3 months agoI came to grab a new suit for a friend’s wedding and I didn’t realize they have personal a stylist here. There’s a special section within the mens formal wear, that the stylist helps you. She helped us with blazer, pant, and shirt measurements and gave recommendations as we tried to find the right fit and style. She was very attentive to our group and made sure all our questions were answered. She provided exceptional customer service. She even helped us pick out some shoes, belts and ties. If you come to this Macy’s, make sure you park in the basement parking structure and ask for parking validation.2 months agoIf you’re looking for men’s cologne you can’t go wrong shopping at Macy’s, as they have the latest, like Dior Sauvage Spray, Versace, Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, and the list goes on, don’t settle for less, And the same goes for women’s perfume, like Channel, Viktor & Rolf, Lacome, Givenchy, and their list goes on, and if you’re lucky you’ll catch one of their sales which are happening all the time, and the sales clerks are there to help with a smile 😊 5 ⭐’s hands down4 months agoWent into Macy’s to see if they had any samples of perfume available. I was running low on the perfume that I had in the little bottle, that I got last time I was there. ( My Way ) Giorgio Armani. There was a young man at the counter who greeted me with the best smile. He not only gave me a sample of perfume, but he told me about another fragrance and what makes it special. He was very knowledgeable about it and I was impressed. He has the best personality. I will be purchasing perfume from him next visit.5 months agoWe came in to find a suit for my son, they had pretty good deals, one thing I can say is that they are understaffed but there was one cashier in the men that was doing his best , even tho he had a big line. They also had 15% off on perfume and cologne.4 years agoI’ll keep it breif. Nightmare to exchange to simple pieces for a sectional. The new pieces were chared to our macys account per the salesperson recommendation and the the returned pieces were to be credited back to the Macy’s account. That didn’t happened. The credited a different card. Still having to fight it out. To boot, they want me to take time off work during the week to come down to figure it out??? Finally, becareful when you buy a rug. Its leased spaced and they have a 7 day return policy. When questioned the salesperson stated its still macys but that department is leased and has its own policy. Super confusing and not clear to the consumer. Costco has a better return policy. I was told a manager would call me, still waiting. I spent almost 4k. I dont expect this type of run around from a store like Macy’s. Policies and rhe service have been subpar.

Macy’s is a wonderful department store with so many great sales going on all the time. And you also get rewarded when you buy things in the form of Macy’s cash. I recently was able to get $10 off some Nike shoes I bought at Macy’s due to a recent purchase. Macy’s is a bit of American nostalgia as well too. The Macy’s at Arden Fair Mall is always very busy on the weekends , especially during the holidays. Just be aware of that. Everything is really crowded at this time of year. Otherwise I highly recommend it. There is also a Macy’s in downtown Sacramento that is far less crowded. That one is also just as nice, if not nicer. It is adjacent to the golden one center and has its own parking structure. Which Macy’s does validate for.
I was in Arden Way Macy’s on Sunday night because I realized there is Father’s Day sale. I purchased a very nice wedding which initially was $400. I was in the fitting room and the front desk paged everyone to leave the store by 8:00. I rushed to the first floor to check out but most of the staff were gone. We met “ Scot” he was wonderful, kind, respectful, and patient with us. He was a cashier at the Women’s Shoe desk. In the middle of scanning the suit, we figured out my purchasing item doesn’t have a scan tag on it. He gave us external time to find a similar time with a tag. He spent almost 30 min of his time helping us. I appreciate this person and I would like to ask his manager to raise his salary and give him a higher-level position because he deserves to serve in a better position. He told me his a father of two kids. Happy Father’s Day to him again.
Got ignored by three workers in Customer Service. One was pretending to clean her area, the other one talking to the other employee. With no other customers. Disregarding customers is one way to not make money for your company. Other than that everything was great. My wife loved the large amount of clothes available.
