  1. Our service person was very nice and knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely manner.

    However, the work (electrical panel replaced) that was done to me is “incomplete” but according to M&S it is complete and we would have to get a “handyman crew” to fix the dry wall that the Michael & Son employee cut out and drilled back in a sloppy manner. I emailed Michael and Son’s customer service and was told it’s an additional cost for the dry wall to be fixed..usually costing $350 extra.

    Also, originally we were going to use their “leasing program” in order for this unexpected job to be completed. We asked every question we could think of to our service person and the bank they use for this program. It was not explained that if we paid it off early that there would be a “buyout” to complete the 120 month contract they wanted us to sign. ($10k total)

    This whole process to me was not very smooth and to honest “incomplete” due to the extra dry wall that had to be cut below the paneling.

    UPDATE 4/7/22
    We were told the job was “complete” about a month ago, however when the Dominion person came out today to inspect the final project, there was a copper wire that wasn’t grounded. M&S had to come back out and complete the job a 2nd time.

  2. Contacted Michael and Son for general plumbing and pipe repair in a location that had very difficult access. One of their highly experienced plumbers, Eric Blackmon, called and asked to see if he could come early. I was overjoyed as our water supply had to be turned off. Erick immediately assessed the situation and briefed me on some of the complexities and how he planned to proceed with the repairs. He kept me completely informed of his progress and asked me to inspect the project when completed. He was very knowledgeable and shared some of that with me. He then asked if I needed any other repairs work and then made some expert suggestions of other potential problems that I should keep my eye on. This was a very friendly approach with no pressure applied – information only, and I appreciate that. I will certainly ask for him for any future plumbing needs.

  3. We reached out to Michael & Sons to have some electric run for a built-in under-cabinet wine fridge in our kitchen. Fortunately Joshua was able to come out for a same-day estimate and scheduled work for just a few days later. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and left the space tidy after he was finished. We will definitely keep him in mind for any future projects in our home

He took his time and explained everything far as maintenance, warranty and other great things to know. I highly recommend him as your technician.   5. My experience with Michael & Son was great. I was able to easily call and make an appointment the same week for an estimate. Joshua was very responsive and answered all my questions (and I had a lot!) without complaint. He also helped me quickly make an appointment to actually do the wiring upgrade we wanted, and was super transparent, responsive, and professional the entire time. I would book again, especially with Joshua, in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!

    Had to replace bathroom faucet in my rental property. Simple work I’ve done myself before but wasn’t available to do this time. They were adamant to not provide me any estimates over the phone. I paid for the dispatch fee to get the estimate in-person. What should have been a simple job cost me 5X over. Their markup is CRAZY. I even offered to provide my own faucet but they were going to charge me extra to install customer-provided product and it wouldn’t have made any difference. They say it includes warranty and that’s what‘s also included on the price but a good professional should be able to guarantee a certain level of quality regardless.

    The service technician, Mark Martin, was outstanding!!! He took the time to explain all of our options, worked with us on scheduling the installation, and even helped with drying out the basement! I will definitely use him in the future for any plumbing needs. He’s awesome!!

    Every part of using Len The Plumber from beginning to end is great. Calling in to schedule an appointment and scheduling a technician to come out is very easy. Their dispatch calls you 30 minutes ahead of time before the technician arrives. All the technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. They explain everything in layman terms so you can understand and make an informed decision. I highly recommend Len the plumber. Our technician Antonio today was awesome!

    Sylvester arrived right on time for replacement of my existing water heater and did a wonderful job. Sylvester was very nice, professional and fully explained the available options and pricing and completed the job very quickly. It was great to be able to schedule an appointment late in the evening when I noticed a leak and have the water heater replaced the next day (right before a holiday).     The pipe coming out of our well pump burst, leading to an emergency visit from Len The Plumber. Pros: Every staff member I interacted with was very nice and understanding. Their tech tracking system and accountability on appointment times were great! I knew a good estimate of when someone would arrive, and got a check in on the first day when the tech was running a little late. I have confidence in the fidelity of the job that was done, though it was a much more comprehensive fix than I was originally expecting. Cons: The techs powered through the cost breakdown and warranty information a little too swiftly for my liking. The cost was also very large. We replaced my water pump in its entirety, and it cost $7300. Looking at the invoice, it looks like there’s two separate charges for the same described service, so I’m not very enthusiastic about the cost and the invoicing system at all right now. Unfortunately, I was without water and needed it for my home business, and didn’t have the confidence I could shop around the way I would have liked to in other scenarios.

    Jeff came to the rescue once more. I needed to have my washer, dryer and utility tube reconnected after some renovation work. John C. Flood performed the reconnection the same day as the initial inspection. It looks better than it did before. I was so satisfied I posted my experience on Facebook page.

    They came out and gave us a good estimate. Checked another provider for another estimate, and while the other was a bit cheaper JC Flood had a better service plan and we liked that they were more proactive in offering us options in the estimate. However, they missed a part of the install and I wonder if I hadn’t noticed they would have caught it. They said they would call to schedule to finish the job, but after not hearing any thing after two days we called and threatened to stop the check to get them to come out. They were fine, but as most companies once they get your money they move on unless you are on top of them.

    major plumbing repairs, had to dig up and replace pipes under our basement, snake, scope, and clear pipes all throughout the basement and underground. they assessed and resolved the problem quickly, price was significantly less than quoted by another plumbing company. they were friendly, professional, hard working, and just all around life-savers. we couldn’t ask for better service and expertise. and it was consistent with everyone we dealt with — from the office to the plumbers to the supervisors. really impressive.
