2 months agoVery pleased with my stay at the Avalon Resort. Upon checking in I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to help. They are pet friendly which was helpful to allow us to bring our pup. Had one issue with AC not getting cold but maintenance came and fixed it within a few minutes of telling the front desk. The putting green next to the pool was a pleasant surprise. Our room was very large with a full kitchen and master bedroom so plenty of room and awesome balcony with water view. Thank you to everyone at Avalon! Can’t wait to visit again.a month agoVery friendly and professional staff! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff here really accommodates the guests. Our room had a full kitchen and was super comfortable with a beautiful view of beach road and the pool! Definitely will come again!7 months agoWe’ve been here a week now. Normally we stay at higher end property when we travel, but with the tough economy right now, we decided to go economic. Always a gamble! We took a red eye flight and got to the property pretty early in the morning (way before check in time). The office was locked but a phone number on the door. I called and got Christine. She immediately came down and checked us in early. We were so tired from the flight so to be able to get in early and get some sleep was amazing. She also upgraded our room to a room with a kitchen. Another big plus. And upon leaving tomorrow with a late flight, Christine came through again and is accommodating a late check out. So yeah, the customer service is A+ and a huge shout out to Christine. The thing to keep in mind is value. For the price, it is an excellent value in the area. Yes, an older hotel but that is some of the charm. It has everything you need. Two comfortable beds. A big room. A kitchen. Pool was great and the beach is across the street. Now, if you compare this hotel to the ones all around you in the area you might be disappointed. But you didn’t pay the price for the nice hotel, now did you? So again, a great value if you are on a budget. It’s all about expectations and if your expectations are properly set, this is a gem…P.S. The Publix grocery store was amazing. They have a sandwich counter in their deli. And lots of other great options too. And their key lime pie there is top notch!!!
5 months agoWe’ve had an amazing week with our 2 kids for spring break. Nice location, close to the beach and the pier. Nice pool also. Staff was very kind!

a year agoI did not stay here. My daughter and her kids did but I spent every day at the pool with my grandson. The 1 BR apartment was clean and well appointed. The location was perfect. And the management was great about check out. Is it the Ritz. No. But it is a great price for a great place to stay.a year agoThe Buccaneer’s condos are all privately owned and available on airbnb: I asked the maintenance man as we were leaving and he was checking the chemical levels of the hot tub to confirm. The one we stayed in was wonderful with a king size memory foam mattress, full kitchen with plenty of dishes and pots/pans, dining table and chairs, living room furniture… and all the little odds and ends that might need, even at your home. It truly was turn-key. The location was exactly what we wanted, being only 2 blocks from the beach and one from restaurants. There were a few maintenance items needing attention but nothing that would turn us away from staying in this particular unit again.10 months agoGreat location and nice upgraded room with comfortable bed. My biggest concern is that there is no smoke detector which is a major safety issue.2 years agoIt’s an okay place. Our room had a musky odor. I feel they should have deodorizer. Parking spot, we were the unlucky ones getting a very small space. We contacted the renter and he switched us to a more comfortable spot. In the listing it said remodeled. The 2 apts we rented weren’t remodeled.2 years agoLocation is great if you want to be near the ocean, restaurants and a couple souvenir shops. Also seems great for nightlife and partying. The rental itself is ok. Bathtub and mattresses need repaired. Bedroom air conditioner is horribly loud when it kicks on, will wake you up during the night. Blinds are all broken and can’t be opened to let sunlight in. Unit is fairly clean and ok though. Definitely needs a few things updated though

The whole building is amazing. We’ve been staying there for our family vacations since we were kids and now it’s our kids turns to get to enjoy it!
This place is the best, I used to spend 3 months every winter staying here, They have since changed from a managed establishment to private individual units, Thus trying to get a long term rental is next to impossible, If you are lucky enough to get a unit, grab it up, Deerfield Beach across the intercostal is my favorite spot in the world, I am a bit prejudice since I worked in Boca Raton for a few years,
This is the most AMZING place to to stay. You have a kitchen and laundry in your condo. You have a pool out your back door and 30 ft from that you are on the beach. Coming in was seemless. The owners are top notch incredible. (The folks we rented from) I can not find a single things negative to say. This is paradise. I will be staying here every time we come down which we hope to make an annual trip. Thank you so much for the amazing stay!
Unit #302: Perfect location for a weekend getaway or a relaxing break from life. Steps away from the beach, close to restaurants and nightlife, you can’t ask for a better spot to decompress. Watching the sunrise from the third floor balcony, while savoring my coffee, was exactly that little “me time” that I was yearning for. I cannot wait for my next stay in this little piece of paradise. 🌞
