What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Pro: The food and service here are pretty spectacular and fast to say the least. I was treated with respect by everyone.

Pro: Desserts looked good and had reasonable prices but I was too stuffed to try it.

Con: The waitress forgot our bread and the chicken in my daughters pesto

Pro: She did keep checking on us and corrected the mistakes right away.

    Pro: the servings are enormous

Con: The salad bar was pretty much the same as other salad bars

Pro: They serve this delicious green pasta that I’ve never tried before.

Con: Flies at both salad bars

Con: very crowded restaurant and no social distancing

Big con: The biggest issue that I had was that the bathrooms are either side of one of the food bar. It was embarrassing coming out of the bathroom to find people serving their food. The smell of toilet was next to the food. It’s just not sanitary. I won’t be dining in again.

  2. First time trying this place. Overall the service was great! The food was good. Prime rib was the best. I really enjoyed the grilled flavor. Fried calamari was tender and tasty.

  3. First time trying Angelina’s on recommendation from my grandmother-in-law. Went with a party of five around 3:30 in the afternoon and was seated quickly. The interior is nice with big open booth seating that was partitioned off to make a nice private dining experience. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with spaghetti and meat sauce as my pasta side, and I also chose the salad bar option. Our server was very nice and attentive, taking our order quickly and always on top of our drinks. The salad bar was well stocked and very clean. All the ingredients looked and tasted very fresh! One thing that stood out to me was the difference in their sauce bases, very different from the tomato based sauces I am used to at most Italian restaurants. It was different but I really enjoyed it! The Chicken Parmesan was perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy the way it should be!

  4. I loved this place!! The pasta sauce is so good and real Authentic, like real homemade spaghetti sauce from a Italian mom or grandma. Yes it’s in Stockton, so get in, get out, don’t go anywhere else. Angelina’s has their own parking lot

  5. Love the ravioli and spaghetti with meat sauce and of course a to die for vanilla ice cream on chocolate filled ravioli and the service is really good as well! Thanks Marla would definitely come back with my whole family, the an hour and half travel is worth it!

There wasn’t one thing to complain about with this restaurant. Excellent food, large portions, lots to choose from and excellent service. Our food came to our table quick as well. Very decent prices too. If you like Cajun/ New Orleans food, you need to eat here. So glad I found you! This time around we had fried green tomatoes, the Dixie land steak melt and the Cajun style eggs Benedict…so so good!

This is my new breakfast spot! The stacked chicken n waffles was delicious. The Cajun style eggs Benedict were also very good. Friendly staff, very clean and great food. A must try for breakfast or lunch!

Pictures were deceiving. Came here with high expectations from the photos and reviews, but was disappointed unfortunately. Breakfast meats could be better. Pancakes were doughy. Not a fan of sour dough French toast, due to overpowering flavor. Now this is just my and my friends opinion, but we most likely won’t be back.

A place like home! Great food, friendly and sweet service with smiles. I love the menu, everything has a little spice to it. Fried green tomatoes are one of my childhood favorites and they did them justice! I’ll likely return as it’s my 95yo grandad’s go-to place 💜

I recommend their fried green tomatoes. Wait staff is excellent friendly and attentive. The food presentation was lack luster. The crabcake and salad has too much breading not enough crab. The cucumbers were freezer burnt, cut haphazardly and the tomatoes were over ripe. Mississippi Skillet was not served hot. However the taste okay but looked like it was a pile of throw up.

We were looking for a place to enjoy something we haven’t tried in a while for breakfast and found this place. Frankly when we reached there we were in two minds if the place would be good but to our surprise the food and the friendliness won us over. Every bite of the food was well worth its weight and the owner of the restaurant was so down to earth and added to this experience. If you happen to be in town do pay them a visit.

Great experience but a little hard to find. When you check Google for directions it takes you to their old address. I had to call to find out that they were in a different business which is fine but they should at least have a sign at the old place letting people where they’re at. We would’ve went somewhere else but we’re from AZ and my group really wanted to try it. I will say once we got there, the food and service was amazing. Great place to have brunch with friends and family.

Heard from a friend that this restaurant was good and decided to visit since my family was in town. We got there and told us the wait was about 30 mins, we went outside the area and just strolled around waiting for the time. We came back and was told that it will be another 20 minutes again. We finally got seated, we ordered savory crepes and a poboy and some beignets .The food was good had to put extra salt to add some more flavor. The hot sauce is not spicy but more sour. The wait staff where very friendly but you could tell they were overworked and stressed trying to catch up with the restaurant. OVERALL: Food was good highlight was the beignets with caramel sauce NEGATIVE: Wait times. Waited 30 just to have to wait again for another 20z

Haven’t been here in a while. Met my aunt and cousins for breakfast. My hubby and I were a little late as everyone else had been seated and had coffee and beignets before we arrived. Our server took a while to acknowledge us. Another staff person gets us and got our drink orders, but never came with our waters and coffees. Our server finally came and asked what we would like to drink so we again ordered waters and coffees. He returned about 15 minutes later to take our food orders; he still didn’t have our drinks. After another 15 minutes, we finally got our water and coffees. Our meals came and the plates were beautiful. Hubby had the Dixieland crepe and I had the Traditional Breakfast. The crepe had a nice, sweet taste and the fresh strawberries were great. The Traditional Breakfast was good, nothing special. I was really excited to try the Johnnycakes as one rarely finds these on the menu. I was expecting them to have a sweet corn flavor, but they tasted like regular pancakes, so I was disappointed. I only gave 3 stars because I felt that the service was not great. We had to wait for our beverages as well as wait on refills. My hubby got a refill on his coffee, but I didn’t and I wasn’t even offered a second cup. Though the food was good, my breakfast was average. My cousins said their crepes were great, so I’ll try those next time.
