  1. I went there for Halloween event. Went there to take my son to do something. First thing I said was we not adopting no animals. Staff were so nice and friendly. Also they were very patient with all the people looking for animals. Me, I walk by a cage and felt a paw tapping me. Rest Is history. Now she is added to the fur family at home.

  2. I have been to this place over a dozen times and I cannot recommend it enough. Everyone there is so helpful and kind. All animals deserve a good home. I adopted my cat from there in July and the volunteer who helped us was so sweet and gave us so much information on him. She explained everything about him and about FIV (he is positive). You can tell they really care about the animals in their care.

    I got my dog just a few days ago, and when I say the staff went above and beyond I cannot emphasize it enough. I was looking to adopt a dog to become a service dog. I fell in love with one dog and wanted to have my trainer come and take a look. There was a mix up and the dog went to the clinic but the staff was so helpful and let us take her out for observation with the trainer. The behaviorist came and spoke to us and enough offered suggestions of other dogs that she thought would do well as a scent trained dog. Everyone was so kind and caring along the way.

    They always offer specials, they keep you very informed, they give you a good bag and tips for first time pet owners. They really go over the top to help you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the staff members who helped me (I wish I would have remembered their names). They were able to find 2 great animals a wonderful home.

    Sweet Potatoe is our new family member thanks to the fine folks at the Orange County Animal rescue. They were running a start of the year special so for $20 you get a dog that is chipped, fed, and proper healthcare. The staff was all very sweet and seem to love the animals. Thanks to the team for making this so easy.

  4. ⚠️ What Ocas doesn’t tell you that I found out the hard way.
    Big dogs breed restrictions
    If you are renting a house make sure your landlord knows what type of dog you are getting. Most landlords don’t want specific breeds do to there home insurance giving them a hard time. Which is illegal if you got him to become an ESA pet or service dog. If you have the patience to fight your landlord in court go ahead.
    If you own your own home than you have no issues.
    I have to give my pet back to them. I could not find a rescue in time. I will surrendering on the first of March. My family is distraught. I’ll miss you Shoku.

  5. I recently lost my kitty of 12 years and my family and I were looking for a new cat. I searched their website and saw a cat I was interested in. I had never been there before and everyone that I encountered was friendly and answered all my questions. Ended up with a new cat…❤️❤️

    I’m very disappointed. Yesterday I took my baby maltés for the first time to get groomed. We had let her hair grow and I asked for her to keep her head, tail and legs long. Just her body and around her mouth to be trimmed. But instead I received my baby with all her body trimmed. 1inch length all around her body and not even properly trimmed. I regret not to say anything at that moment but I was exited to finally picked her up after leaving her for the first time. Overwhelmed with my baby’s excitement and a little confused on what I was seen. So I paid my $96 for this hair cut that wasn’t done properly in any way. I wish I had her name with me. But I don’t. She was very nice though and told me that my baby didn’t surprised her of how well behaved she was. She said she didn’t even looked like it was her first time grooming. After all this I just want to say that if she couldn’t do the haircut she could’ve told me. I recrear to Pat for such an aweful experience and bad haircut. This pictures are just depressing.

    On this account I review places my service dog in training, Barbie and I visit. We visited here for some animal exposure and to pick up some chews. It’s a busy store-not everyone cares as much about watching their animals but that’s just petco, I had to put myself in between other dogs and my dog. My dog isn’t lunging but there certainly is that here and barking-they were training in the store and had staff around but there was still straight pee all over the store, again I get that it’s a petstore but I did see staff around the same areas I was also training so I would hope that this would be cleaned up. Had a great selection though honestly, so many toys. There’s a heavier focus for sure on the little little dogs for more of what I see carried, that’s not to say that there isn’t stuff for mid to large dogs but most is little guy stuff. We found just what we were looking for and typical prices. I am a bark brand fan and we get the box and on amazon and the prices here matched. The leashes and things were better priced than say a petsmart too.

    Been a loyal customer at this location for years but I will never spend my money at this establishment anymore! I have been taking my two dog to their vet and the groomers every 3 weeks consistently for 2 years now at this location. For a while costumer service was great and they showed great care to my dogs, which is why I kept thanking my dogs there. Recently they have not cared about their costumers even if your loyal to them. I was late for a vet appointment 10 minutes for one of my dogs because of traffic and even with letting them know they still cancelled my appointment and refused to see my dog because “the doctor is going to leave soon”. I only needed a rabies vaccine. I don’t understand because of 10 minutes you can’t see a dog that you have been seeing for years. Just shows how they really don’t care! I recommend you spend you money and take you dog somewhere else, at the very least a different location !!!

    I’m so happy that I found this place. They left my grand-babies so beautiful!!! They took their time to listen to how my daughters wanted them to do the grooming and the way they treated us was amazing. My experience in other places was not the best, so for me finding this place and seeing how happy the dogs and my daughters came out was everything for me. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

    The Kissimmee store is huge and very well stocked. You find things you’re not aware you need, until you do. The checkout person was extremely helpful and friendly.

    Well, i was looking for wild birds food. No options. Finally i found some. The total of my purchase was $12.01. I didn’t have any change with me,so i asked my wife to go in the car and get a “penny” . The cashier, a young girl just waited until my wife came back with the ” penny “. I commented to my wife, If we didn’t have a “penny” ,we wouldn’t be able to buy the birds food. The cashier responded to my comment that she would forget about the ” penny anyway”.so,…. Why she didn’t do it in the first place?🤔 A little more employees training would attract more customers, i think.

    I went here for the grooming. The groomers didn’t seem to clean my danes ears very well but everything else was superb. He had druff and brownish spots that we couldn’t get rid of since we rescued him. They managed to leave his coat looking flawless and he was still his happy self when he came back to me. ♡♡ I also bought him a collar and toy here. The toy was cheap and I got what I paid for. Hasn’t lasted a month but it was only $7. The collar however is the best collar I’ve owned ♡ very very happy with the purchase and it didn’t break the bank either. ♡
