We had the pleasure of visiting Macy’s with friends and family. We were looking for luggage for our family members and found the Macy’s employees to be very helpful while we were looking through the luggage department. The luggage department had a nice selection of luggage and they were sales going on on that would discount the luggage 40% -50%. If your looking for luggage Macy’s is a nice spot to try.
The staff here are very snobby, especially the perfumer. I buy quite a few Dior and Chanel perfumes here but never had a good experience. except for one time with a male employee who seems to be a manager
I recently visited Macy’s with the hope of purchasing some women’s clothes, but unfortunately, my shopping experience was far from pleasant due to the poor interaction with the cashiers. Throughout my visit, I encountered a consistent lack of warmth, respect, and basic courtesy from the cashiers at the checkout counters.
Upon approaching the cashiers to complete my purchases, I made sure to extend a friendly greeting, saying hello each time, but to my surprise, they never responded. It felt disheartening to be met with such coldness, as a simple acknowledgment can go a long way in creating a positive shopping experience.
What struck me the most was that none of the cashiers bothered to ask whether I found everything I needed or if I required any assistance. Basic customer service etiquette should involve showing genuine interest in the customer’s needs and ensuring they have a satisfactory shopping experience. Sadly, this was not the case during my several visits to Macy’s.
Again, a great number of dress choices, however, they are not available in all sizes. Even the jean pants are not pretty organized, and it took me around an hour to find one in my size and choice of color. Pretty much clumsy (in the cloth section), and it may sometimes take forever to get what you are looking for. In the jewelry section, they are lacking the staff that you need to wait for a long time for your turn (when I visited this place the last week, I found only one lady to be managing all the watch and jewelry stores).
I’ve always shop for perfume for my wife there, they sure have a large selection. Their prices those items have been reasonable. Sometimes it takes a bit to get waited on because they have one person taking care of that section.
