wash and no employee has to use a sponge himself, the surcharge of 20 USD is cheeky and in no way justified…

If the car is cleaned from the outside by an employee, a surcharge might be justified. But asking a surcharge for automatic laundry is not acceptable…

So far (since 2020) I have had our car cleaned inside and out every 2 weeks at 2100 Charpman Avenue for just under 38 USD. So 76 USD per month (3 years x 76 USD = 2736 USD).

Due to the one-time requested surcharge of 20 USD you have now lost a loyal customer and from today I will be hand washing my car myself and you can be annoyed with lost income of approx. 2736 USD in the next 3 years… In the last one Year there was an increase in price, but the current total of 38 USD still remains 😉

Bad service and this is just a rip off for 1 time 20 USD…

  5. There is no 0 that’s why I put 1, don’t go there, try different one, thay charge me $36 for nothing, they broke flor Matt holder as well.

What Services Do You Get in a Touchless Car Wash?

Touchless car wash refers to a type of car wash that uses high-pressure water jets and cleaning agents to remove dirt, grime, and debris from a vehicle’s exterior without the need for brushes or physical contact. This method is generally considered safer for a vehicle’s paintwork, as it minimizes the risk of scratches or swirl marks that can occur with traditional car washes.

Here are the services typically included in a touchless car wash:

  • Pre-wash: The process usually begins with a pre-wash to remove loose dirt and debris from the vehicle’s surface. This step helps prepare the car for the main wash.
  • High-pressure water jets: In a touchless car wash, high-pressure water jets are used to blast away dirt, grime, and other contaminants from the car’s exterior. These jets are capable of reaching difficult-to-reach areas, including wheel wells and crevices.
  • Cleaning agents: Specialized cleaning agents are added to the water to help break down stubborn dirt and remove tough stains. These agents are applied in a controlled manner to ensure optimal cleaning without damaging the vehicle’s paintwork.
  • Rinse: After the main wash, the vehicle is thoroughly rinsed with clean water to remove any remaining cleaning agents and debris.
  • Drying: To achieve a streak-free finish, touchless car washes often use forced air or blowers to dry the vehicle’s exterior. This step helps eliminate water spots and reduces the need for manual drying.
  • Additional services: Some touchless car washes may offer additional services, such as undercarriage cleaning, tire shine, wax application, or interior vacuuming.

Overall, touchless car washes provide a convenient and efficient way to keep vehicles clean without the risk of damage often associated with traditional car wash methods. They are particularly popular among car owners who value the appearance and condition of their vehicles.

Best car wash in town! My car is always shiny and they do a great job with the interiors. If I ever have a concern the managers are happy to help!! Free vacuums with every wash and they have membership options as well. When talking to owner, she said it’s been a family owned business for 35 years, that’s amazing! Tip: they dog treats!!

I used to come here all the time as a kid and come back whenever I’m in town, but unfortunately the quality has really gone down. The wash is fine, for the price. You get a nice sparkle and shine at first glance, but then when you really start to look you’ll see the streaks on the car and brake dust still in the wheels. I wouldn’t recommend the interior detailing because it lacks exactly that, the details. You’re better off just using the free vacuums (which is nice) and wiping down the car yourself. They do an ok job but then when you really start to look you see all the things that didn’t get cleaned like cup holders, dash, steering wheel, etc. I found streaks and water stains on the inside of the windows, fibers from the towels they use, and again, just no attention to detail. Would recommend if you need a quick clean, but that’s about it.

This place keeps my car in beautiful looking condition with the Gold Unlimited Wash plan! I enjoy the service, as well. They are good at helping newbies (aka me) learn the process until the newbie understands what to do. Only downfall is my license plate doesn’t get picked up by the scanner properly, so the rep has to type my plate in manually each time.

Terrible terrible job. I paid for the Gold Package. Expecting more than a Gas Station Automated wash. Left water stains and spots behind didn’t dry the car well. And still asked for a tip. Don’t go here

First time here. I wish I knew about this place sooner. For an express wash costs $12 and Flagship $18. I only needed an express wash bc of the pollen. It got a little busy when I arrived at 11:30 am ish. To enter the car wash it’s a tight and narrow. They need a sign for cars to actually stop at a distance. I had to reverse a bit to align my car with the rotator. The car behind me was way too close. Dude – back up a little bit. Employees were assisted from beginning to end. At the end the car wash there was someone to dry my car. Thank you!

I have unlimited car washes that allows me to wash my car once a day. It’s just a little expensive than locations in VA. They also don’t do vacuum inside, but you can do it yourself (which is common in VA car Washes).

Other than that, very convenient and friendly staff.

NOT A TOUCHLESS CARWASH Drove 30 min, passed by similar carwashes. Naturally I shared my disappointment to the associate only to be told “it is what it is, if you are not comfortable with proceeding you can try another place anyhow we close in 30 min and wouldn’t be able to the interior of your vehicle”.

Rude management. Overpriced, twice as much for one can have at the gas station. Very light wasj for $12. It took less than 1 min. Have my windshield wipers almost damaged. Do not use this carwash if you have a new car with the latest technology. Had to go back to a dealer to fix the issue. Nobody from the carwash even follow through or appologize. Used to be a good place.

Nothing “touchless” about this carwash establishment. The name of their business is totally misleading. By the time you’re going through the carwash you will realize that this is just a regular carwash with brushes. What a shame that a business would intentionally falsely lure an unaware customer. The photo posted showing a brushless carwash is not of this carwash location!

How to Protect Your Car’s Paint After a Car Wash

Keeping your car clean is important for both its appearance and its value. But even after you get your car washed, it’s important to take steps to protect the paint job. Here are some tips on how to protect your car’s paint after a car wash:

  • Wax your car regularly. Waxing your car creates a protective barrier that helps to repel dirt, grime, and other contaminants. This will help to keep your car’s paint looking its best for longer.
  • Use a microfiber cloth to dry your car. Microfiber cloths are soft and won’t scratch your car’s paint.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals on your car. Harsh chemicals can strip away the wax and sealant from your car’s paint, leaving it vulnerable to damage.
  • Inspect your car after every car wash. Inspect your car for any damage, such as scratches or swirl marks. If you see any damage, report it to the car wash immediately.

Here are some additional tips to protect your car’s paint after a car wash:

  • Avoid washing your car in direct sunlight. The sun can dry the water on your car’s paint too quickly, which can cause water spots.
  • Don’t over-wash your car. Washing your car too often can strip away the wax and sealant, leaving it vulnerable to damage.
  • Park your car in the shade. Parking your car in the shade will help to protect its paint from the sun’s harmful rays.

Here are some additional products that can help protect your car’s paint:

  • Paint sealant: Paint sealant is a clear coat that helps to protect your car’s paint from the elements.
  • Car wax: Car wax is a type of polish that helps to protect your car’s paint and give it a shine.
  • Waterless car wash: A waterless car wash is a type of car wash that uses a spray-on solution to clean your car without the need for water.

These products can help to protect your car’s paint from the elements and keep it looking its best for years to come.
