What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I don’t even think it’s possible to give this place a negative review. The entire experience was great. They’ll be more than happy to assist with anything that within their power. Plus it’s not too far from BevMo!😂

  2. Took my 2 babies in for grooming and they’ve had the best cut ever!! Ananda J is simply amazing!

  3. We miss Nico! We have taken our poodle for grooming here 5 times, the first 3 times were superb! Nico was very patient and always received our dog with excitement and a big smile, you can tell she took good care of him. The service deteriorated the last 2 times since she left, hence 3 Stars out of 5, we will definitely try somewhere else.

  4. We go here every Friday for breakfast. Small and cozy and the food is great. Not a place for you to dine in though. Most people go there for take out.

  5. This pace is addicting, lol. We’ve gone in 3 times this week alone. The staff are very polite and helpful, and you meet other pet lovers with good advice as well as just chatting it up about having a pet in the family. The coupon book saved us quite a bit on our first day when we needed literally everything for our AJ’s welcoming into his new home. Close and convenient!!!

I found my new best friend here a year ago and he’s the perfect cat. The staff was great and helpful. I got him after I had lost my cat of 16 years so I was very nervous about getting a new kitty, but I’m so thankful I did! He’s very loving and talkative!

Shelters have been given such a bad name but this place is truly a safe haven for animals. We just got our sweet well trained girl from them this week and couldn’t be happier. So glad we we’re chosen to give her a forever home. Thank you all so much ❤️ Sugar (Luna) says hi 👋

Got my kitten in August. He’s the cutest little kitty ever. The animal center was very efficient and took care of everything.

My dog was snatched from out of his second home because of this place ,i say second because it was a temporary place we found him when my partners parents wanted to get rid of him ,he was living there for a few months and one day the elderly lady there went to the hospital and we went to check on him daily like we normally do and he was taken here ,I exhausted my options trying to get him a home ,he was living there because we don’t have a home of our own ,i was given only two days before i had to surrender him and was not allowed to see him ,I ran out crying feeling impotent In being unable to save the love of my life , my special boy oso ,he is elderly and has a cataract in one eye ,I don’t see them posting elderly dogs on their Instagram ,only puppies ,I hope my boy who is full of life wasn’t put down but I fear so but I also hope he’s being taken care of or adopted ,i can only guess ,I’m heartbroken and forever will have my oso in my heart ,I wish they wouldn’t have disturbed his place of living 💔 Update:Rc animal center only had him for a day when they decided they were going to euthanize my life loving boy ,somehow by a miracle golden years dog sanctuary in Silmar was able to save him ,I talked to the woman who runs it Susan and she seemed ok over the phone ,I asked if i could visit him and she agreed ,but once I got there right on time on the day and time she agreed upon her demeanor was far different ,upon arriving she said oh no you were supposed to be here at a different time ,which wasn’t true and we came all the way from Rancho Cucamonga ,she then made us sign a paper that said we are entering at our own risk ,ok I’ll risk anything for oso ,she changed my 12 year old boys name to chow mein which I also don’t understand ,but ok she saved his life so I was fine with that ,when I got to where the dogs were being kept i realized her claims on her website were false ,stating that they have “dogominiums” with ac and heating ,far from it ,just two unkept kennels and a lot of dirt ,oso loves trees and plants ,their were none ,when I saw him he had lost so much weight and seemed confused in comparison to the energetic happy boy he was with me one month prior ,she doesn’t seem like she gives them individual care ,seemed to have a hard time handling so many elderly dogs ,even made a joke about another dog trying to kill oso ,she was very rude and in a span of 10 minutes, once again coming from an hour away kicked us out ,I was and am still so sad ,I Wish he was with me and not with someone like her or was ever taken from me in general

We found a dog during the weekend, and they were able to help the poor baby. I hope he finds a good home.

I adopted the sweetest and smartest cat from this shelter. She has quickly become an integral part of our family for the past two months. Every moment spent with her has been an absolute joy, as she is a true sweetheart. The shelter staff was incredibly generous, providing us with blankets, toys, and treats for our new furry friend. They even wrote a note about her, describing her as having an abundance of love to give. We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful companion and to have had such a positive adoption experience at this shelter!

I have dealt with this particular shelter numerous times for different reasons. I have never adopted a dog through them but if I were going to, I would definitely look at their dogs first. They work hard to treat them for illness and injury and give them every chance so that they are not put down. I have raised money for this shelter through my dog group on Facebook. We have over 1000 small breed dog owners in the group and they are all dog lovers. My group collected money toward the care of the dogs in the shelter. I have also gone to them for vaccinations and dental care for my dogs, and they are very reasonably priced. I think they are one of the best shelters in our area.

A very nice shelter that provides many opportunities to adopt pets at a low cost. They are very knowledgeable on the animals they have available and put out announcements on their social media if they believe they have found a lost pet. Meeting rooms are nice, spacious, and clean. Kennels and cages are clean and well attended to. Pets available all have beds and blankets. Pets go on daily walks and receive affection from staff and volunteers. They give you an adoption kit with every pet you adopt that includes a free bag of food from Cozy Pet Supplies up the street and a very generous $25 voucher for their second hand shop nearby. Doggy chew, 2 blankets, bandana, and medical history (if available) of the pet was given to me. All included in the cost of the adoption fee. They have very very nice pet beds also available for only $10. Most stores sell them for a minimum of $25+ for the same size! A wonderful shelter to find your new best friend! I know I have found two of my best friends from this shelter (as well as one escapee who went on an adventure and got lost for one night. We picked her up the next day). They give you their “mugshot” photo when you go claim them. Very funny and cute! Makes for a great memory keepsake.

I’ve read the reviews, and I must admit that I don’t agree with the unfavorable ones. I don’t know where they are coming from, but based on my countless interactions with them, I can only speak highly of this location. I have adopted 2 dogs from them and they are very happy. Although adopting an animal takes a little while, I understand that it is necessary for the animals’ safety. The staff is really kind and helpful. They genuinely care about the animals’ welfare and ensure that they are placed in a loving home. They also operate a no-kill shelter, which I much respect.

It’s hard to give them two stars. I wish our experience was good, but it was not at all; there are a lot of mixed and sad emotions. This shelter is a non-kill, but to get an opportunity to adopt the doggie you have a connection with, you need to have a relationship with the shelter manager—an unfortunate situation. If you see the reviews, I’m not the only one that feels that way.
