I am very satisfied with the service, flexibility, and results of ship shape. From a business , have noticed that vehicles are treated with respect when they are kept clean. Highly recommend ship shape for your business.4 months agoNot what it used to be!! Two of their spinning brushes haven’t worked properly for two months. I accepted it as normal the first couple times but it has not changed. And the guys that guide you into the car wash wish they weren’t there and they hardly spray your vehicle and this shows when you are through the car wash. Something changed and it isn’t for the good of this business!!2 months agoBased on the cost of a detail compared to what it was a couple years ago. Their quality of job has not improved and their prices increased quite a bit. Not worth it to get detail, quality is low for the cost. Not very impressed. Used to be a cheap alternative to a regular detail shop. What a run down dump this place has become. I used the Touch Free wash and it was not only dirty and run down but it did a horrible job. So much so, I bought an unlimited monthly membership at Ship Shape Car Wash with locations in Onalaska and La Crosse. I try to keep her as dirt free as possible, so that she looks good when I am out earning a living. Seemed like a pretty good deal… unlimited monthly washes for a single monthly price. Unfortunately, this morning, I took her to the Ship Shape in Onalaska, opting for the “soft-touch” wash at about 8:30am(May 14th, 2022). The washing was anything but “soft” and left me with half a hood full of ugly scratches that will now have to be repaired. I am saddened as with every undeserved-scratch my beloved beamer receives, is like a cut to my heart. I thought I would let my lil emoji friends portray my emotions for each batch of terrible scratches. By the time I got to inspecting the back of the hood, (I was also finishing my morning coffee) I felt numb inside… I thought it was best to pass along this warning, that if you are looking to baby your beloved wheels, perhaps the “soft-touch” option at Ship Shape Car Wash in Onalaska, WI is not the best plan.. I will be opting for the “no-touch” option from here out and attend to the waxing and polishing by my own careful hands. The big sign about Ship Shape Car Wash not being responsible for damage to our cars is a haunting reminder of what a true gamble this can be… hopefully your odds are better than mine. There’s a “Laundromat grand opening” sign in the window but the whole place is covered in grime and dirt. Everything covered in filth and so many old dryer sheets everywhere on the floor. This is not a “no one’s gotten in to clean up today” kind of thing. It does not get this gross in an afternoon. Also, the machines are ancient and look like they came from someone’s grandma’s basement or something.2 weeks agoThe jeep needed a wash sooooo badly driving all of these dry, limestone, dirt rural roads. It would have taken forever to wash it by hand.
