What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I absolutely love the Mod Wash! I was skeptical at first. I didn’t think paying a subscription for a car wash would be worth it. I have been using mod wash for half a year now and I will tell you it’s definitely worth the $20 a month. You get so much value for it, I can go to the car wash as many times as I want! My little sister loves to go through the car wash she says it’s like a bath party for your car. Music plays through out the car wash along with colored lights as you go through. Then after your car is done they have what I’ve been calling the vacuum lot. Parking spaces full of vacuum cleaners that you can use for as long as you want at no extra cost! Along with trash cans to throw away trash, rags and cleaner for your windows again at no extra cost. Every visit they give you a complimentary air freshener. My car is always smelling good. They are open all year around even on rainy or snowy days they are open. With all this I think the $20 a month is definitely worth it as long as you clean your car twice a month. I go at least twice a week I have the cleanest car out of everyone in my family and it’s a enjoyable experience. I can’t recommend it enough.

  2. I would recommend mod washed to anyone and everyone that lives in my town. Their service is the best starting with the young lady name, Angelica. She was super great very informational and helped me thru the whole process. It was my first time here and she was awesome.

  3. My parking spot is under a tree so I have to come through a few times a week. I have a membership. It definitely worth it. Chris at the Vineland, NJ location is the best. Chris is always pleasant and willing to help and answer your questions. Only four stars because the machine to clean mats is out of order☹️ (I prefer to use the machine opposed to vacuuming my mats). You can take your time and clean your car the way you want to.

  4. I think it’s a genius concept. HOWEVER, they flat out LIE (on the website) with their pricing.. to the point where I was charged almost 3x on my initial payment than what was clearly stated in my payment agreement/bill.

I was actually on location and had already spoken to the employees there, because I thought it was weird how the website was offering packages for half the price than the car wash itself was. SUPER awesome, knowledgeable employees informed me that the way it works is that you spend that 50% off or so price and then start getting charged the real monthly price on the 1st of the next month.

Because of that, I was super suspicious of doing the transaction through the website.. so I screenshotted EVERY single bit of text throughout my transaction. Therefore, I have screenshots of the exact payment I agreed to pay that day for a month of unlimited washes, all the fine-print terms involved, and the LACK OF anything stating what I would be charged monthly in the future.

NOWHERE in the terms did it say anything about me spending a different amount of money that day than what was advertised!

On the payment confirmation page it simply listed a specific amount I was confirming to be charged that day, and a very short paragraph of terms. The charge went through immediately and instead of it being the $10 and change I agreed to pay that day, I was charged almost THREE TIMES that amount.

As for the fine print/terms of the subscription: (SHADYYY) The only thing the terms really stated at all was that they reserve the right any time in the *future* of my subscription, WITHOUT NOTICE, to raise the monthly price, without limit**!!!!

Being that I have screenshots of absolutely every word you come across through the process of purchasing a subscription, I absolutely could have disputed the initial charge, especially because the last page was a very clear bill with the $10 and something sense amount I was agreeing to pay that day, and then instead was charged the full amount, almost $30, of this package. The only reason I didn’t at that time was because I incorrectly thought that overall I was spending the same amount thinking my next charge would be 30 days later, however I ended up spending MORE then any established subscription customers as I spent the full monthly price for ~1-2 weeks of the remaining month. I guess looking back now that I’m writing this review I realize I probably should have done something about it.

I’m also super uncomfortable with continuing to do business with this company, because of the wording in their terms about them reserving the right at any time WITHOUT NOTICE to lower or raise the monthly price, without any language offering even a maximum that they could change the monthly price to. That’s super problematic, worrisome, and shady. That means that without any notice, one month I could start getting charged $100 a month and I wouldn’t technically be able to do anything about it!

Lastly, and I feel like this will be important to a lot of you, I had just bought a white Mazda. It was pretty clean when I got it, I just wanted to take it through a car wash for the first time for fun.

When I pulled out to hand dry my car, I noticed a few dozen tiny black spots everywhere from the hood, to the side panels, to the top of the trunk and was worried they were permanent. NOPE! They came off immediately, simply by me wiping over them once with the car washes towel. So, how did they not come off in the top tier wash?!

I decided to use the spots to experiment with just how good, or horrible, this car wash is by leaving most of the spots and going through again, and then again, and then again JUST TO FIND THE BLACK MARKS REMAINED!

That’s FOUR TIMES in a row, in their top tier wash, and it didn’t remove black spots I could easily wipe right off with my finger.

Every employee is absolutely cheerful, knowledgeable, and overall great. The lot is pristine. The vacuums are good, and they have little air guns for crevices.

Lastly: THEIR HOURS SUCK. This’ll prob be what drives me to cancel my sub.

  5. Brought my car in for the first time — grill and rims are ✨ glossy ✨.
Nate and Chris were very helpful.

What Services Do You Get in a Touchless Car Wash?

Touchless car wash is a type of car washing service that utilizes high-pressure water jets and detergents to remove dirt and grime from the vehicle’s surface. Unlike traditional car wash methods, touchless car washes do not involve any brushes or physical contact between the cleaning equipment and the car’s exterior. This eliminates the risk of scratches or damage to the paintwork, making it a safer and gentler option for cleaning your vehicle.

The touchless car wash service typically includes the following:

  • Pre-soak: The process starts with a pre-soak, where a specially formulated detergent is sprayed onto the vehicle’s surface. This detergent helps to loosen and dissolve the dirt and grime, making it easier to remove during the subsequent cleaning stages.
  • High-pressure rinse: After the pre-soak, a high-pressure water jet is used to rinse off the loosened dirt and detergent. The water is sprayed at a high velocity, ensuring thorough cleaning and removal of all the loosened particles.
  • Detergent application: Another round of detergent is applied onto the vehicle. This step aims to remove any remaining dirt, as well as to provide a deep cleaning effect. The detergent is usually chosen based on the type of vehicle and its specific cleaning needs.
  • High-pressure rinse (again): Following the detergent application, a second round of high-pressure rinsing is done to remove the remaining dirt and detergent from the car’s exterior. This step ensures a complete and thorough cleaning.
  • Spot-free rinse: To prevent watermarks and streaks on the vehicle’s surface, a spot-free rinse is performed. This involves the use of specially treated water that does not leave any residue behind, resulting in a clean and shiny finish.
  • Drying: The final step in a touchless car wash is the drying process. Usually, powerful blowers or air dryers are used to remove any remaining water droplets from the vehicle’s surface, leaving it completely dry and ready for use.

Overall, touchless car wash services offer an effective and safe method for cleaning your vehicle. With its high-pressure water jets and detergents, it can remove dirt and grime without the risk of causing scratches or damage to the car’s exterior. This type of car wash is also suitable for a wide range of vehicles, including those with delicate paintwork or specialty finishes.

The worst car wash I’ve ever had from them. My family and I have used this car wash for years and we have never had an issue. This is the sloppiest job I’ve ever had. My car is still dirty. I had to say “my car is still dirty on the side” it just came off the line from being washed how is that possible? Covered in smudges. My windshield you could barely see through. It’s ridiculous. This was not worth the amount I paid.

Update: After calling the owners to explain how dissatisfied I was with my service they had me come back and asked me to edit my review. Upon arrival I was told by the men who handle the vacuuming portion that “they did the best they could, it was sandy” (this is why I bought my car to the car wash) then proceeded to vacum my car again and the sand was gone. Why wasn’t it done to the best of their ability the first time? When I got to the group of men who handled the polishing they stated “We did the best we could, this is a scuff” then proceeded to re polish my car and the “scuff” was gone. Again, why wasn’t this done the first time? The service the car cleaning staff does is sloppy and this is a constant complaint amongst many that I have spoken with that have gone here and I shouldn’t of had to come back, it should’ve been done correctly the first time. I will say the owners are very nice, but their car staff is very sloppy and that’s not acceptable when people are paying for a service to be done correctly the first time.

I went to get my car washed yesterday. Paying over 20 bucks for a wash and a vacuum is more than I’d like to pay. But normally I get great service. Yesterday was unacceptable. The entire back seat of my vehicle wasn’t even wiped down. Nor was it vacuumed. I have been a faithful customer for years. But now I will be reconsidering. Certainly didn’t get my monies worth at all.

For $25? Great job for price! Nothing is $25 anymore and you can opt for more economic packages. It had just been a while for me and just took a road trip. Staff was nice and courteous to me as it was my first time and didn’t know where to go. Really happy with my results! Great, convenient car wash in Vineland. 🧼🚗

Always a great job by them. The wash itself is quality and then the extras … towel dry , interior wipe, tire dressing and etc are top notch. Never a worry putting any of my cars through this wash. I’m very picky about my paint and I’ve never seen any rubs or scratches from the wash. The people doing the detailing work mainly on tips … don’t be bashful, put a few bucks in the tip box. They all know my cars when they see them and you can tell they know I tip. Great service and the employees are always very polite.

The car wash isn’t horrible but it’s definitely not the best, I had to pay TWICE because it said I already went through it but NOTHING HAPPENED! Its convenient and good for a quick wash and vacuum which I never vacuum my car here. I have used the vacuum with other people with their cars and they are strong and give you a decent amount of time in between dollars!

My go-to car wash. It’s touchless and gets the pollen off for $12. Takes cash or card.

Both auto washes leave my vehicles clean and the dryers actually dry! I hate when u spend $12 or something and the dryer doesn’t do its job all the way or it’s weak.

I’ve been going here for years every week and don’t have any issues. Thru the years, I’ve only had two issues that they resolved in less than a minute for me.

No, really I walked in Told the guy what’s up Walked out happy

    Just Like That

Customer service as it should be!

The place is kept clean and well maintained. If i ever need storage, this will be the first place I’d go. Keep up the good work, y’all!

Love this carwash although when I visited it the other day, I hadn’t noticed the new change that the vacuums no longer accept quarters, bills only. I had already changed my only 3$ in the machine… 😬 Opps

A carwash place that takes credit cards for the automatic wash! The brush auto wash is the best! The touchless was is better than most, but spotless rinse only his the passenger side and top of the vehicle. If you are affected by flashing lights do not go! It’s like disco fever in the touchless one. They have self wash bays as well but I haven’t used one because if I’m going to wash the car myself I’ll do it at home. It’s worth a trip if you need a quick wash and are in the area. Auto brush wash is down as of the time I’m writing this and the most expensive touchless wash was $12.00.

How to Protect Your Car’s Paint After a Car Wash

Keeping your car clean is important for both its appearance and its value. But even after you get your car washed, it’s important to take steps to protect the paint job. Here are some tips on how to protect your car’s paint after a car wash:

  • Wax your car regularly. Waxing your car creates a protective barrier that helps to repel dirt, grime, and other contaminants. This will help to keep your car’s paint looking its best for longer.
  • Use a microfiber cloth to dry your car. Microfiber cloths are soft and won’t scratch your car’s paint.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals on your car. Harsh chemicals can strip away the wax and sealant from your car’s paint, leaving it vulnerable to damage.
  • Inspect your car after every car wash. Inspect your car for any damage, such as scratches or swirl marks. If you see any damage, report it to the car wash immediately.

Here are some additional tips to protect your car’s paint after a car wash:

  • Avoid washing your car in direct sunlight. The sun can dry the water on your car’s paint too quickly, which can cause water spots.
  • Don’t over-wash your car. Washing your car too often can strip away the wax and sealant, leaving it vulnerable to damage.
  • Park your car in the shade. Parking your car in the shade will help to protect its paint from the sun’s harmful rays.

Here are some additional products that can help protect your car’s paint:

  • Paint sealant: Paint sealant is a clear coat that helps to protect your car’s paint from the elements.
  • Car wax: Car wax is a type of polish that helps to protect your car’s paint and give it a shine.
  • Waterless car wash: A waterless car wash is a type of car wash that uses a spray-on solution to clean your car without the need for water.

These products can help to protect your car’s paint from the elements and keep it looking its best for years to come.
