What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Honestly was a good hotel for us this weekend. Front desk people were both nice and helpful. Quick and very easy check in. Rooms are exactly what you pay for. And bed was good to sleep in. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but the shower was good and the bed was clean. House keeping was very friendly and helpful. Check out was easy too. Would definitely consider this place again.

  2. When I stayed here, I loved how nice the rooms were. My main complaints are mainly how thin the walls are, and the shower in my room wouldn’t work at all. One of the guests complained about a ciggarette smell but luckily I didn’t have that, but my room was pretty clean. I’d stay here again if I’m not in a rush to go anywhere since it’s in a pretty good area (not far from the beach and eaterys).

  3. I like the covered/somehow secured parking, and it looks brand new(considering they’re renovating some of the facilities). The fridge and microwave is a plus. The room smells cigarette(albeit we chose a non-smoking room), and as a pregnant couple, it is bad for me and the baby. We don’t want to change our reservation because it’s hassle, and we are very tired from a long drive. We just wanted to rest. The bed is comfortable, as opposed to two soft thin pillows, which is very uncomfortable. Also, there are cigarette burns on the sheets. The first night, it’s really hard to breathe because of cigarette smell plus the thin pillow. I hope they let the cigarette air flow out before providing it to guests, or clean the room very thoroughly.

  4. 70 years old and have never had a Motel experience as bad as this. Office under construction so had to conduct business at a window outside. First night no AC/ heat. Toilet seat was filthy. A no smoking Motel, but smoke odor in room, and burn holes in bedding. Very bad experience. Morning lady at the window was nice and polite. Night person was rude. Never again!!

  5. I did appreciate how quiet it was. There was renovation going on in other rooms during the day but who is in their room during the day?? It was very clean, the walkways and the room itself. I could see the efforts to modernize. It is get-what you-pay-for and I couldn’t afford something more expensive. I overall enjoyed my stay.

I had two big issues. The first was that there were no batteries in the smoke detector. The battery cover was hanging open. Second, the website did not state that there were no visitors allowed. I could understand why but there was stating it up front when you book online, just on a sign at the window at the hotel itself. I happened to be staying there without my husband but I really would have liked if he could come hang out. He could not.

It was difficult to find all the hotel’s policies/rules on the website. They were only in the menu when you book a room. A separate page with all the policies would have been useful.

I would not return because the no visitors rule is not what I’m looking for. If that doesn’t bother you, this place is good for the price.

Rooms were good, not a 5 star resort but was great for what it was. All aspects of the motel were I decent service. Again was good for what it was basically one person ,kIn the check in area. And one housekeeping person. Everything else was on par.

The room was decent and clean. There was a weird beeping noise from within the building so it was hard to sleep. It is better than most for the price and for a short visit.

Great location for the price……but when you arrive at 11 pm, tired, and they won’t give you a room, because your booking is under the name of Bill, and your driver’s license says William🙄 ,and you have to raise your voice before you teach them a common name usage that evolved around 1066, and then a management consultation finally gets you that room, I mean, if you don’t know that…. And the ice maker cycles on and off loudly outside. And they don’t have the courtesy to talk you construction is taking place on the stairs outside your door first thing in the morning..

When the front desk girl/boy asks you to show her/him your ID at check in, make sure that they return it to you accordingly. They often forget to return it to you after they scan/copy, then put that responsibility on the customers. My friend experienced that. They never apologized to her, didn’t even try to call her after they found out that their mistake. I assisted her to get through this. I don’t recommend to stay. There are so many nicer & cheaper ones in South Bay Area.

The rooms were nice and clean, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re Japanese. They offer both a traditional style breakfast and Continental breakfast but by that it’s only bread and some fruit. The Japanese breakfast is served in a restaurant and you have to ask for a voucher the night before. The staff is nice but are a lot nicer if you speak their native language as they would rarely greet me when I walked in/out. The hotel seems like it doesn’t get many guests though so it was nice and quiet during my stay and had little noise pollution coming from outside.

Great service and very convenient location right behind Tokyo Central. Tokyo Central closes at 10 so I had a chance to go buy some water and snacks right before they closed. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean (carpet felt brand new – very cushy) and overall I would definitely return!

We were looking for an hotel, and since we were on a road trip we hadn’t booked in advance. After many tries, we found (by looking on Google Maps) this place that looked nice.

I can assure you that this was one of my best stays in CA. The rooms were really big, the place is located near a Japanese Shopping center which has some interesting restaurants.

The Wi-Fi was really fast when we stayed there, and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my stay, even though the breakfast (as far as I remember) wasn’t really good.

The place itself is really calm (or at least, was when we went there) and each room has a direct access to the garden, which is really cool.

I really enjoyed the place 🙂

Simple but clean and comfy. We were very happy with our room and the price. The front desk attendants were also cheerful and helpful.
