  1. This is my first time coming to this PetSmart location and I was very impressed. All the staff there were very friendly and very helpful and asked me if I even needed help looking for something. They also have a big selection of animals to choose from if you are looking for one they also have three cats when I went here two of them were kittens. I definitely give this place a five-star rating it was very clean inside and very big and lots of stuff to choose from and so many different brands as well. If you love PetSmart like I do and have not been to this location I definitely recommend checking this location out you will be very impressed. They also have a dog hotel in the back of the store.

  2. Pretty good selection of cat and dog supplies and food. Found a lot of cute items. Downside is the animal care still isn’t great (like the chinchilla enclosure) but that’s a corporate level issue, not store level.

  3. I waited over 30 min before they closed just for the manager to get a hamster. He stayed in the office, even when the cashier told him we were waiting.
    When he came to us, he told us he was closing in 2 min and the lights were just for kids to look at the Hamsters and not for selling them.
    However, I just left all the items we were gonna get for the hamster. He was more consern about closing even tho we waited over 30 min before that. The cashier was too busy, but he was nice and trying his best.

  4. made an appointment for my dogs to be groomed and called twice on different days beforehand to confirm that no cancellation will occur the day of. I arrive the day of the appointment and was rudely criticized about my dogs “weight” and health condition and was denied service even though a faculty member was aware prior. One associate even stated that since it was busy and I didn’t speak to the right person my appointment got canceled WITHOUT notice.

  5. Horrendous. I brought my long hair miniature Dachshund in for a summer trim to shorten her fur a bit for the summer and cut off any straggly bits. I got back a shaved dog!! Who on earth shaves a long haired dog. She was shaking a petrified. I am so upset. When I asked to speak to the manager he had absolutely nothing to say. Please think twice about bringing your pets here for grooming if you care about them. They got one star cause the app wouldn’t let me give zero

    Was looking for the perfect companion for my daughter, who is struggling a bit. We met Amber, the most beautiful chihuahua mix 😍 immediately fell in love. The staff was wonderful and patient. Tyler helped us through this process as well as many other staff members. They were thorough with their questions, making sure the adoption was a fit for both my daughter and Amber. I know that Tyler told us some of Amber’s medical situation, but truth be told, I heard none. She was perfect, and we went home with our perfect Amber. Adoption process 5 star, Staff 5 star and Amber 5 star 😊

    I just picked up my dog daphney’s ashes today which was less than a week and was very impressed on the urn we picked out and the foot print for our memory of her . The staff was very compassionate and caring . I would definitely recommend them .

    I arrived late in the day, after driving, 1.5 hours. I was told the kitten I was interested in was gone. To my disappointment I was ushered to a waiting room. But to my surprise the lady brought a duplicate of the kitten He was named Simba. He was perfect. What a delightful week we’ve had. He’s getting on with my other cat he even chases her. Thank you so much for your time I was a wonderful experience Sincerely , Mrs Best

    Despite initially having some slight reservations, I am ultimately very pleased & relieved with the entire experience I had with them. Euthanasia is never an easy choice but it’s one I had to make. And the staff and personnel at the Newington humane society, well, they mine as well have turned into my extended cousins by the time my experience was over lol. Each of them soooo kind, like genuine kindness, so understanding & so ‘humane’. I left there no longer doubting if I had made the right decision. Previous reviews had me nervous to go there, however I learned a big lesson….tho reviews can be helpful, never judge a book by its cover. I’ve learned to not make your own assessment & your own opinion based solely on another’s. I am so glad I came here. So glad the Newington humane society were the ones to help me say goodbye to my Matches. Our 16 year old terrier. Our family dog. My baby. From check-in upon leaving, I felt secure and assured and comfortable. They gave us a blanket and a leash and quiet time to spend with matches. And they would be wonderful to my only son. Saying goodbye to him was the most traumatic experience I’ve had to endure in most my life. But they played him music and fed him treats, rubbed his belly and kept him warm. They helped me say goodbye to ‘family’ and for that…they will ALWAYS be my first choice. His ashes came back in less than a week and their prices in comparison to just bout everyone in the area is not beatable. They understand and have great prices for lower income families. Making it less stressful worrying about money.

    I wanted to say how great service was when I applied for a rabbit in January! Within a few hours I got a response to do an online counseling and see if the bunny was the right pet for me! Two days from then I adopted a bunny and he’s been living happily! Ever since April, I’ve been trying to adopt some bunnies that I like, I put in several applications for different bunnies and recently I haven’t gotten a word back. Now I am not currently looking for a bunny and I assume the slow service in April was probably because of preparations to go in person for adoptions and stuff but I hope that soon I might be able to adopt another bunny from chs! Great service and very healthy pets!

    Inside the store, so hot, we cannot breathe This temperature it is not gonna be good for the products inside the store And the stuff inside they don’t really care about the store. It’s been a month I go to the store every day looking for budgie food and the shelf is empty and non one of them checking or doing inventory. pallets everywhere Its been more than months pallets sitting there on the floor between shelves

    We’ve been going to this store for over 2yrs and it used to be very pleasant and stocked well. The employees were helpful and respectful. But NOW, it’s become the ghetto pet supplies! I don’t where those little girls were hired from but they have NO manners what so ever! They don’t stop having conversations when you walk up to pay. When you are paying they stop in the middle to talk to the other employees who by the way are just standing there. Just recently I was there and the one girl just stood there staring at me the whole entire time! The other day that same little ahole made a comment about my mother, she thought she didn’t hear her. But there’s never a manager around, so the employees behave like five year olds. We customers spend a lot of money in these stores but I’ve had it and refuse to put up with the lack of respect and consideration from the cashiers anymore!! There are other places to shop.
