What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. It’s a good bowling alley with lots of lanes. They have decent food and drinks. They do not excel at lane management. They will limit you to a certain time and aren’t flexible with extending it. We were forced off our lane when time ended, asked for more time since there was more open lanes and they told us we couldn’t there was a waiting line. After we got off our lane, the lane sat empty for over an hour. Never seen a business that doesn’t want you to stay and keep buying food and drinks.

  2. Happy to have visited, yet it only opens in the late afternoon. I gave it a 4 rating due to the dirty bathrooms and bar area (messy and sticky/bartender). The prices are normal for food. Drinks and bowling are higher than usual. They have some specials during the week. There is an outside area with games and batting cages. Nicely decorated inside. They have bumpers if necessary. The graphics are cool when checking your score.

  3. It was fun, bowling, pool, good food and music indoors. The Yard (outdoors) had horseshoes, shuffleboard and batting cages. Only oddity is to play any games (bowling, shoe rental, pool, batting cages) you have to pay in cash..but you can use cards everywhere else (bars, food).

  4. My husband and I enjoyed 4 or 5 rounds of bowling before heading over to the restaurant area to finish enjoying our meal.

What made this bowling alley one of my favorite bowling experiences was the incredible service we received from start to finish.

We tried the “Burger Verde” which was voted first place in the Burger Brawl’s Best Burger in Philly Judges Choice Award. Of course when I heard that, I just had to give it a try!

This delicious burger was 10000% deserving of it’s award. What makes it so special? This isn’t just any ordinary burger. This beauty includes chorizo, cheese sauce, green chilis, red onion, cilantro and chili aioli. DELICIOUS!!!

And of course I have to mention the S’mores Skillet! Oh. My. Goodness. That s’mores skillet was HEAVENLY!

In fact, everything we ordered from South Bowl far exceeded our expectations.

I also have to give a big thank you to our amazing server. Our drinks never got empty and we were checked on regularly. By far one of the most exceptional service experiences I have ever received.

    5 stars all around!

  5. I was looking for a place to have my daughter’s birthday and after getting recommendations from friends and family, we decided on South Bowl.
From the first communication with the event manager I knew that I won’t regret it. The service we had from the manager and all the way down to the last person on staff was nothing less than amazing!
We rented the upstairs for about 60 people, the food was way over our expectations, the service, the bartenders, the people on staff just made everything go so smooth!
The most important, the comments we got from our guests, they were so super happy, the space, the food, the service was absolutely incredible.
The management and even the owner kept making sure that everything is good and everybody is happy and comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for anybody who plans a small to medium size event. I am truly so very grateful.

The Burholme Family Fun Center offers fun for everyone of all ages. There’s a golf range, batting cages, mini golf and arcade. However, it needs a lot of maintenance. Over the years it has slowly declined, especially the mini golf. When the weather is nice it is crowded, so expect to wait. I found the earlier you go the less wait you’ll have. There is parking available. The individual running this establishment has his good days and his bad days.

Great place to hit balls! Very friendly staff! Inside Burholme you can use the golf simulators. Outside, covered and uncovered tee areas. Also, have some automatic tees for us lazy guys. Has miniature golf for the whole family and snacks to go with it. Batting cages as well! FUN PLACE!!!

The place was spot on. Spent the afternoon there with my grandsons TWINS, playing mini hitting a couple of buckets swinging the bats. Wife loved it, got the kids off tictok. Everyone there was smiling and enjoying. Beautiful afternoon multiple activities

Neat place. We visited mini golf. The course is cool and easy for kids. 1 game is $6 so it’s a great value. I am taking away 1 start since there was a lot of leaves fallen on the course. The little cafe inside looks very clean. We will definitely be back!

We did the mini golf. It was nice and fairly priced. The course was kept up well. But, it looked very uniform, not alot of different decorations and things. To me that is important for put put. Plenty of parking. Nice staff. Will definitely come back.

They host leagues for soccer, basketball, baseball, and more. I also recently used them for a child’s birthday party and it went excellently. They setup the field with a bounce house, rings, balls, hoop, blocks, and toys. The staff was very helpful with the party room. You can bring in your own decorations and food. Would do that again!
