She has patience with our pup as he learned new behaviors. She is knowledgeable about animal behavior, training techniques, and the health/nutrition of our pup. She has effective communication skills to not only execute commands to our pup in a way he would understand but also in a way new pup parents could understand and execute at home/away from training. She is very consistent, which helped our pup learn and remember behaviors faster, and was adaptable and flexible in her training techniques. Georgia also has compassion and dedication and treated our pup with kindness and respect using positive reinforcement and encouraged good behavior and was committed to training our pet to continue to do desired behaviors. I am so happy Georgia was our trainer and we will continuously visit this Petco location so our pup can see his favorite teacher!By Kenesma John (3 months ago)My boyfriend and I were having a little trouble trying to train our pups to listen to basic commands but Georgia at the petco obedience class did the training perfectly. They listened right out the gate and the outcome from the few weeks of training really helped!! They loved to go and see her, as she is very personable and communicative and loves dogs. Definitely would recommend you to get your dogs trained by Georgia!!By Mackenzie Bray (2 months ago)Georgia is a great dog trainer. We have a 1 year old Shiba Inu. If you read on this breed they’re very hard breed to train. My husband and I were loosing hope and everything we tried wasn’t working. Our dog would be naughty, chew walls, poop in house, he had no respect for us. Georgia taught us obedience, tricks, postive reinforcement, and understanding this breed. Teddy graduated with flying colors with Georgia. We’re super happy we went to her she’s a life saver. Now we can enjoy our dog.By Kara Kristine (2 weeks ago)We just finished our six week puppy one obedience classes. Georgia was the trainer. She was very informative and friendly durning our classes. She absolutely loves animals and it shows. She has a great connection and understanding of dogs. Georgia gave me lots of useful tips on how to train Bengal. Each week she gave me suggestions on what to work with him on. She was always available to answer any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend Georgia as a trainer and her classes. Just like we used to have as a kid. Love it here. They do shot clinics, which I’m about to go to today. A variety of pet foods & accessories are well stocked. They also have convenient pet grooming services which provide bathing & nail trimming-One pup looked amazingly happy as the groomer gave it a bath. The prices are competitive for all products & services. The birds & fish the store sells look healthy & happy. The store is clean & the appearance inviting. They have great incentives for shopping, sales, coupons & a five dollar discount when you spend X amount on goods. The very nice lady getting up our fish needed help. A second lady came by and then never came back.
There was no help to be found this day. Went looking for a rabbit or other small animal for an easter pet. No small animals there that I could find, and had never seen a rabbit there. Looked at the birds, and almost choked when I saw the price on zebra finches at like $49.99! I got them for $12.99 a couple years ago. The best part of the trip was a fresh load of goldfish that were very active. My kid loved them swimming around.
if you love your fur baby do not bring them here. It’s my second time bringing my fur baby to this place the first time it was fine but the second time HORRIBLE! Not only the haircut my baby looks so bad and he wasn’t even that matted. I paid $104 for a grooming that we did not like not to mention my dog has been shaking for the past 48hrs. I have no idea what’s wrong with him he is not himself. Do not bring your pets here it is awful! My baby had a cut on his chest and is traumatized. Not only that as I was waiting for them to bring me my dog there was another groomer holding another dog and literally PULLING HIM FROM THE LEASH as I sat there and watched. Def going to find another place for my baby cause this was not it
Everything is outrageously expensive. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only reason I would go back is if they carried products I needed that no one else had and I had to have them for my pet.
