What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Amy and her team go above and beyond daily to help Clarksville’s over population issues. Without low cost spay/neuter options, people would be unable to get their pets fixed. Spay and neuter is the only way to stop the craziness. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Four cats which were fixed today. All females and now no kittens for these beautiful girls.

  2. I have now taken 17 cays to them, and they have done a fantastic job. Today was the first time I took a female. She was spaded and had her nails trimmed. They did a beautiful job and took care of her. They are priced low for all the time and attention they gave her.

  3. Absolutely LOVE the humane society! I have had 3 cats neutered/spayed there so far and they did an excellent job. Drop off and pick up always went smoothly and all cats recovered perfectly. Thank you for offering your services at such an affordable price and working so hard for all these animals!

  4. Since I can not get anyone on the line. One of our dogs got neutered here on the 22nd everything was perfect staff was nice & the incision heals perfectly BUT he developed a bad cough a few days later and he shared the sickness with his brother. I have two dogs with a harsh kennel cough at home now. So if your dog got neutered here during this time please make sure they are healthy and get them checked out for kennel cough if you notice any signs. Thats all besides that I really cant say anything bad about the whole experience!

  5. These 2 got fixed and they did great
Long wait to get them in but it’s worth it
Staff was nice and worked in a timely matter

My family has only had good experiences here. The staff are kind, helpful, & work so hard to care for all of the animals. My husband and I found all 3 of our cats here. It took time by looking for several days in a row, even waiting a few weeks, to make sure we found good fits for our other kitties. Here are some pictures of our 3 healthy cats we’ve adopted from here over the past two years. Lily is in the first pic (she is gray, now 2 years old). Azula is in the second pic (she is black/brown, now 1 year old). Leo is in the third pic (he is gray/white, now 5 months old).

I went to the Animal Control 7/30/22 and personally I had a good experience. The staff was kind and very helpful and answered any questions I had. I originally went just to browse to see what they had and to my surprise they had a cute 9 week old puppy named Lizze which now is “Xena”. I was surprised because I was told they don’t often get puppies. I was so excited and fell in love with Lizzie aka Xena when I layed eyes on her. Xena was 9 weeks old when I adopted her. I was told she was a husky but she is not, rather a Shepard Pit mix. I’m so glad I showed up that day and got the puppy I deserved. If I decide to adopt again I certainly would return to Animal Control.

Today I went in to see the dogs, ready to leave without one. I’ve looked at a lot of dogs and most just weren’t the right fit. Met a dozen more as this lovely sweet good boy sat quietly, not barking or jumping, just watching me meet other dogs with interest. When his turn came he was this best good boy and he is forever home with my family now. We could not be happier. Pic of him politely ignoring cats as they slowly check him out.

This place is disgusting and the costumer service is straight up horrible. Their rude and ignorant and they obviously don’t care at all about animals. I dont see how this place is even still running with how poor the conditions and service is. Pathetic.

I am thankful that the facility is here for the animals but some staff members need to work on there customer service manners. Not everyone but some people are trying to do the good thing by bringing in lost pets or abandon ones and are treated like they are the ones doing wrong by bringing them in to get them out of the cold or to find their family and u treat them like they are putting a burden on u.

Puurrrfect Paws is one of our sister rescues who always goes above and beyond in helping us to find the most exceptional homes for our babies. They thoroughly screen all applicants so we can rest assured our kitties are always going to a home that is the perfect fit for them. Although many people don’t understand why it is “such a big deal” to declaw a cat, throw a kitty outside, or adopt a single kitten at a vulnerable age (they are social and must be with another kitten to prevent depression and behavioural problems), ANYONE in rescue will know why all applicants are screened so thoroughly. Thank you so much PPR for working so hard day in and day out, bridging that connection between kitties and their best forever homes. We appreciate you!

Kitties, kitties and more kitties! Always a variety. Application process is easy (detailed, for a reason, but easy nonetheless) and when approved, they set up meet and greets that works for you.

Judy and Jessica are the owners of this rescue, and I can’t say enough great things about my experience with them and PPR! Thousands of kitties have been saved thanks to their organization/logistical skills, professionalism, kindness, and people skills. Their hearts are in it, as seen by how many senior, sick, surrendered, and injured kitties they take in. If you are looking to add a new feline, I cannot recommend puurrrfect paws enough!! Thank you for giving me my Gilly and Gustav 💗

I’m all for a good adoption but i’m not going to lie Puurrrfect Paws Rescue is one of the most frustrating places..they are not wanting the cats to be adopted unless you adopt two. I understand that cats like to have friends and like to be social but at the end of the day if you can give the cat the right amount of attention a good home and all the essential needs then that should be enough. These people are so selfish and don’t let the cats get adopted. I went in to there rescue and every cat i said i was interested in they sat there and gave me every excuse not to adopt them. The whole vibe was negative and when i asked questions it was like i was being judged and shut down. All of these cats deserve home…loving homes, and i think it is just so frustrating that I couldn’t adopt the one i wanted and here it is adopted.
