What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Had a great 1st experience at Coast dental. Everyone was super friendly & efficient. I came in with an emergency & lots of pain & they fit me in for an extraction & then set me up as a new patient. The extraction was quick & painless, I’m looking forward to trusting these professionals with getting my teeth & gums back into tip top shape.

  2. Terrible experience. First time patient. And last time patient. A dentist saw me through telehealth. Meaning she couldn’t see or touch my teeth during the “exam”. No cavities, and I have no pain or discomfort in my mouth. And somehow they still wanted to charge me $1200 for a cleaning. Other dentists I’ve talked to have laughed when I told them my experience. Steer clear.

  3. I was a new patient and was there 2 hours and only had x-rays done. I expected to have a new patient exam with x-rays, cleaning and to see the doctor. I had lots of x-rays and only saw the hygienist. The doctor was seen through the computer and they said I had to pay for my cleaning. Was not impressed with my visit, but the staff was super friendly.

  4. From my first experience here, All the way to now, I am quite disappointed with this office and how my 1 appointment went and their lack of communication was. I was excited to go in here, seeing the good reviews, but was highly disappointed. First, on my first appointment I went in for X-rays. Simple stuff for first appointment, and pretty typical. Now the X-ray lady brought up that the lady who would measure my gums would tell me what kind of cleaning I needed done. I made it very clear that I wanted to just jump right into getting my teeth fixed, seeing as my teeth are already so sensitive and before that appointment every time I had to reschedule it would be another month out, so I didn’t want a tooth to break or for my mouth to hurt for a whole month while waiting to get back in to get started. Which did result in the lady walking out saying she would talk to the dentist. When she came back in after 5 to 7 minutes later she said a date and time than walked out. Wasn’t aware that my appointment was being rescheduled since x-rays needed to be taken regardless so was quite confused why we didn’t proceed with the x-rays. So here we are, a day before this next rescheduled appointment which was supposed to be for me to come in and talk to the dentist, than I get a call the day before my appointment with them cancelling last minute, and saying that now I have to do an appointment over the phone with this dentist instead. Which was opposite of what we were told 3 and a half weeks ago. So with the total lack of communication this office has, and no respect for my time or to keep me properly updated and understanding of why I have to do this or that, is not an office that I would trust to fix my teeth properly or being nice in the process seeing what I’ve seen this far. So, do with my review as you will, but if you aren’t into guessing games for services you are paying for, than I would recommend to go somewhere else. Very disappointed with how people in this profession act nowadays.

  5. Edit to add to my other review: to verify the lack of communication they have here, I received a text message from here the night of my was to be appointment say that I missed my appointment, which they had just called about 24 hours ago telling me they canceled it and I had to reschedule for a virtual exam. Which was completely opposite of what they said when they pretty much ran me out of the office because I refused a service that had no relative was to that appointment. Better off finding a better dentists office. I’ve been to my fair share of bad dentists offices but never have I ever been dismissed without doing what I was scheduled to do just because I denied a pointless service that would’ve been a waste of my money and time and left me in pain for another few months because of how hard it is to get back in after every appointment. So thank you Coast Dental for wasting 4 months of my time that I could’ve found a better dental office who does not lack simple communication skills, and professionalism.

I have tried to refrain from writing a review as I have given ample opportunity for Aspen Dental to communicate with me and make things right. I got aligners from them and into my third week, I realized they were not fitting my teeth properly which means they did not accurately measure my teeth. I financed my aligners for $1600. I decided after the miscommunication regarding my treatment plan that I no longer wished to move forward with the aligners. I let Aspen Dental know at my appointment to see how the aligners were working for me. They then told me that after 30 days, it was no longer refundable. I was absolutely infuriated as I believe that should be disclosed to the patient prior to starting treatment. When I initially signed up for financing they had put “123 fix me” for my address on the initial application so in order to receive my financing documents; I had to change my address and had to submit proof of identity due to having to change my address within 30 days of having my account open. I have asked for something to be done and every single time I call, I’m out on hold without being acknowledged and then I’m left on hold for 20+ minutes. I was advised the regional manager would be contacted regarding my possible refund and have been waiting for quite some time regarding the decision, so here I am paying monthly for services that weren’t rendered. I understand having to pay for the two visits I’ve already had along with the imaging and what not but I should not have to continue paying on the aligners when it’s their fault I decided not to move forward. I had heard from numerous people prior to starting my treatment that Aspen Dental was not a good place for dental care because of how they are about money. I chose to give them a decent chance and am now regretting ever trusting them with the job to help me feel comfortable with my smile again.

I was very impressed with the dental assistant, hygienist, dentist, and office staff. Very professional and I liked how they showed the xrays and explained what was happening with my teethand gums. They were able to do my new patient exam and cleaning on the same day. The hygienist checked frequently to make sure I was comfortable during the session, and gave extra numbing gel when needed. I’m happy to have found a new dental home.

I have struggled my whole life with dental issues so it can be very intimidating walking in as a new patient. Especially without any insurance and low income. I wish I could give them 10 stars! From the front desk to my way out the door, I felt very comfortable and confident in my treatment plan and the cost. I was also given a few options that would make a very daunting financial investment absolutely doable for a low income individual. I’m really happy I chose this place.

I booked an appt. online for my husband’s inflamed tooth. They presented him with an estimate (9K) for everything but the problem, the tooth was not addressed. He left in pain. We went to urgent care and he was seen immediately. He was given an antibiotic and he has a dental appt., elsewhere. I’ve always had wonderful independent doctors which would get their patients in who had emergencies. Not the case @ Aspen Dental, they are looking for the big ticket sale. I should’ve been warned by all the negative reviews, but I thought that we could start using them, what a mistake and waste of time. They are more like a brokerage firm trying to meet a set budget.

I have no idea why there is a big sign plastered on the window that says, Emergency and walk-ins welcomed!!! Is that suppose to be a joke? I called before I came in and was told that I can walk in but get there before 11:30 because they leave early on Friday’s. I show up and the lady at the front desk said we are booked, we don’t take walk-ins. I said I spoke with someone and they told me to come in and there is a big sign that says you do! She just stared at me and said nothing. They care more about leaving early than actually taking care of someone. I wouldn’t have come if it wasn’t an emergency! Rude and careless!

I had gone to another dentist clinic the day before, the people were difficult to understand and not super friendly like the people at Smile Cape Coral. I was happy to get into the office the next day after booking my appointment for a root canal. The procedure was painless + the staff made sure I was comfortable, offering a blanket for me. I am happy to go back because even the prices were cheaper. Happy patient here 🙂

Very kind, professional and friendly atmosphere. Staff is very knowledgeable and so welcoming! The dentist and the hygienists put you at ease by clearly explaining your treatment options and addressing all of your questions or concerns. Not to mention that the facility is tastefully decorated to reflect the charm of Florida living. I highly recommend Smile Cape Coral!

I highly recommend Smile Cape Coral. The dentist was great and the people are super friendly. The facility is very nice and clean. They were able to schedule me in fairly quickly to take care of a dental issue that was causing me pain. I have been to several dentist offices on the Cape and this is the one that my entire family will be going to from now on.

Everyone working there was wonderful! Brianne at the front desk is the most knowledgeable person I’ve spoken to at a healthcare facility in Cape Coral in a long time! She was able to accurately and intelligently answer all questions I had prior to my first visit and, honestly, is the reason I chose SMILE. Likewise, Marianna the hygienist did a marvelous job, and was very friendly and extremely interesting to talk to.

My experience at SMILE CAPE CORAL was excellent. I am a snowbird and depend on their practice to take care of my dental needs while I’m in Florida. I have always been treated both personably and professionally. It is a very well run practice. The doctors and technicians make the effort and take the time to answer all questions and explain procedures. I will keep depending on them for my dental care.
