What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times and while the ambience is always nice, the food is just ok. The paella is super salty, even for someone who enjoys salt. Tapas are a hit and miss. The grilled octopus was good, but the steak was tough. Sangria Blanco while tasty, it was pretty much white wine with peach schnapps, no real fruit taste.

  2. I visited this restaurant on a Thursday as a walk in. I would recommend making reservations because it was an hour wait for dinner. Luckily we found a seat at the bar. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great place to meet co-workers for drinks, possibly meet with a date or just have a great meal with friends and family. I noticed a dinner/party room off of the bar area so it’s great for a nice private event as well. The food was excellent. Every small plate we had was excellent, seasoned nicely, and presented beautifully. The only complaint is that they did not have every dish on the menu available and they didn’t have any beers on tap… not sure why.

  3. This was my first try with Spanish food. It did not disappoint. I had the delicious blackberry lemonade, garlic shrimp appetizer, Mediterranean salad, grilled vegetables, and seafood paella. Between me and my daughter, we had lots of food to go. I loved the atmosphere, and all of the food was delicious. The garlic shrimp appetizer was savory and tasted like it was fresh from the ocean. The Mediterranean salad had a really zesty flavor. The paella was the star of the night with the crusty bit at the bottom. I will definitely be back to try this place again.

  4. I really liked the brunch, it was delicious!
The croquetas were super crispy on the outside yet extremely creamy inside. Definitely a must-have when you go to this place.

If I could say anything to improve, I would say the fixed menu for brunch needs smaller portions! It was a lot of food and took the entire dessert back home.

  5. This restaurant is one of the best in Dallas. They have a good selection of the traditional dishes, and the food is fresh and tasty. We did tapas and shared the paella, and that was a lot of food. The place is very well located, so you can take a walk after dinner if you want. They have both in doors and patio seating, good for small and large parties. The service was attentive and prompt. The did a bit longer than usual with the paella, but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

The only observation is that the paella was a bit burn, but I will say it’s the first time it happens to us there. No

A good mid afternoon meal at this La Madeline. I had the Chicken Parisienne. Wow, so good! The staff was very helpful throughout ordering process. Also someone was in the dining room keeping it clean. Very good service indeed. Both good food and good service, I highly recommend this La Madeline location in Plano, TX.

Always a great choice for a soup, salad and desert. The free jellies are a big bonus. Consistent quality across multiple restaurants.

Came here on a Saturday night and ordered the Crepe La Madeline, and was shocked at the tiny crepe piece which was $11 (Photo attached for reference. Plate on upper left hand corner is the entire crepe order, untouched. Other items are a separate order). We asked the manager if this was the correct serving size, since it may have just been a simple mistake with the order, but he confirmed that the portion size was correct. It is hard to believe that La Madeleine can justify charging $11 for such a small morsel of food. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident at a particular location, but if they really are skimping to this extent, then maybe it would be wiser for customers to take their business elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Great atmospheric French themed bakery and cafe! The prices are reasonable, and the food was excellent. The bacon was the perfect texture, and the Croissant that came with the meals was buttery, crisp, and delightfully flaky.

This location is very inconsistent with quality. This is the quality of lettuce I got from my to-go Cesar Salad order last night. Kept fishing a bunch of these out and ended up tossing it out. How can you serve this to anyone?

I have been coming to this location for years and I love it. When I was a student I went to La Madeleine to drink hot tea and to study, meet my friends. Now I like to come for brunch. They have an outdoor seating too. Yesterday I went and got chicken Caesar salad for me and my mom to initiate Mother’s Day weekend. They have been very consistent with the food, quality and so on. I buy fresh bread (sourdough is my fave ) there on occasion as well. Dessert – fruit tart is my go to. ❤️ Happy eating !

Had to get a dish corrected since they gave a cup after ordering a bowl, barely tried to fix it. Took forever to get a dish that was ordered and everyone else got their food, leaving one person just to wait.

It’s the place where I have been having my Club meetings for several years! It’s a great place, managers and staff are very nice and professional , food is good and the back room is awesome for groups!

Worst Experience!! Won’t be going back to this location, we went there on new year’s for breakfast with family and guy on the counter was super rude and was coughing constantly on our faces and I had kids he didn’t have a courtesy to cover his mouth or drink water or something which I felt disgusting specially because of pandemic. After ordering we didn’t get toasted bread for a long time with our omelets and when we were about to leave they gave us the bread with a sorry because they forgot. Anyway I didn’t like My coffee either so we just left didn’t like their services. I know you’re busy on the new year but you should always be considerate and polite with all your customers.

Placed order at La Madeline off of Preston and Park in Plano at 7:55pm. Online it says they are open until 9pm. The girl over the phone who took my entire order for our family in from out of town was so nice. Never did she say they closed early and over the phone said my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived at approximately 8:25 and when I walked in the staff (mostly teens) were all laughing and said they closed early and they could not make my order… sorry! They had their manager come out who was clearly off duty and he laughingly gave me several gift cards for my trouble and said sorry… Happy Holidays. Unbelievable!! I was standing there stunned. Left with no food with teen employees laughing and cutting up as I left. Good luck La Madeline. Thank you Taco Deli for being open and serving our family!!!
