  1. Hands down the best academy around! I recently started training here after training at another place for a year and a half. Professor Jason is an amazing instructor. He really takes the time to make sure his students are getting top notch training. His attention to detail and the way he teaches is suitable for beginners to advanced grapplers. Pride Lands has a great team and family atmosphere too.

  2. I started training at Pride Lands in June of 2018 with about six months of prior Jiu Jitsu training background. Since then I’ve tried to make it into three training sessions per week. From the level of overall experience on this mat, and the commitment of Professors Jason and Paul I have become more than proficient as a beginner and I am competing in my first tournament next month. (NAGA World Championship) Thank you to Jay, Paul and the entire team. Dark side, RGA, Donaher Deathsquad, etcetera, etcetera… 👊🏾 Come check it out and become a stronger, smarter version of you.

  3. I’ve known Jason Ratchford for many years and have been training at Pridelands for the past four. His instruction is second to none, you won’t find anyone better. Great training partners. Jason is focused on bringing out the best of every single one of his students. This is an excellent school for all levels of grappling.

  4. You will not find a gym with a better coach and better training partners. They are welcoming to everyone who steps foot on that mat regardless of age, gender, skill level, etc. The goal is to make YOU better every time you show up. There are no egos and everyone here is a team. When I started training here 3 years ago, I believed that I was investing in myself. It has positively impacted every part of my life and has saved my life in my employment on more than one occasion. Training at Pridelands will make you more confident, improve your overall health, and create lasting friendships with a great group of people.

    I have been training with Jeff and the GracieNepa family since 2005/2006 range. As an instructor, you will not find a better teacher in the area. The curriculum is broken down month by month as if you were taking a collegiate / masters class. There are classes for children, beginners, as well as advanced. Jeff is in charge of them all and will guide your journey from day 1. On a personal level, my wife and daughter have entered the GracieNepa family in the past year and I would not trust their journey with just anyone. It is very family centered and I know they are in a great, friendly atmosphere with great instruction. I could go on and on between the teaching, atmosphere, etc., but if you at all are interested in starting this jiu jitsu journey, PLEASE contact Jeff, or any of the other GracieNepa instructors, and you will see why this is the best around.

    The best place to train in the area, the staff is amazing, and does a really great job preparing you for whats next. If you’ve ever considered learning a martial art, and jujitsu in particular, this is the place and the time is right now; so just go and check it out, you’ll never regret being there. Also the kids programs are amazing, it really prepares them to face all the challenges that come with adolescence head on.

    Have been training here for several years. It is by far the most effective and friendly BJJ school around. Jeff is an excellent instructor. I have been to countless law enforcement trainings across Pennsylvania and Jeff is not only a black belt in BJJ but is also a black belt in his excellent communication skills.

    I have been training with Jeff for 8 years and can say that he is a great instructor and friend. The whole group at Gracie NEPA is like family. I have traveled all over the U.S. to train and Jeff is one of the top instructors hands down. He has a great ability to break techniques and strategy down so that everyone can understand and execute. You will not find a more friendly and welcoming place!

    This place curses you with a contract and expect payment for services no longer used. Any company that expects payment for services not used is equal to robbery. Any country that makes laws that support not we the people but rather companies to take money from people who no longer use their services is no longer working for we the people but catering to companies. NEVER AGAIN> I wash my hands from greedy businesses who don’t care when “LIFE” happens, i.e. loss of job, financial difficulty. MMA won’t provide their services to you unless you sign the “CURSED” contract . You’ll pay whether you show up or not for an entire year. It’s straight up robbery. No different than a thief. It’s IMMORAL. How can anyone demand payment for a service a person no longer uses? How can any state or country support such an immoral clause? Bamboozled.

    Amazing place! The staff are all very nice and it’s clean. My son goes here for Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing. The instructors are great and taylor the classes to each person’s strengths and weaknesses. Convenient location right off the highway too!

    I recommend anyone and everyone to join this gym, very clean, very nice people between the teachers and students, very informative. It feels like giant family. Even tho I can no longer attend due to me moving I will forever recommend this place.

    Had really high hopes for this place for my boys. Unfortunately there is no structure in the kids program & kids just go wild and it’s basically just handing them money and that’s all they care about. My boys were here twice and we were charged for 2 months even though I asked them not to because we all had Covid & my one son ended up in the er for days.They’re a joke & money hungry. Not to mention they’re filthy. Never cleaning their mats or anything.
