My path to Black-Belt is full of tradition, learning self-discipline, appreciating family value and incorporating this with each competition. Mayo Academy is great place for kids and adults to learn martial arts. Very family oriented! Our kids have been coming for about a year and have learned so much. We’ve seen them grow both personal and physical. They’ve met new friends, get a great workout and learned self-discipline and hard work. Specially during these last few months with the pandemic, it has given them something to focus on. Would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place to work out and make lasting friendships. Great addition to the Woodhaven community!
Mayo academy is an amazing place where everyone treats you like family. My children learned different fighting skills as well as discipline in a safe environment by profesional trainers with many years of experience. I encourage everyone to join or sign your kids up.
The Mayo Academy is an amazing academy. Being part of this academy it’s like being part of a big welcoming family. The dojo is the perfect place for children to strengthen their confidence as well as their bodies. Its a warm, family oriented place that supports development. My son loves coming here. We have been coming here for about 9 months and in this time I have seen my son grow both physically and mentally. He exercises, learns self defense techniques as he makes long lasting friendships.
Absolutely love Mayo Academy!! Sensi Sonny and Sensi Lanie are amazing teachers who really care about their students. You always feel welcomed in a positive, family oriented environment. Besides learning great self defense techniques you get a full body workout. My son is more confident and has so much more energy now. Would highly recommend Mayo Academy.
