What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. With 14 years of professional fitness/personal training/group fitness experience, I give this operation 5 stars. It is an open, family-friendly spot with an awesome array of classes: beginner to more advanced, drilling to sparring. Whether you want to hit with or without gloves, or roll with or without a GI, Soulcraft has you covered. The facility is clean, well heated, and open for MMA. I’ve been a member of other MMA locations in the past, and I feel Soulcraft has facilitated my advancement very well by offering ease in training options.

The member base is fantastic, and everyone was exceedingly friendly when they recognized me as new, and welcomed me right in. You get a community at Soulcraft. I don’t have children, but I love how many families are using this place (Soulcraft even offered parents a couple hours of child supervision on Valentine’s Day!); I also appreciate the community event emails that go out to the members. If you are serious about MMA, don’t worry–the kids clear out and the adults come in and sparring is a thing.

Lots of parking, and located next to convenience shops like gas, a supermarket, and drug stores. Soulcraft has been easy for me to squeeze into my busy schedule.

  2. Really great gym with a uniquely welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Been training here for close to ten years and the instructors have always been super professional and safety conscious. Especially well suited for families that want classes for adults and kids, which you don’t see a lot. Highly recommend for beginners and advanced bjj

  3. I had an amazing experience training at Soulcraft. Brad and the rest of the instructors have created an amazing training environment for their students. I only trained there for a year, because I moved back to California, but I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a place to start or continue training BJJ.

  4. As a new member, I have found all of the instructors and higher belts to be extremely helpful and patient when introducing and breaking down techniques. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is just starting out.

  5. Wish I lived closer so u could visit more often. Brad is a fantastic instructor and has foster an amazing school culture. I can’t recommend this place enough.

I’d give six stars if it was an option. I joined FAA about one year ago at 30 years old with no martial arts experience. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, welcoming but also stern and effective. The culture is fantastic, people are close, root for eachother and work together to improve. Whether you’re a fighter in your young 20’s or a parent in their 50’s there’s classes that fit what you’re looking for, as long as you’re up to the challenge. I only wish I would have joined sooner.

Been going to FAA for a little over two months. The coaching is top tier. Nick is an amazing and motivational coach who is looking to have everyone reach their goals. Everyone there is out to better one another. No matter what your goal, FAA is the place to go.

This is one of the best places I have ever been to. As a newcomer, and someone new to the martial arts practiced here, all the instructors have been very open and upfront with me. They speak from a place of authority without talking down to anyone. They were not only patient and took the time to help me learn personally, but it is also apparent that they work to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere. They made sure that I was able to participate in whatever activity I was able to be a part of and paired me with people that could work with me and show me what to do. Above all, this place is very inclusive of all people. I am so grateful that I found this place and have the opportunity to study here. So far, all of the other students have also been happy to show me what they know and help me learn. I could hang out here every day.

Pulling up to the 6:00 PM kickboxing class is one of my favorite things to look forward to when I get finished at the office. Nick Newell is one of the most talented, inspirational and kind athletes I’ve ever met. I stink and he helps me every step of the way… I’m proud to wear my jersey anywhere I go and talk about FAA. Any age, any level of skill or athletics, there is a team of professionals to help you drop your bad habits and leave with a smile. I can’t make it as often as I’d like, but when I do it feels comfortable on the mats.

Whether you’re new to MMA looking to learn and get in shape, or experienced and hoping to pursue your amateur and professional fighting goals there’s no better gym in the state. The coaches and team around always push you to become the best version of yourself. Great for any age or experience level.

Kickboxing has changed not only my habits but also my 2 older sons. We have noticed that we have more energy and have lost weight. Our eating habits have even changed to a healthier diet. The studio is always very clean and the instructors are amazing!!… They are very dedicated and sincere on motivating you to get through the workouts. We are strengthening our bodies and getting fit! I look forward to getting my workout in during the week and feel great, especially after a hard day’s work. I have been able to use kickboxing as a stress reducer in my stressful life! I recommend it to anyone of any age or size. The staff is very energetic and helpful and it makes you want to come back!! Join Today and start to feel great!!

The instructors show you that they really care and show you how to do everything correctly. They also take every client seriously and are interested in seeing everyone improve. I have done programs like p90x and insanity in the past but kickboxing has definitely been the best workout and the best decision I have ever made in my fitness journey. I feel better than ever! I strongly recommend people at least trying it out. I know everyone will fall in love!

Danielle & Nancy instruct a phenomenal youth class! They have so much patience when teaching their class & have taught my kiddo so much in such a short time. My 4yr old is really enjoying our 2wk trial class. Unfortunately, im unable to continue due to our schedule conflicts (work ends at 4ish, the drive takes 25-30 min, her school ends at 430. At 430 is when this class starts so we can’t continue for the year-its a years membership also so I wasn’t able to commit to that with my schedule) but if youre local and can manage this time frame, its such a great class to let your kids join! Im a mom to a bouncy, won’t stand still, hears me when they wanna, energetic kid so I def recommend the class. I can already tell they’ve made such a difference in not just my kid having patience but also her love of this martial art style.

Absolutely love this place. From the staff to the other patrons – everyone is friendly and more than happy to help out a newbie. After 6 months I accomplished my weight loss goals, met a great number of awesome people and recently renewed my contract as I plan to be there a long time. Being a total novice to martial arts and physical activities in general, I have been blown away by the patience shown and the knowledge bestowed upon me from everyone I’ve encountered at Aiki. Highly recommend joining us!

My 8 year old son attends Aiki Academy and he loves his Sambo class. It is the only thing he showed any kind of interest in doing. The instructors are so great with the kids and everyone there always makes you feel so welcome like you are a member of their family. We love it there so much that now my husband takes the KB Meltdown classes and my daughter has started in the Little Ninjas class and loves it. If you are interested in taking any type of martial arts classes or even fitness classes I highly recommend looking into Aiki Academy. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
