Also you don’t get the fresh pita here. The flavors are good. You get the best pilaf rice. This place is truly amazing. The warmth of the people who run this place, the amazing quality and tasty food just leaves a lasting memory which will make you keep coming back. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and the food was SO fresh and delicious! The kebab portion was very tender and juicy and the rice was flavorful without overpowering the marinade of the chicken. The chicken tenders and fries for our toddlers was a generous portion and cooked just perfectly to be crispy but not overdone. My kids are usually picky, but they cleaned their plates today! My only wish would be for pita that is a little fluffier, but that’s definitely just my preference and it was still very good with the dipping sauces and hummus. Deon was excellent as our waitress! Service was good hints the 2 stars.
The food was a nightmare! It was extremely cold as well as the coffee. Eggs where over cooked, bacon was extremely under cooked. Hash browns were overly crunchy. Was not a fan of the food what so ever. But the service was awesome.
Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in Peoria. The staff was quick and friendly, the food was absolutely amazing, and it’s very clean in here. The portions are very generous for the price. I’m sure that this could be split between two people and both would leave full. The coffee was fresh and hot. I’ll absolutely be back again!

We almost walked out cause of the poor service
Food is good the service NO
I have a soft spot for this place. I ate here years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I love the pies and the best was the caramel apple pie. They still had it when I went recently with my mom this week. We both tried the pot roast melt. It was very very good and it was simple too. It was pot roast and grilled red onions and cheese. The fries were perfect! It was a nice lunch with my mom. I’ve also taken my fiance here and he loves the burgers! He says they’re pretty lgood and really enjoyed it. So yea, its been here for a while but it still very good!
Really surprised how bad Perkins has gotten. It used to be an easy access and reasonably priced local place I can take my senior mom for a girl’s lunch date. We were one of the servers only two tables, she took a long time just to greet us, we noticed she wasn’t writing anything down and first forgot what one of the drinks were, disappeared on and off throughout the whole visit and when our food did come out it was wrong, missing items and not very warm. The check at the end really surprised me as well. We were there just a month before and practically ordered the same things and the pricing had jumped quite a bit. This visit will be our last visit.
