What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. It was a Wonderful experience at First Watch. Breakfast and lunch, both or Brunch was very delicious. It was a busy Sunday but there were plenty of tables, did not have to wait for a long time to get one. The place was nice and clean. Staffs are nice. I highly recommend First was for Brunch.

  2. My wife and I went here for brunch and to say it was absolutely amazing seems like an understatement! We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the chickichanga which were both to die for! Our server Annie was extremely attentive and friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. Would HIGHLY recommend for a great experience and a health conscious meal!

  3. Can’t say enough about First Watch. Excellent food, excellent service, great aesthetics.

We started out with decaf coffee, there was plenty of creamer supplied on the table and two sugar options, raw and a substitute. They left the carafe for us at the table. I ordered the Superspeed Protein Pancakes, probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had in all my 51 years. The flavor was a great balance of nutty and fruity, it came with a delicious fruit compote on the side. I still added syrup because I don’t like my cakes dry. My husband had The Works Omelette with house potatoes for his side. He mentioned the toast, that it was crispy on the outside but pillow soft inside, and the whipped butter was the perfect glaze. They brought water with our meal and left the cutest jar with extra if we needed it.

Each staff member we came into contact with was genuinely friendly, all smiles. They checked on us only once, which I liked because I can’t stand it when staff asks how we’re doing every five minutes. My logic says that if you’ve done your job right the first time, there’s no need to constantly ask how someone’s doing.

As you can see from the photos, First Watch is simply decorated. While I enjoy looking at things restaurants put on the walls, I think the absence requires customers to focus on each other and their food experience.

Well done First Watch! Well worth the drive from Branson.

  4. First Watch was a great little farm table experience. The staff was friendly, the environment was lighter with a modern farmhouse twist. Their menu consisted of breakfast and lunch, with many different options for each of them. I ordered their Chickichanga, which was essentially a Latin breakfast burrito with a lemon hollandaise sauce on top. It was perfectly filling, and the side potatoes were expertly fried. I also recommend getting their iced coffee with your hot breakfast. I know that they tend to be busy on the weekends, but I happened to stop by mid morning on a week day and our party was seated immediately. If you’re looking for brunch, make sure you swing by!

  5. The outdoor patio area was very peaceful and nice. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. The seasonal dishes are so unique and awesome to try. I love their fresh juices too! Today I had the Pomegranate & Pear juice and The Pumpkin Pancake meal with chicken sausage and 2 eggs over easy. Very tasty!

Cool location in the revitalized downtown. Great vibe and nice booths inside. Lots of Awesome gluten free options!!! Both my wife and my meals were bursting with flavor. The do some sort of black magic with fried guacamole, it’s great. Excellent customer service. Specifically, fantastic service from Vincent; if my business were in Missouri, I would be trying to steal him as an employee.

I was skeptical of this place but they had a vegan menu and we had to try it. It was excellent! They sell their own sauce as well. Our waiter (guy) was one of the best I’ve seen. He was soooo friendly and patient. The food was excellent. I never expected to find a place like this in the Midwest. See the pictures.

We walked in and were told we had a 25 minute wait by the hostess. Trevor the server walked up and sat us immediately upstairs. It was empty up there with a beautiful view and quiet. Trevor was an amazing server! Super knowledgeable. Everything was amazing. It is a high dollar restaurant, so make sure you are ready for that. Everything was delicious.

Very small hole in the wall diner but I can’t express enough just how amazing the food my buddy and I have tried is. They’re local tea blend selection has some of the best flavors I’ve had in the US. The flavors of the foods are incomparable to anything I’ve tasted and is entirely unique to me. Not very handicap accessible but the portion sizes and flavors definitely make this a place worth stopping by!

Think you might know this place as the old Cedar’s. Its definitely good food for the price. They are famous for the chicken fried steaks for breakfast.

Down to earth comfort food for sure. Dress down casual great for sit down meal any time of day. The biscuits and gravy had a unique crumbling texture, will pass on those next time. But everything else is worth a second visit.

7.24.22 – Stopped in for a late lunch while traveling.  We ordered veggie omelet for $7.99 that came with hashbrowns, and toast.  We also ordered 3 stack pancakes for $6.99.  Pretty good service and food.  Our waitress was nice.  Resraurant (including trstroom) was clean.  I would enjoy eating here again indeed.  Two meals filled up 2 adults and 2 small kids.
