- Reviews:I went here on December 14th to adopt my American bulldog after having to put my other American bulldog down on December 10 and I can’t say enough about how helpful those folks were in helping me to find the best replacement for Mickey. I’m happy and he’s happy to be together. I would recommend this place to everyone that’s looking for that special friend. I found him through American bulldog rescue which led me to Ramona humane society. They have lots of animals that need a forever home at their place that would make you as happy as me and max are. I would recommend these folks to anyone who needs a pet that will love you like no human ever couldBy terry dunn (6 months ago)Where to begin…for starters the staff could care less about you or your animals. My English Bulldog was stolen for a month nearly and was brought to them this week by some person saying he was shot in the head. I found out yesterday that he was there frantically I go first thing at 8am and the staff were SO INSENSITIVE AND NOT HELPFUL. They told me he was adopted out yesterday and there’s nothing they could do for me. They gave no regards for my tears, service animal paperwork, or pictures. The large heavy set girl told me not to wait around basically because he was already neutered and long gone. How evil. We found a 2 year old Cane Corso female dog and brought her home with us, and we couldn’t be happier. Instant friends, and we love seeing them together playing and running. Ramona Humane Society were really helpful, and they were sad knowing she was leaving because of the fact that she had been there seens pups. Answered questions and concerns I had; decided to adopt. Brought paperwork to me filled it out paid the fees and pick up the puppy after she’s spayed. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. He truly cared for my baby Otis who was diagnosed with heart failure, enlarged heart, and fluid buildup in the lungs. He took very good care of him and prescribed him medication and did everything he could to help my baby with the little money I had. Unfortunately my baby Otis finally succumbed to this terrible heart failure on 06.18.2023 on Father’s Day. I had to put him down at VCA early morning. He was the best chihuahua and this is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through and truly feel so empty and heartbroken. Thank you Mar Animal Hospital for caring for my baby and for being so kind every time I went in for him. We got there early so we wouldn’t have to wait in a long line. 8 a clock comes around they weren’t open on google it says they open at 8. We waited half an hour and finally two females showed up walked right passes us and open the doors. We didn’t know if they were open or not because they didn’t tell us anything not even greet us or let us know that they were open we went inside they lady had an attitude right away no greeting no nothing beside her bad attitude telling us they couldnt do anything till the doctor got there. I asked if we should put our names down on the list and she said I don’t know I guess if you want. I was so turned off by her I went to Small Animal Hospital on the other side of town. Such a different vibe right when we got in there we were greeted. The places was 100% cleaner and the staff were super nice and made sure to inform us about everything. They took care of our babies so good and they have next appointment set up as well. Just leaving this review so other people know and don’t come here to get treated like your bugging them. Just got our first puppy Mighty Max and we were able to get his harness as well as other chew toys
I don’t remember this Petco being so BIG and CLEAN! I found things here that I had no idea could be bought in store and not online, such as a 30 pound bag of guinea pig bedding. Friendly and helpful staff too.
Went to get formula and a bottle for a baby kitten that we found. Cashier was very friendly and gave us great tips for the care of our newborn.
Very helpful ,nice people . They go out of there way to help you . There cat litter deal is great . You go buy a square container of there cat litter about 21- 22 dollars . When you finish the container you bring it back in & you can refill it with fresh cat litter for $12. It’s a great deal .
