  1. Is kind of depressing the sight and I understand is low income and to help people but does it have to be locked up like a prison? Residents look unhappy all the time and close to death or like hiding abuse, I dont know, is just sad

  2. Have a elderly friend staying there. She was released from the hospital but still barely able to walk. The manager would not even let the repair people for her when chair come in to fix the chair unless she walked down from the far end of the building to let them in. Don’t get me wrong I understand rules and safety- but this manager is rude no matter the situation. Deal with people on a individual basis! Mennonite housing?? I would give no stars if possible. Also I could not get up to see her and check on her unless she walked down. Could not do that to her and the manager just smiled. Thumbs down on her humanity…

    My mom moved into Oxford Villa a year and a half ago & it was the BEST thing we could have done for her ! She had an experience a year before that, at a different independent living complex here in Wichita that was NOT good, and literally for about $300 more a month it is like night & day!! The staff is wonderful, they continually go above & beyond to help mom & we could not ask for a better place for mom. The activities are a blast, there is always something to do & they excel at creating “community”. They think of the little things that most places do not think of. For Example, there is a VERY nice, sturdy & well Maintained CHILDREN’s PLAY AREA so when the Great Grand kids come over we have a place to take them to play!!! (See picture ) What kind of SENIOR Living place thinks that much about family ??!! We are very pleased with Oxford Villa & highly recommend it !

    My parents moved to Oxford last August and couldn’t be happier! It was a perfect solution that let them keep their independence while not having the responsibilities that go along with home ownership and maintenance. The staff at Oxford is so friendly and ready to help. We enjoyed all the Christmas decorations done by residents and love the feel of community. Even though I live close it gives me a feeling of security knowing they are not truly alone and they have the opportunity of great meals if they don’t want to cook. I would highly recommend Oxford to any seniors looking for a top quality residence!

    I have been very impressed with Oxford Villa especially with Des. She has always been very accommodating with the questions I have had. I looked at several senior apartments and found Oxford Villa to be the best with pricing and welcoming. I am looking forward to moving there when I get the call.

    Exceptional amenities. Apartments are designed for us older people. Everyone is friendly and the staff are helpful. I enjoy everything.

    I have known for several years that when the time came to move my family member to a senior living community that Oxford Villa would check all of the boxes. We have recently made that decision to move forward and the team at OV could not have been nicer or more helpful. We are grateful for such a good experience with the move-in process and believe this will be the right fit for her!

    I viewed this place with a family member. It seemed like a nice place to live. The property is listed as a smoke-free community. However, the apartment we viewed reeked of thirdhand smoke. We found nicotine residue on the pipes in the air return closet as well as on light fixtures. I’m sad it didn’t work out.

    My mom lives there and is very happy. They keep the place neat and clean. Upkeep on the units is always done in a timely manner. They are wonderful. Rocky and Leah and the whole team do an amazing job

    Sad that my mother moved to wichita to end up alone in these apartments after living with us for so many years ,,,, wish there was some kind of a security officer driving around making sure there isn’t anyone with bad intentions walking around ,,, while I was visiting I did see two young men hanging around for a long time and they didn’t seem to be at any particular residence
