  1. The employees here made us feel comfortable in the hardest moment I’ve ever experienced in life : saying good bye to my precious angel Pickle. They were informative caring and considerate. They let us enjoy our last moments calmly together before Pickle joined his big brother on Rainbow bridge.
I can’t say how grateful I am for the staff here.

  2. My first time visiting. Wonderful experience. We adopted our first dog! I would recommend that if you’re looking for a pet please visit the Humane Society. There’s lots of love there.

  3. Thank to BHS I was given the honor to save a gorgeous Lil aussie shepherd that was named MARCIE , now known as ELSA, the chance at a great normal doggy life. I just lost my silky terrier a month ago to kidney failure. Elsa was part of the DANIA BEACH HOARDING CASE. You can find videos of it on YOUTUBE. It’s horrible. She’s never seen the outside world, was starved, had to fight 60 other dogs for food. I am giving her 24 hour around the clock attention and love,at her pace nice and slow, and she is already showing signs of relief. This is her 3rd day with me and she’s actually been smiling. When she opens up I will bring her camping, to the beach ,parks and anything a beautiful Lil girl like her would love. Thank you BHS for saving not just her soul but my soul as well. Here are some pictures of ELSA today.

  4. The most heartbreaking place on Broward land.
Long time ago we got our cat from there for our son. Best choice ever.
    She is a purrfecf cat.
Now it’s time for a dog for our daughter.
We had so much patience to keep our hearts ready for the perfect dog.
And staff was kind and friendly and showed us all possible puppies in meeting room.
All of them were healthy and well fed.
Bit so many big dogs with sad eyes abandoned by owners.
I wish they all find their home in good families with kind hearts.
I still don’t know am I cat person or a dog person. Maybe both.

  5. A very good center for rescued tails. They are very clean, all the animals are in their own private place and even have rooms where they can play with each other. They have not only cats and dogs, but also guinea pigs and rabbits. The staff is very kind, and by the way, they accept food as a donation. If you are looking for a friend, I think this place will help you choose your pet.

I adopted Skylar 3/17/2020. I was greeted by wonderful staff members who chose Skylar for me. The first few weeks was us getting to know each other. Almost 3 yrs later and I’m blessed to have a forever friend. Thank you! Skylar has changed my life. She is my baby. There are things that I learned she doesn’t like but it’s okay. She is easy going for the most part and loves to be with me and humans. She part of the girls club lol

I adopted a kitten here last month and the process was so smooth! The staff were so kind and helpful. The kitten smelled clean, was super healthy and very well socialized. On top of that, there was no adoption fees! The kitten came with all of his medical records, vaccinated, no fleas or worms, and they give you a free vet visit for the first 14 days after adoption. This is the best service I’ve ever received while attempting to adopt a cat. I recommend to go here first before anywhere else.

My friend and I rescued a tiny kitten in the center lane on Atlantic Blvd 2 days ago. We stopped traffic and rescued him. He wasn’t doing well at all. We took him there. The process was ridiculous 🙄 It’s extremely frustrating when you’re doing a good dead and they treat you like an animal and you injured the animal. Hopefully, I won’t have to go back🙏🙏

Dr. Castillo is a wonderful doctor who helped us thru the difficult process of having to say goodbye to the most favorite member of our family. She made it easier and Broward County is blessed to have such a good doctor available for its residents and their loving companions.

Absolute dream coming here. After receiving the WORST service at Humane Society, I came here which was about 5 minutes away. Absolute saints working over there who only care about the animals and their well-being. They were so excited with us when we finally decided to adopt a Bulldog named Dozer! Seamless communication and excellent service UNLIKE HUMANE SOCIETY. People should start coming here because there were so many good boys I wanted to adopt who needed homes. You will find the sweetest and most energetic animals here. Excellent service and seamless adoption. They didn’t even charge us a fee and are neutering our soon-to-be dog for free. Even if you can’t adopt a pound dog come here and make a donation! A big one! These people genuinely care for the well-being’s of every single life form in there and they are doing God’s work. 100/10 will be going here from now on whenever I feel like adding to my family!

I adopted my sweet terrier mix from Animal Aid. Tamera and her staff are fantastic-helpful and knowledgeable and their love for the animals is evident. I am so grateful to have found them and my special needs “Scrappy” is my special joy. Thank you, Animal Aid.

I adopted Princess very unique cat in 2012. She is now 18yo. and doing great. She has a brother/lover from same place and with me since 2012. They have house full of unconditional love. Animal Aid is great place to adopt pet. Thank you Guys. Peter Miroslaw. Maybe you remember my adoption in 2012? Daniel is a big 20lb. cat. Princess is only 10lb. They have a great doctor at Coral Ridge Animal Hospital if needed.

I have been taking cats to Animal Aid for a while now. They have been so helpful. The last cat I brought there Dr. Amy showed such caring to try to alleviate the mange & skin condition he had. They work O/T to help the animals & deserve our support. They are doing a great service for us individually as well as the community.

It saddens me to leave this review. Beware to check your pet thoroughly after surgery, please do not leave without doing so. Two years ago I left a lovely review, I was under hue impression they really did care. On December 3rd I brought my son’s Siamese to be neutered. It’s a stray we picked up off the street but feel so blessed to have him. I confided that they were thorough in their process but they were not, they were sloppy and did not care if our kitten lived or not. I walked out, and did not realize, a Collar had not been put on him and I also did not notice the blood he was dripping all over his cage. When my son pulled him out of the cage, he was full of blood and still actively bleeding. I texted Tamara and she never replied or called back. I had the number to a volunteer who did answer and agreed to meet me there. That volunteer repeatedly called Tamara and she repeatedly called the Vet. The Vet advised she was 20 minutes away and she had no intention of turning around. Tamara and the Vet left our bleeding kitten bleeding for hours. Neither of them ever showed up to make sure he was okay. The volunteer poured glue after more glue, while our kitten sat there in pain and with his testifies so blue, it was not normal in any way. I have filed a complaint with the State of Florida against this butcher. That day they had over 31 surgeries scheduled, which is a lot for any Dr but way too much for an incompetent one like this one. If you do use this center, do not leave without checking your pet is okay. Once you leave, they honestly don’t give a damn what happens. They’re easily replaceable, why should they care. I say that facetiously but it’s wrong, every single one of the animals going there for help, absolutely matters. She takes in animals in need, mostly to sell them for a profit.

The staff are very knowledgeable and kind. This little office is super busy but they still have great, helpful customer service. You can see everyone working there truly loves animals. Making a donation to this organization is a wonderful investment for precious animals‼️❤️🐾
