What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. We went just before dinner rush on a Tuesday so there was no waiting for us but for those coming in as we left there was. Our server John was quick and efficient and even took the time to ensure my 60something mother knew how to pull up the menu using Google lens. My drink was simple screwdriver with Tito’s as it costs the same as house vodka $7 (very reasonable) and my mom who wanted decaf coffee was lucky enough to get a fresh pot brewed for her by John who wanted to be sure she was too get something fresh. Even though I had WLS in 2012 I still love food and want to be sure that the bites I do eat I enjoy… So I wanted to have a few oysters but nothing big as an entree. They were very accommodating and understanding as I was able to order off the children’s menu. Now you’d think a kids cheese burger and wedges is made to be tasteless as kids will eat anything. However I can tell you that my burger although a large kid’s sized one was seasoned, juicy and flavorful. My mom got the steak with bacon wrapped asparagus and cheddar mashed potatoes and it was cooked perfectly and yummy!! It’s been a while since I’ve been to The Boynton but after today’s experience I’ll be back!!

  2. This place has different beers selections. What I like the most were the local ones with their different ‘flavors’. You really should try them. Food was very good. The one that I like the most was the lobster Rangoon, it was so delicious. They also serve you a good amount of food so be prepared to eat a lot or bring back home! In general I had a good time here with my husband, music wasn’t that loud so we could talk and the waitress was also very attentive. They even have someone in the parking lot who helps you to park! So you don’t have to look where to park for minutes as he helps you to park in an open space. We had pastrami burger, shrimp tacos (with mango 🤤) an appetizer which had everything! Lobster Rangoon, onion rings, buffalo wings… and some other things. And as a “little gift” a little bottle of tabaco sauce which I didn’t use I brought it home because was so cute 😂.

  3. We got a 5 Star here says the better half!
We started our late afternoon delight with a Guinness and a Mixer as we Browsed the menu, we started our meal with an Amazing appetizer the handmade pita chips and spinach dip followed up by The Buffalo, A white dill pizza topped off with Strips of buffalo chicken and their cheese blend. We will definitely be returning to the Boynton in Worcester Massachusetts thank you for having us ❤️

  4. Went here about a month ago after an evening hockey game. We needed some real food from a place opened late. Needless to say when we got there. The place was packed with a small wait list around 1040pm. The place had a good restaurant atmosphere, busy… staff working all around. So they seated us after about 10 to 15 minutes wait and from there they were consistent with coming to check into with us frequently. So we started off with an appetizer and some drinks. The appetizer was
    Pita Chips
$9, Deep fried Greek Pita is topped with our famous cheese blend, melted and served with sour cream and salsa… it was really good! Would definitely get it again.

So for the drinks the girlfriend ordered the mudpie martini which was amazingly delicious but very strong and for myself I got the blood orange rum punch which was delicious as well but not as strong as hers.

As for the main course, I got the
    Marinated Beef Tips
$26, 10oz Pan Seared Sirloin Beef Tips, topped with mushroom and caramelized onion demi-glace with Mashed potatoes and Broccoli.
-the dish is one I dont see to often, the tips were done perfect with a night pink center and the demiglaze was delicious, perfect amount on the tips and a little left for the mashed potatoes. I would definitely get this again..

    the girlfriend got the
    Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
$21, Fresh chicken tenders, garlic, and broccoli in a creamy parmesan sauce with penna
-as expected with an Alfredo, it was made good, no issues, but you know what your expecting with this dish

Overall, the staff did a good job. The atmosphere was good and the food and drinks were great to.. I would totally go back if were ever out that way again. 5 stars!

  5. We came here on our date night 2 weeks ago, our two servers attended all our requests and made us feel so welcome. It was extremely busy, as we’ve been warned, but we got a seat with no wait and had a nice seat tucked between various lively guests. We got the Lobster Risotto, Bang Bang Shrimp and the Blackened Swordfish along with some cocktails and beer. The food was top notch, vast seafood menu and Sushi. We definitely want to visit again, especially for summer. Thank you again for a wonderful experience

An excellent place to visit when you’re in town. I have to admit that the seafood here is super fresh and flavorful. All the dishes came out amazing and delicious. Our host Marie is super friendly, nice and funny! She made our dinner meal much more enjoyable with her wits and jokes. I will definitely be back when I come visit Massachusetts next time. Tips: make sure you call to make a reservation ahead of time because you don’t want to wait in a long line. I definitely recommend their fresh oysters and shrimp cocktails the most!

Excellent service and food. Got our water right away and submit our order. The appetizer came within a minute or two. The salads came just a few minutes after I finished my appetizer, then we got our dinner right way as well. The servers brought water frequently to keep our glasses full, and made sure we got everything we needed. The service could not have been better. My dad complains that the portions were too large. (He’s 90.). I enjoyed the tuna poke appetizer. The wedge salad was perfect, as was my haddock. Nice to save a little money thanks to “restaurant week.”

I came here to give a raw oyster a 2nd chance (perfect timing it turns out, during oyster month!), as well as snag my last lobster roll before going back west. The oyster was good, though I can’t say too much having only now had 2. The broth in the oyster was SO AGGRESSIVELY salty, I don’t know how I feel about it. I do, however, absolutely love the smooth creamy texture of the actual oyster. It really isn’t that fishy as much as a great smooth texture. Mine did have a few crunchy bits in it, not sure if that is common but my 1st oyster from somewhere else was 100% smooth. Their lobster roll was not something to rave about, with a bit chewy of lobster and overall a bit tiny and overflowing from the roll instead of being stuffed securely inside. Fries nice and crispy! Only other issue was that my wife doesn’t like seafood and I am sad to see they have such a HUGE menu and extraordinarily few non-seafood options.

My new favorite fine dining experience in Worcester. Ernie, my server, really made the experience worthwhile I was seated quickly and placed my order right away after a number of excellent recommendations. My first course the tuna app – was an excellent value for the price. It tasted fresh and left me wanting more food, exactly what an app is supposed to do. It is available on both the lunch and dinner menu. The salad that came with my meal also tasted great. The real hero of the night was the Salmon. Excellent crispy skin and paired with a delicious sauce, it really made me wonder why I hadn’t visited the Sole Proprietor in the past. It is far better and priced more reasonably than Sonoma or even its sister restaurant Chop House. I will be coming back soon and recommending it to many.

Excellent Lunch! Bang Bang Shrimp was lightly coated in sauce and not overpowering. Hot Buttered Lobster Roll was excellent as were the Ultimate Margaritas. Not many non seafood items but a few options for those less seafood enthused.

Atmosphere was cool, diner style seating, stickers on wall were fun to look at. Server was nice and helpful with the menu. Food was delicious and fresh. The Chicken Mediterranean omelet and Fenway was delicious and the waiter was right to suggest the beans. The grilled banana and the crunchy French toast was tasty. We ordered too much food but enjoyed tasting several good food options.

Incredible staff, they were so friendly and attentive. They kept the coffee and conversation flowing. But the food is absolutely delicious, the portions are enormous, and the price is more than fair. We went for the Hawiian Eggs Benny, unique and delicious! But the winner of the day was the breakfast sandwich with banana French toast, sweet, savory, divine! The lovable, gigantic Great Dane was also a very welcome addition to the visit. 15 out of 10, definitely going back.

Excellent spot for a unique breakfast. This is a revamped box car diner. So uncomfortable seats, tight quarters, and a bathroom that requires a key and hiking shoes. But what it does have is excellent food, a crazy menu and great atmosphere. Price is what it should be $10-20 per plate. Parking is not terrible but tough at times. We’ll be back for sure as you can only eat so much and there is several more options I’d like to try

Old school diner at it’s best! Small place with limited seating so be prepared to wait as the food is worth it. Also they only take cash or venmo. They do have an ATM inside. Very kitschy decor, lots of stickers, pin-up girls and biker ads give lots of things to look at while you’re waiting on your food. Which is the only negative. The server and guy behind the counter are awesome. They brought lots of coffee and checked on us often. The food was delicious, we had the everyday special and the usual. Eggs were perfect, rye toast and hash browns too! Just needs to get done a little quicker. Everything said this is a great place for breakfast!

Really good food. There is no doubt is a Worcester must. You have to be early, about 30 min before you need to eat. It’s a popular place and often you’ll need to make a line or wait for your food to be served as it’s almost always full. That’s a good thing 🙂
