After living here for 3 years (2018 ~ 2021), it breaks my heart to leave. I think of my days at AVA 55 Ninth all the time.
We had great parties, good neighbors, lovely pet circle, amenities to host home party, quick and responsive maintenance team, as well as the concierge! Now we finally got a security in the lobby, and restaurants downstairs.
The leasing office helped me and many neighbors when time was rough, they were very understanding and reasoning with their residents.
I will think of Avalon when I need to relocate because of my experience here.

Love this place at the first sight! The vibe, the atmosphere, the location, and last but not least, the staff.
Jovan has always been there to help! He and Otu are always there to greet the residents. Whenever we need help for apartment maintenance, we know who to go to to get things fixed!
The maintenance team gets work done! The building is extremely pet friendly. I cannot say enough about how great community it is!
I like my apartment and staff are friendly enough. Although, it can get tricky and surprisingly hard to get good handling when it comes to maintenance. They never follow up and try to avoid any accountability. All it takes is one bad maintenance person to deal with your issue to significantly damage your experience living here. Another major issue is the elevator. 1 of 2 that usually function breaks at least once a week. The third has mostly been broken for about a year now.
Can’t gush enough about the ambiance and amenities of the Avalon Bay property on Ninth. Am very pleased with the non-smoking policy, all the luxuries of living here, to include quiet mornings and calm evenings. Have had to do hop-scotch over poop nearby, yet can see the surrounding neighborhood improving. However, inside, we have Trish and Davîd, two of my favorite people with how they’ve approached matters just being professional and courteous. Definitely incentive to keep the warmth going.
Pretty awesome place to live. Tons of amenities and activities for all ages, super dog friendly too! My dog absolutely loves playing with her neighbor doggies downstairs in the doggy area and I love the fact that you get to meet and enjoy the company of others in the building. It’s great to live in a place where everyone is super welcoming and friendly and thinks of one another!
The community at Ava 55 Ninth is awesome. Neighbors are friendly (yes, we talk to each other!), David is fantastic, and security actually cares.
There are some annoying things around maintenance (i.e. elevator, garage door), but I’ve really enjoyed living here.
