What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My mom used to live here. It’s not bad. 24 hour security on premises. When the weather is nice, you’ll see some of the residents sitting outside near the water. Visitor parking can be troublesome at times; you’ll find yourself walking quite far to get to the front door.

  2. Well it is not the Ritz. But you can’t find a friendlier group of residents! I always get a kind “hello” when I visit here. I also see that the residents here try to help other residents.
People here are down to earth, regular folk.
The building has a mini market that offers fresh produce and grocery items. A Laundry room and a beauty shop are also located conveniently in the building.
I have never come to the building and not see housekeeping cleanig the floors or see maintenance crew working inside the building or keeping up the grounds.
There is also security at the door. Even though they know me, the will still request my ID.

  3. I don’t know much about this place other than it is on the gorge and has amazing views. They only have efficiency and one bedroom apartments. I would definitely check them out if I were apartment hunting.

  4. The building is very clean. There’s lots of activities here. The apartment is spacious. Wegman’s bus comes every week and the food market truck comes every week. All windows have great views. Some apartments are very cold inside in the winter especially the river side. The garbage shute room is very smelly inside, they need to clean the room with bleach or pine sol. The hallways smell of cigarettes. The person that lives over me and the person lives next door to me smokes a lot. I don’t smoke, it bothers me a lot. The person that live over me is noisy, after midnight he decides to make noise, when people is asleep. Laundry room is big , it’s kept clean.

I enjoy partnering with Michaela Bleier at The Legacy at Clover Blossom. The residents really thrive here and have a lot of activities available to them. The apartments are really nice and the facility is accommodating to residents with increasing needs but the ability to remain independent. You can really tell that everyone enjoys working there which really makes a difference in the residents experience. I highly recommend Clover Blossom! 🙂

We have been exploring assisted/independent living options for a relative. My husband and I met with Michaela Bleier this week for a tour of the facility. Michaela’s enthusiasm for the Legacy was contagious: we were extremely impressed with the presentation, the depth of Michaela’s knowledge base related to any questions we posed, as well as ones we hadn’t thought to ask! The Legacy is definitely on our yes list after the tour: now we just have to convince our relative to move to New York State!

I love working here, I love connecting with people every day and making my residents smile. I feel lucky to be a part of a great team and I am proud of what we do here everyday, big or small!

Nice place and community, promotes independent living for seniors, provides onsite laundry, concierge, travel, and nutritious dining. Secure 24hr access. Contracts with local nurses to provide the best possible care for residents. Kudos to them for supporting Honor Flight Rochester, without local support like them it would harder to provide the service they do.

I’ve only been here a few weeks, but so far I love it! People are so nice, both residents and staff. We love the woods and wetlands, the fact that it is pet-friendly, and the many activities to choose from.

Difficult as it was, we made an excellent choice of moving here from our previous home for 45+ years. Our current residence is beautiful, adequate for two of us, well kept and furnished. Surrounding is appeasing. Services are timely provided. Neighbours are friendly and pleasant. Staff is professional, pleasant and courteous. We are happy here.

I love being here. Everyone has been so welcoming. The townhouse is much more than I expected. The quality of the appliances and other features are the best. Thank you for accepting me into the community. I feel right at home…( among tons of boxes). 😉

My parents (in their 90s) live in the apartments at Brickstone and love it. These newer facilities and grounds are beautiful, with stylish apartments, a sunlit library, an exercise room, and ample common areas. The Winter garden with a tall wall of windows is beautiful. Outdoors there are sidewalks that meander around ponds and fountains, generous patios (with a fire pit), benches for sitting to watching birds and the occasional deer, and a nature trail and board walk through the surrounding woods. Many planned social activities each week both in the facilities and beyond, with transportation provided. The residents have lived quite diverse, interesting lives, and almost everyone greets you with a smile. The staff feel like family– there when you need them, doing their jobs with skill, compassion, and good humor. We are so glad our parents chose Brickstone!

We had always felt blessed to have chosen LeRoy NY as our home for 56 years where we were a vibrant part of the community and raised our six children, and we feel equally blessed to have replaced LeRoy with St John’s Brickstone. We were able to bring part of LeRoy with us and leave part of ourselves in LeRoy. For many COVID was a disaster, but for us, thanks to the care, concerns, high expectations, and high standards of Dawn, Terry, Tony, and all Brickstone employees, COVID made us even more blessed to be part of this community.
