  1. First time patient! Everyone was very friendly from the front desk staff to the dentist! The hygienist explained everything she was going to do and was very gentle while cleaning my teeth. The dentist was friendly as well and also explained what she was doing durning my examine. I was very pleased with my service and the customer service I was provided.

  2. From my first telephone inquiry, the staff at Mahan Village Dental Care have continued to provide exceptional service and care. At my initial appointment, Jennifer M, my hygienist, was very gentle and warm. She and Dr. Scott made me feel comfortable while educating me about my treatment options. I am excited about working with Dr. Cole for my Invisalign treatment in the coming months, as I have been seeking a qualified provider to help achieve a confident smile!

    At Mahan Village Dental Care I’ve found a friendly, professional, knowledgeable, skilled and cohesive staff that have made my dental needs their top priority. I am proud to refer friends and family to their practice. I believe I’ve found my forever dentistry, seriously!🤣

  3. My wife and I have been going here since it opened. The dentists are great but our issue lies with the billing department, front staff and general lack of communication. Here are a few things that have happened this year. First, our insurance number changed. I provided the new information at the time of my visit. I received a denial in the mail because the visit was billed to the old number. I called and again provided the new insurance information. I received another denial because it was again billed to the old number. I ended up calling a total of six times to get it fixed. Secondly, I had a procedure and ended up with a temporary bridge that fell off at home before my appointment for my permanent bridge. I called for guidance and the front desk person took a message and said the clinical team would call me back. I never heard anything. I called the next business day and the same situation played out again. I ended up leaving a few messages for the clinical team over a few days and never heard anything back. I actually ended up having my permanent appointment before I ever received a call back. Lastly, I had a billing issue and called to discuss. No one answered the phone so I left a message. No call back. I called again a week later, left another message and never received a call back.

    This dental office is fine if you never have billing issue, change insurance or have dental emergencies, otherwise it is a very frustrating experience of calling with no response or provide the same information over and over again. We will be looking for a new dentist.

  4. Had veneers on 2 front teeth replaced. Temporaries fell off twice while waiting for veneers. Front desk little girl was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do about them falling off. I drove in and told them to fix them because I can’t live without my front teeth intact! The teeth under them are also very sensitive when exposed. A hygienist came out and was very rude. Rolling her eyes. Not looking at me. Telling me that “I told you to be careful with them.” I was actually embarrassed to sit in the room with her and scared that she’d be working on my teeth. I had to deal with that twice. When my veneers were ready, they were the wrong color!! I had to go over to the office where they make the veneers to be color matched! When they were finally ready again, they were really big. But it was too late. They were on. The right one has fallen off 3 times now!! I finally went to another dentist and they couldn’t believe the mess under and around my veneers. They said now the right tooth is too far decayed and I’ll need a crown… if a crown works!!! So I gave them $500… for nothing!

  5. The staff was very nice and friendly. Professional environment and the office smelled delightful! The atmosphere was on point even down to the music of choice. The dental assistant assigned to me made me feel very comfortable❤️

    My family started with this practice when they opened the doors. We have been happy with the service and care we’ve received in the past; however, our latest experiences are beyond disappointing. My daughter was having excruciating tooth pain causing difficulty with sleeping and was crying as she called to get an appointment–they told her it would be 5 weeks before they could see her. Front desk staff, Emory, was cruel and unprofessional. I couldn’t believe it! We got her an appointment the next day at another dental office. I already had an appointment set for replacement retainers so kept it, thinking I would visit with Dr. Montalvo about his staff’s behavior. I was clear in making my appointment what my needs were but when I arrived, I was met with repeated attempts to try to sell me things that were not at all what I needed, saying they couldn’t deliver on the original agreement. I didn’t even see the doctor and ended up walking out telling the front desk not to charge me for the visit. Complete waste of time, including hours of sick leave that had to be taken. We are all requesting our medical records and finding another medical provider who remembers their charge to respect and care for their patients.

    This office is so friendly! Dental appointments aren’t my favorite thing to do. The scraping isn’t so painful anymore-It’s a pleasure, almost, going to the dentist:D They have state of the art equipment, and I’m impressed every time I go. Great place.

    It was my first appointment and I couldn’t be more happy with my experience. The facilities are modern and very clean, they have great coffee options and bottles of water for the patients. The staff at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. No waiting time. Once inside you can experience they are investing in new technologies to better treat the patient, they are very professional and knowledgable. Dr. Montalvo and Samantha were great. Last but no least, you can be sure there will not be any surprising bills, since they dosclose all the possible costs for the patient upfront.

    Awesome place with amazing staff. The front office ladies are so lovely and helpful, the dental hygienists and dental assistants are so caring and considerate and the dentist is so wonderful and kind. They are all very excellent at what they do and made me feel so comfortable and cared for and did great work on my teeth. They explained everything to me very well and made sure I understand everything just as well too

    If only zero stars were an option. My wife and I made an appointment in September of 2022 for our two children. At the time, the only available was April 27 of 2023. We kindly asked to be placed on a cancellation list etc as we live within close proximity. After waiting over 8 months for their appointment, I received an automated text canceling their appointments on the Friday afternoon preceding their Monday appointment. I immediately called the office to no avail leaving a message. On Monday, I called again, only to be connected to a third party operator who said someone from the physical office would be in touch. No one called. Two days later I called again, received only their third party operator who said there was nothing available until the new year or 2024. We have clearly moved on!

    I had a positive experience at Aspen Dental, Tallahassee, FL. I usually do not have a positive experience at the dentist office. One my tooth had been hurting me for quite some time. It needed to be removed immediately. I call the Aspen Dental, Tallahassee, FL and receptionist Keisha made me an appointment right away. I always had problems with doing a bite wing scan with a Tech. I did not have that problem. My Tech Trez Hannah made me feel really comfortable. He is a very very patience and professional young man. It made it all the easy for me. He kept me calm always checking on me. Ms. Connie M. Lead Supervisor was also very patience with me in getting additional bite wing scan. Dr. G was dentist that seen me and gave the results. He was very detail and professional. Ms. Candace B. spoke with me about what I can do to pay for my dental work. She very detail and gave me a lot of different options. Randi (Teeth Cleaning Technician) explained the process, before beginning the procedure. I had a positive experience at this location.

    Paid over $4000 to them and I had one appointment and now I can’t get them to return my calls. My 2nd appointment was canceled because of their company outage at the end of April and I can’t get through to them to reschedule it. The work they’ve done is great though, just wish they’d do better at communicating.

    After a horrible experience with a dentist many years ago, I was embarrassed and ashamed of how bad my teeth have gotten and was terrified to see another dentist. From the time I came in the office until I left everyone was amazing! Melody did my X-rays and she was the sweetest kindest person! She didn’t make me feel shame or embarrassment like I had in the past. The dentist was very kind as well. Holly went above and beyond to make sure I could get the treatment I need. I would recommend this office to anyone!

    So at 515 I had an emergency that needed to be addressed. I call EVERYONE, and aspen is the only one that is ‘Open until 7pm’. I try to call to verify. Get an automated message saying phones are down, but to come on in! So I drive, 45 MINUTES! Get there at 6:25, which I consider well before closing. What do I get when I get in? “Sorry, everyone is already gone. Just take some ibuprofen and come back tomorrow.” I get that’s it was late, but I was willing to pay for after hours help. Now I’m worse off than before!!
